Kobe's training.

Kobe stopped himself, he was soothed by Josh's song, and he looked to his father about to leave.

He nodded to Josh, then ran towards his father. '' Dad.. i don't want you to go, i love you'' He hugged into his dads knee, and refused to let go and he closed his eyes tightly and felt at peace.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Matsu had not fully expected the results... she expected the fight but Kobe shouting drew their attention as she straightened herself and stood there to the side. This was not her child but she did look and listen to Tracyn as he spoke preparing then left. Her face remained impassive as she walked over towards Kobe and spoke offering a nod of her head.

"I am sorry about that padawan." Matsu watched Kobe hug his father as she moved and spoke standing very still. "Tracyn you should be his father now, even a jedi with children has to be with them. Take my advice and teach your son, show him how to be the man you are. Raise him to be everything you were or if you must leave him do so not without explaining."

Tracyn gently pulled @[member="Kobe Ordo-Seren"]s fingers from him, staring at him as he got eye level with him. He fixed his hair and his shirt, smiling at him."When you're older, you'll understand. Or not."He patted his chest, the smile fading from his face as he stood up, reaching for the hood on the back of his neck. He stared at @[member="Matsu Ike"] and @[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"], staring them down with the hawk-like ferociousness that he was slowly becoming known for. That, and the borderline ruthlessness he displayed in combat and in his pursuit of his other son.

He spoke after a moment."If you two want to really help him, when I get back, he won't be at this place. And he won't be anything like me. Because as far as I'm concerned, I'm not a good role model. And the kind of life I've lived and the kind of man I was and am shouldn't be a concern to him."He turned on his heels and walked away, just walked away. He wasn't crying, he wasn't feeling anything. Just a blank slate, like most Jedi should when their emotions could get in the way of a situation.

Josh stared in horror as Tracyn promptly rejected his own son when he needed him most...

"Tracyn" Josh stated calmly. But inside, he was shaking. So much he wanted to say for that display.... But he could only say one thing...

He looked down, saying one thing that both Tracyn and Matsu could hear...

".... You piece of selfish, good for nothing bantha shart...." he stated firmly.

His eyes never left Tracyn. His eyes flared up, his irises on fire as his pyrokinesis was reflected by his emotions... He wouldn't allow rage to overtake him as it usually did Tracyn... Instead he repressed it, and that rage was shown in his eyes as the fire burned....

"How could you?" he asked, shaking his head.

"What piece of shart abandons his own child, huh? He NEEDS YOU!" Josh shouted, his frustration finally starting to pour out... So long he wanted to talk to Tracyn about this... And now he'd just watched him leave Kobe behind as if he meant nothing to him...

Tracyn stopped, and turned his head halfway around to face Josh. He stared him down, and then turned and snapped at him."I'm sorry that I have to live with the fact that my wife, his mother is dead, and his brother may never return if I don't stay on Kaine! And what you don't realize is that I can't be a good father to him! And feth you for telling me that I'm bantha fodder, you little punk. What you think of me doesn't exactly bother me!" He said with a bit of a snarl, turning on his heel again, this time walking away in a bit of a hurry. The dragon inside him roared a bit, and it showed with a bit of a snap of his tongue and his body language.

"You're not a good father because you choose not to be one!" He snapped. "And what if you succeed, HUH?! What if you kill Kaine? What if you find Cassus? What then? You broke the trust of your own child! You're abandoning hin, Tracyn and he will NEVER forget it!" He shouted.

"Kobe needs you. This is a time of his life where he needs his dad more then ever. But NO! Dad won't even be there when he's even around!" He said. "And that, sir... Is the weakest, most pathetic, un-man-like thing I have ever seen in my life..."

"I don't give a flying kark about battles or toughness to show what makes a man. To me, its how you treat your children that defines you. What fatherhood does to you... THAT reflects who you are"

"And you... I see a poor excuse for a man who is so shortsighted that all he cares about is revenge, not caring about the fact that he won't HAVE a son to come home to when it's over!"

"And you don't think I'm just as upset about Asha? I had a Force Bond with the woman, Tracyn! I should be DEAD!" He finally said... The first time he'd admitted it to Tracyn.

"But she's gone and I've somehow been gifted with life... And I'm going to spend it making sure Kobe grows up right like she would have wanted, whether you wanna be dad or not"

Tracyn didn't say anything, he didn't need to. Joshua already said it. He stared at him for a long time, before flicking up his hood. He didn't care, anymore. Truthfully. He didn't have a lot left, and whatever friendship or bond that he and Joshua shared, was burnt by the stare that Tracyn gave him. He didn't dare look Kobe in the eyes, he couldn't bring himself to do so. He just put his hood up, and marched away to the doors, slowly opening them, and letting them fall shut behind him.

Whatever had been stirring in Tracyn, had awakened. It was a notable change, something that could be seen and felt from miles away. It was a bloodlust that had been left unchecked. It was a rage that had been unanswered for far too long. And most importantly, it was all hope for normality and civility gone in a single, burning flame. He didn't look back, and to some, it seemed as though he didn't care at all. But in reality, Tracyn not being in the picture was the best thing for Kobe. It was the only hope for Kobe to come out a good man by not wanting to be like him. He hoped he would understand one day, but he doubted he would. Tracyn kept walking.

Just.

Kept.

Walking, and out of the temple, and into the city. Away from everything. Away from it all.

Josh stared sadly, breathing as he watched Tracyn go. His eyes flicked to Kobe. It was then he realized he was shaking. This entire situation had Josh on edge... But he didn't care.

He kneeled down to Kobe's level, taking the hands of the child as he stared into his eyes sadly. Kobe could feel Josh's hands shaking.

"I'm sorry..." He said, looking down. "I'm sorry... I tried... I did all I could, I tried all I knew and I still failed... I'm so sorry Kobe...."

He gritted his teeth. He had failed him, in his eyes... He had failed Kobe...

Kobe sighed. His mother was gone, now his father. ''Why me'' He thought to himself, along with a thousand other thoughts that all connected and came to the conclusion of the 'why me' question.

He shed a small tear, because that's all he could do. He was devastated. He turned into his uncle. Placed his head onto his chest and quietly sobbed. He promised to himself he would not let his emotions get to him like this again. But for now, he sobbed. He was only a kid after all.
As he sobbed quietly into his uncles chest, admist the snuffles of his nose. He wondered what would happen now, would he become an orphan? would his uncle take him in? he did not know.
