  • Military Base Name: KDY Bunker Alpha
  • Classification: Army Base
  • Location: Along the Equator on Kuat
  • Affiliation: Kuat Drive Yards
  • Population: Minimum Garrison of 100 Clones and a variety of engineers
  • Accessibility: The Bunker and the small base outside of its entrance is not only classified by Kuat and Kuat Drive Yards but heavily guarded. Hidden in the forests of Kuat. it is completely walled in with no entrance except by shuttle/landing pad. Kuat Security Forces and Kuat Drive Yards both guard the airspace, making it off-limits to outsiders
  • Description: The Bunker appears to be a military complex housing the Clones and engineers that Garrison here. It has fair defenses, however it seems to rely heavily on its clones. From over the wall, what can be seen is a couple reinforced towers, clones on patrol, and a landing pad. The walls are mountable and can be garrisoned themselves, but where the personnel sleep and eat seems to be within the bunker. It is safe enough to be self-sufficient and withstand orbital bombardment.

CS-01 Major Deflector
The Bunkers purpose, it houses the Major Deflector intended to transmit a shield to the KDY Orbital Array.

Power Room
The Power Room is massive and extensive and powers the entire base, along with the Major Deflector

Galley
The location for Clones and other personnel to have breaktime and eat

Control Room
The Control Room houses the operations center for controlling the automated defenses within the bunker and the Shield itself

Battery Room
The Battery room offers only an hour of power for the Major Deflector, and activates only if the Power Generator goes down without a command. The Battery Room is not enough power to start the Major Deflector, and can only offer an additional hour of power to continue the duration of the active shield.

Barracks
Houses the beds for the personnel that operate the Bunker and its protection.

Landing Pad
The only way to enter and exit the walled-in base.

High
100 Clone Soldiers
  • Two, reinforced Towers with E-Web Heavy Repeating Blasters
  • Walls can be garrisoned on and have cover to shoot down at enemies
  • Internal Security that has sections with activate-able particle shields and hidden blaster turrets (strength of blaster pistols)
  • Hardwired identification checks and panels, each required to activate any system at any time. Identity files are not connected to Kuat Drive Yards, and must be updated manually.

The Kuat Shield Bunkers were planned long before the recreation of the Orbital Array was planned, as it was obvious the Array needed more protection than just a shield and escorting ships. Before the Orbital Array was to be finished, Kuat Drive Yards had contracted a new and aspiring galactic company that specialized in security, construction, and fortifications. President [member="Ferron Troste"] had spoken to its owner, [member="Rycherd Alistair"] and commissioned them to create two bunkers, large enough underground to house what they needed, within a years time. The placement for these bunkers were crucial.... at the opposite ends of Kuats equator, these bunkers would transmit a shield based on Imperial designs to Kuat Orbital Array, each bunker powering and supplying a shield for each half of the Orbital Array, when an emergency demanded it.

Hello there,

On my first read through, this looks fine, but since you're subbing those clone troopers as part of this base, then I'm going to need you to make a formal unit submission for balancing.

What we can do is move forward with the bunker without the clone troopers, then you can have them added back once the unit sub is approved.

They aren't a unit, they are generic soldiers like any army has. They use Military-issue weaponry commonly seen throughout the galaxy. If they were special, I would submit them, but they are fluff for roleplay. The link is to clarify what people are looking at.

If all you want is something like Tempest Force, I will have to make a very generic unit template, but I will if it is absolutely necessary.

Even if they're average as you say, I'd prefer a formal unit submission with clearly defined capabilities.

Just copy over what you wrote in your blog post and flesh it all out. The process is painless, especially for a common unit like you claim your clones to be.
