Kill and Eat.

After waiting a moment or so, the Dar'manda was met with a response from his apprentice. This was good, for now it seemed as though she would allow him to take care of the debt she owed to her father. "Excellent." he said simply, reaching for his beverage once more. "I suppose a word with your mother is in order...or, alternatively, provide me an account number. It's quite difficult to return a gift that 'appears' with a note attached."

Then came the silence. Vesphira just so happened to get a certain look in her eyes; the sort that said "I may be here, but I'm not." To say the least it was rather uncanny, but Dagora said nothing on the matter. If this was her thinking things over, then he would give her as much time as she required. Life decisions were never to be rushed, after all. So, while she thought, the Sith Lord raised his beverage to his lips and continued to drink. Several minutes later, the silence was broken and Dagora found himself nodding.

"I couldn't agree more." he began, only to be met with the final curve ball. He had to explain things? Without mentalism? Alright, game on. "Fair enough, I'll have a word with your father. Come with?" Rising, he abandoned the beverage and made his way calmly across the bustling establishment. With each step, he collected his thoughts. He attempted to put himself in the bartender's shoes so that he could best formulate what to say...and found himself thinking about how he would react if a random man approached wanting to take Deneve Force-knows-where.

And that was the key. Approach the man as a father speaking to another. Coming to a halt, Dagora regarded the aging gentleman with a nod before speaking. "I owe you an apology sir." he began, motioning to the destroyed table. "In my eagerness to hunt a certain mark, I damaged your property. I will compensate you for the damages of course."

He paused. Drawing a calming breath before continuing.

"Outside of this, I have come to speak to you about your daughter; and an opportunity that will only come once in her lifetime. There is no doubt in my mind that, as her father, you would like nothing more than to see her successful, happy, and situated somewhere free of the threats of Nar Shaddaa. I come bearing that opportunity, but before I extend it I would like your blessing. You see, Bounty Hunting is but something undertaken in my spare time. The vast majority of my time is spent leading Arakyd Industries as its CEO."

And of course he would know about Arakyd, most in Hutt Space did these days.

"I have been seeking an assistant, one who is capable of navigating the business world and succeeding. I believe Vesphira is that person. Will you allow her to pursue this path?"
