Some people don't have tragic backstories. They lived simple, nice childhoods, without too much pain. Perhaps something inspired them at some point, maybe they had a dream to follow, or maybe a family member showed them a path they wanted to walk down. For some, the pain never really comes. For others, of course, it arrives after they step into the 'real world' of adulthood. In the case of one Esker Dunwich, a young man from Naboo, it would likely be the latter. Inspired by his uncle's enlistment into the First Order military, Esker decided to devote his life to being a soldier. All throughout his late teenage years, then into his first couple years as an adult, the man trained, endlessly preparing for his upcoming service.
Shortly after his 21st birthday he followed his uncle across the galaxy, found the closest recruitment center, and enlisted. Over the next few years he completed his official training, was assigned to a squad, and was given his first set of gear. However, it was not until a few weeks after his 24th birthday that he was moved to active duty. Little time has passed since then. He has a lifetime ahead of him, a lifetime of service, and he eagerly strides towards his fate. Whatever comes his way- good, bad, or ugly- he is certain he will be ready for it.
