Kashyyk invasion- objective 2

There's a discussion up for the second objective of the invasion, so I figured, might as well start one up for our defense of the stronghold. What do you guys think? Any ideas? Tactics?

A good idea, well I had two ideas. Perhaps there is a way to create some type of choke point, or maybe there's a way to delay their attack, kind of trip them up and split them up.

I have zero experience with invasions but...

Would it be beneficial to have one or two people play a supporting role? Their job would be to move between fights, helping those who are losing or at a disadvantage. Once the scale has been balanced or tipped in the Republic's favor in one engagement, they can disengage to offer assistance to another group of people. Is this practical?

[member="Ayden Quell"] In posting, I'd imagine it would cause quite a bit of confusion. Invasion threads are confusing as it is, with the massive amount of posting, so I don't know how well that would work.

The same author of that submission also submitted two anti-fire measures were running around, appeared to make sense considering Kashyyyk has faced two major Invasions in canon alone - one would think after the Inferno book - they would have something

All from a balanced perspective.

I totally like that and appreciate what he did there. Deserves alot of credit.

Yeah I considered that being a problem. There would need to be clear post headings and lots of communication. It wouldn't be easy, but it wouldn't be impossible either.

Very much so - depends on what the overall objective is or who the individuals are.

I plan to sit on a turret emplacement and go to town.

Book would also do well to be paired with a Jedi of some sort against Sith opponents. The Sith can't sense him, he can easily flank while a Jedi distracts, and rifle does the rest.

Forewarning: Darth Praelior & Reverence will be at this objective. So prepare for the worst. Both powerful Sith Lords.

EDIT: So will Vornskr, Mordecai, and Matsu Xiangu...Man oh man Objective 2 is going to take a pounding. (Kezeroth will be there as well and I believe he plans on engaging me as he's already PM'd me.)

I don't have any training, but I'm pretty strong despite my size. I'll be helping out here.

[member="Seraphina Shel'tah"] We've got quite a few powerful masters with us on this invasion. Even if we do take a good beating, I have no doubt we'll give the OS a run for their money.

Yes Praelior and I shall duel, and all are capable writers with good strategy. So we have to out wit them...

EDIT: Praelior loves her gagets and sorcery. Matsu's good with illusions, and Vornskr and Mordecai are good strategist... Can definitely see them being some of two End bosses in this set up.

It's what hasn't been revealed that concerns me. With the One Sith - there is always a surprise.

Am a bit worried about the rest of the baddies hammering on us.
