Kesh, The Pain of my efforts. (Advice and suggestions)

[member="Solan Charr"], I think it's cool that you've put so much effort into Kesh. However, I do feel like it strays pretty heavily from the original EU canon concept of "glass cities full of glass people carrying glass daggers." In other words, a fragile, but aesthetically pleasing system built on betrayal and the pursuit of outward beauty and power.

Granted, you aren't a Sith, but it feels like it's become more about Solan's kingdom and how he wants to eradicate bad things, like slavery, while at the same time maintaining his affinity for the dark side. There's a cognitive dissonance here from a reader's point of view, but maybe I haven't read enough of Solan's motivation/confliction to know why he is a dark side do-gooder.

Maybe I just loved the Lost Tribe too much.

Actually i was hoping the new cities portrayed that same sense of mixture of beauty of power and beauty. Thus the focus on military and new yet not coruscant style cities. I can see your point though and when i move onto the last of the Chaos Canon cities, im going to push a bit more of the idea of the old Kesh rather than this new one.

Another thing i was trying to push was the reduction of Sith influence to focus more on the original Keshiri Culture. Sadly it did mean focusing less on the whole idea of a Glass city, but that is mainly due to the Sith being the ones to introduce that practice. Solan did keep alot of lost tribe practices though, considering he understands how far its ingrained at this point.

Hope this helped a bit to clear any confusion. But none the less your words have helped me see where i can improve on keeping things under their original influence.
