[member="Solan Charr"], I think it's cool that you've put so much effort into Kesh. However, I do feel like it strays pretty heavily from the original EU canon concept of "glass cities full of glass people carrying glass daggers." In other words, a fragile, but aesthetically pleasing system built on betrayal and the pursuit of outward beauty and power.
Granted, you aren't a Sith, but it feels like it's become more about Solan's kingdom and how he wants to eradicate bad things, like slavery, while at the same time maintaining his affinity for the dark side. There's a cognitive dissonance here from a reader's point of view, but maybe I haven't read enough of Solan's motivation/confliction to know why he is a dark side do-gooder.
Maybe I just loved the Lost Tribe too much.
