Korriban Road, Take Me Home

Rika gave [member="Kahlil Zambrano"] a smile and a quick nod of her head. It was intriguing to see what changes had happened over time to her homeworld, but in all honesty she hated how easily she had got onto the planet and the fact her allegience to those that now ruled over it was non-existant. "We are a warrior race with centuries of fighting amongst ourselves and other races. It is a habit that many cannot get past. Hell even I am not the biggest fan of humans or Twi'leek but we have to deal with it. I can understand that it costs so much though. To think though that it was the Jedi exiles long ago that came to this planet and shared their knowledge on the force that made us all into what we are today. Everything stems from the Jedi's narrow minded view on things. They create their own enemies where there isn't any. Keepers of the peace and Justice. I've never heard of so much bullshit in all my life." her face and voice showing disgust to the jedi.

She cleared her throat and regained her composure "But I digress. You wanted to show me around the hold. Then please lead the way." she took his arm but remained wary of him. This would take her deep into the lions den and in her still weakened state she would have to be very careful.

"For the Sith, the only way to make a change is to be strong enough to enforce it. I don't mind the strong ruling and the weak crumbling. But when it comes at the cost of the unification of all Sith and lets the Jedi take us apart piece by piece, there's a problem." Kahlil lead the way into the Korriban Academy. The statues of old still remained, but the original structure had been updated drastically. There was certainly a modern feel to the Sith here, making sure everything had a use. That was the product of time after all. It was a shame [member="Rikaelyr Ragnos"] couldn't appreciate the new that did it's best to compliment the old, but he understood. As a user of Sith Magic, he understood the need to respect the old ways.

"of course, everything is updated, save for the Acolytes chambers. They're as minimal as needed to ensure they don't think too highly of themselves. They are nothing until they make something of themselves, regardless of who may of been their parents." He spoke from experience as his time as an Acolyte had him near death constantly from rivals who would love nothing more then to have a Zabrano kill under their belt. There would have been no retribution from it either, as it would of meant Kahlil was too weak to survive. He gritted his teeth as he thought of the memory, a frown taking over his features before he forced a smile.

"I'm sure there's very little left compared to your Empire. For that I apologize."

Rika nodded in understanding but was paying more attention to the old parts more than anything. "Good to see the acolytes get the bare minimum, maybe their displeasure with it will fuel them to perform better. I just hope that the holocrons have been well taken care of. There is a lot of knowledge in them, plus I never did get to finish learning from them all."

She continued to walk around with [member="Kahlil Zambrano"], they both got some looks from those around them but she paid them no mind. "Such curious little ones, Perhaps they should be paying more attention to their tasks rather than us. Such things could get them punished. Wouldnt you agree?" she said loud enough for all to hear

"If there is anything that has been untouched, it is the knowledge of our ancestors. Of course, they're not here. The Library Temple of Krayiss II holds most of the Empires knowledge for safe keeping." Kahlil shrugged his shoulders. The protection of knowledge was important to the Knight, especially since only through it could he become strong among the Sith. [member="Rikaelyr Ragnos"] would find him also ignoring the few who would look their way. Of course they would stare.

"A Prince is walking around with a new face to the Academy will always gain looks. Those who want favor with my Father who assume that getting with me will gain it. It's normal."

Rika was a little annoyed to leared that most of the knowledge had been moved off world. The ragnos tomb had been ravaged over the years. however it did seem like some of the hidden passages her lineage knew about had been untouched. "Let me guess that planet is under the control of your empire?" she asked calmly. She had to remain calm and nto let any of her feeling give her away. Last thing she needed or wanted was to end up fighting Kahlil.

"Ah so scheming but narrow minded individuals, it seems nothing changes over the years. Perhaps they should do their research. I was a memeber of the Dark Council a while back."

"Naturally. With so many heretic Sith trying to undermine the Emperor, it was necessary to defend the knowledge." Kahlil continued to lead them through the academy, heading towards one of the libraries within. It was, despite holding few of the original holocrons, full of datacrons and replica holocrons of the older empires. At least, what could be salvaged. "You'll find, unfortunately, no one will care about your past station. Your Empire is gone, and there is nothing left that says anything about you. You'd just be one of many who claim to be of the Dark Council."

There were indeed many who claimed such influences. Souls from the age long past. Who knows which were true? But to Kahlil, he didn't care one way or another. What mattered was the here and now. And now, [member="Rikaelyr Ragnos"] had nothing. "Naturally, I don't doubt it given your strength. But that's what matters. Your strength here and now, not your past."

"A shame so many claimed to be of such, it would seem that after I vanished, any Sith tried to claim to be me. On a more positive note, it made tracking me down so much more difficult over the years. I worked for Darth Nox as their contact within the Empire, once they left I was given the seat so that I could continue their work. Darth Marr was aware of this." she was angry that everything she had done in the past was now obselete to these new Sith. She was glad not to be joining them as she would have meant so little to them.

In that moment she wanted nothing more that to let loose a giant wave of dark side energy and drain every last person there of their miserable existance. "Then I guess this planet no longer has need of me and I no longer requrie it. I will have to find somewhere else to call my home."

"A shame indeed." Kahlil offered a sympathetic shrug of his shoulders and gently pat her hand that was wrapped around his arm. It seems their reunion was coming to an end as [member="Rikaelyr Ragnos"] seemed less and less likely to remain. A shame. "I understand that you don't wish to remain. It's a shame, truly. While your rank no longer matters, your power and knowledge would have been a welcome addition to the Sith."
