Private Kickin' It on Kavan

Persephone stopped to watch the heard of beasts, doing her best to skid to a stop. She had to use the tree branches to stop once again, getting snow all over her, causing some to drop from up high in the tree. Which crashed down and caused a great deal of noise. From there, the herd of beasts caught sight of her. The pack paused for a long moment, before the leader of the herd decided it was time to charge.

Charge straight towards her.

With the dash skimmer still on her feet, Persephone kicked off from the tree. She had thought about going to the open river and moving like they once had, but that seemed unwise. Instead she pushed her dash skimmer further into the woods. That meant slow going - Persie wasn't a Jedi nor overly athletic, which meant this was a good and bad idea. Didn't have much of a choice.

Snow kicked up from her dash skimmer as she went deeper and tried to go into the thicker strand of tree. What she didnt anticipate : these were wild animals that were clearly used to running through the forest for one reason or another.

Casaana Casaana

Watching the creature turn almost as if it were in slow motion, Casaana watched, trying to figure out what it was doing. She screamed out a warning as it began to charge, helpless to do more than watch. Persephone saw it too and road her board into the woods, which had Casaana swearing in a way she wouldn't anywhere near a Temple. They could have outrun the lumbering beast so easily on these fast boards, now her friend was running away from her while having to dodge the trees!

Angling her own borrowed ride, she took off after them as fast as she dared. She wanted to try blasting the large animal, but didn't know how well her pistol would do against the Icetropmer's shaggy coat, or if she'd just further enrage it instead of forcing it away. Instead she tried to focus on dodging the trees as she stayed low on the board and hoped that she made it to this monster in time without having a branch knock her down.

In the shade of the trees, it was suddenly very cold despite her warm layers, the wind certainly didn't help. The thin ends of a branch whipped across her neck and across her cheek, leaving red lines in its wake. The pain wasn't a lot, but the surprise of it sent her flinching into a spin. A bare bush tripped her into a deep snow drift. "Sith Spit." She swore again as she pushed herself up and assessed her board. This wasn't working, Persephone was fleeing for her life and she had to catch up from way behind.
