[Ares Atrius]

The Knight Houses are the first line of defense and enforcers of justice on Iokath. They are the pillars on which the society stands and who the society can look up to. There is no mistake in their military-nature, but they will always put the greater good above the individual needs or desires. Their Force doctrine does not allow to utilize the Dark side nor the Light side and strictly follows a path between the two, embracing justice over compassion and order over power.

Every Household is led by an Exarch, rarely more than one Exarch is part of a house, a careful consideration for check and balances. They have full authority over their respective provinces and answer only to the two Praetors or the High Justice. Due to their immortality, in regards to dying of old age, the replenish rate for Exarchs is very low, but also the skill ceiling has increased dramatically over the past centuries, with newer Exarchs being required to go through much more challenging tasks before being allowed into the altering process.

The Houses all sport their own heraldry and theme while generally adhering to the aesthetics and doctrines of the Eternal Remnant at large. Knights, Scions and Horizon Guard are all part of each house and some lean more into one path while others tend to be more versatile. Others chose a focus on heavy Skytroopers or to deploy strong amounts of non-Force users as their agents or soldiers.

All Force User training is based around the knowledge gathered in the Holocron of Zakuul, a large repository of information on the original Knights of Zakuul. It is savely guarded by the Honor Guard, the White Knights who are only answering to the High Justice or the Praetors and are independent of each house. They are the guardians of the knowledge and traditions of the Eternal Remnant as well as its pursuers.

House Atrius, Ares Atrius	House Atrius is one of the three founding Houses and is currently led by Ares Atrius, Exarch for many centuries. It is one of the most traditional houses of the Eternal Remnant and focuses on balanced warfare and combat, utilizing a versatile mix of Knights, Scions and Horizon Guard aided by a specialized Commando force. Their leader has the most terms of Praetorship of all current Exarchs.
