[SIZE=9pt]After the success of the ESKR Mk.1, EODD began exploring stealthy weaponry of other kinds, with one of the more experimental successes being the Kitshor SPX. With the weapon being a blaster rather than a kinetic weapon it produces much less extra sound, requiring only the sonic emitter rather than baffles, which uses inverse sound waves to cancel out the firing sound and make the weapon practically silent.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]A major part of the design, and a highly unorthodox one at that, is the use of the extremely rare element isotope-5 in lieu of a traditional power cell to supply energy to the weapon. Even in a small amount Isotope-5 provides extreme amounts of energy over long periods of time, meaning that users won’t need to reload the weapon at all until the gas canister is fully depleted. This alone could provide an exceptional advantage in a firefight, though it’s not the only one by far. Due to the exceptional power supply, on fully automatic fire mode it boasts a much higher rate of fire than a majority of similar weapons on the market, a feat achieved without dropping power per shot as well.[/SIZE]
