Kraetos | Open To One Sith

Unlike her other talkative Darths, Nephthys stood quietly at the rear of the ship. Her diminutive form would stand next to a large viewport -- or what passed as a viewport in the organic vessel they flew in. The apparent mute would stare quietly into the distance, and one would wonder if she was simply meditating or thinking.

Long black hair would flank her pale face, giving her an almost doll like appearance that was both surreal in nature as well as eerily beatific. For those who knew her were aware she would communicate with a more telepathic method, in a series of images and muted words that would transfer through the Force for those who were receptive.

Otherwise, she normally kept to herself or with her twin brother. It appeared that for this mission, she would risk life and limb on her own.

Odium who had until now been reading a small holobook on various force traditions from history walked to stand beside the mute woman. He did not do so for any other reason than she like him could not or did not speak. His large black eyes gazed out but he did nothing but brush her shoulder with his as they travelled through hyperspace. He was here to aid their ally because it was beneficial to do so, and he had decided to stand with her because he enjoyed quiet company.

He had yet to feed on anything recently and the lives around him were a constant temptation now that the hunger he had been warned of had begun to take grips on him. He looked out and made a conscious effort not to look at the Vahla or the others until it was time to slay the dragon.

Arturious remained still in his position away from the group his eyes not opening but reflexively his head would occasionally turn as the others conversed on different topics. In truth there was really only one person Arturious really spoke to at any length. To the rest he only gave short quips or single direct answers.

Darth Banshee polity nodded, as @tsvong kraal acknowledged her. At least their where polite members here of the one sith, she then glanced at @malphas. She did not like him, as he seemed to have hump, that he had take orders form her. She replied Nice to see you as well. She then headed to her cabin to, to put her things away. She figured at some point she might get herself a servant, to do these things for her. Though she have to vet who ever took the job, as she starting to a crew, a few people who might be willing to spy on her actions.
After she had packed her stuff away, she made her way to the galley. She wanted just hang out their and see who turned up. She never know who you may meet, on an expedition like this one. A mission to kill a dragon after all, would attract a lot brave fools. Also would attract people of real skill, people she would be interested in making friends off. As they may come in use later on in life.

So she sat the bar drinking a glass of echani red wine, she had put a couple the bottles behind the bar for herself. After she procured a few creates from the empress teta system. It was an excellent wine, she really enjoyed drinking it. Though she did like giggle sticks too, but only in her company.

Darth Nephthys would sense Darth Odium's presence. The crown of her dark head would start to swivel over towards his direction, bright crimson eyes watching him carefully.

Curiosity would fall down over the bone necklace he wore, along with the pulsing crystal he always had in hand. Were they gifts from the One? She would wonder and muse.

He must be so blessed to be gifted by the One so.

"We're here," Tsavong broke the silence throughout the ship between the various members of the fellowship. He approached the cabin and placed a giant hand on the top of the man's chair, bending over to quietly whisper several instructions and hear the man's reply.

Kraal returned to the fellowship promptly after.

"Arkanian Dragons have been seen nesting in the north, near the edge of the Couscaesad Mountain Range. Pack what valuables and gear you need, but pack light - it's nearly a day's journey from here and we're not sure what we'll encounter along the way."

The behemoth began to dress himself in the appropriate Vonduun Skerr Kyrric armor and left for the loading platform, and stepped outside into the ardent forests of Arkania. They had landed in a vast clearing among the trees, and the air... the smell...

It was all very... wild, with no signs of civilization.

The Sith Apprentice found himself a temporary armour in the form of Vonduun Skerr Kyrric. It was strong, he would use it. That's all that mattered to him, and once he had put it on he pulled his pack off of the floor from where he had placed it down earlier. There was quite a bit of equipment in it, tools that may be needed in such a situation.

Considering he didn't know what sort of situation they were one hundred percent going to be in, he brought what he thought'd be needed.

Descending the ramp he looked around as if expecting to see an Arkanian Dragon already, but he got out of the way of the ramp to let others get off of the ship and he walked a few steps away and turned to look at the rest of the company.

Arturious stood finally opening eyes for the first time since they departed. Grabbing only a few items of food to sustain him Arturious checked to make sure his saber was there before descending the ramp of the ship putting feet on solid ground.

Arturious paced back and forth for a few moments his eyes once and closed as he adjusted to solid ground and reached out with the force feeling out whatever could be felt and making himself familiar with how the area felt and looked through the force before opening his eyes again

Nulgath looked up to [member="Tsavong Kraal"] and prepared himself for their battle. He nodded to Galen hoping to see him in battle. Nulgath slowly made his way to the ramp, He was already well prepared for combat but he stopped moving out the way to let others pass like the Pure Blood did. The Zabrak stopped to gather himself one last time. A dragon was a formitable foe he had to make no mistakes this time. Nulgath then joined the rest entering down the ramp expecting a foe but so far saw nothing. He expected it was sleeping or lurking around watching them perhaps.

Galen actually paid attention to his comrade while he replied. Fully paid attention and did not let his ind wander to more interesting topics to dwell on as he did with most others. Quite the smart man, Galen thought before replying back, "Well said, Brother. It is a privilege to be on this quest, and we should see it as nothing less."

Before their conversation could continue on any longer however, they arrived at their destination, and [member="Tsavong Kraal"] rallied his party on this epic adventure they would be taking. He saw other Sith dressing in the Vong armor, but Galen declined the offer. One day perhaps, he would don such an armor, it was formidable, that was not the issue, but he knew it was living, and like his sword, he would prefer to have it from its "birth" something that was attuned to him, knowing his body more than anything else. Instead, he would stay in his normal attire. Stepping away from @Nulgath Zardal, he began his own preparations. Warmth would be an issue on this planet, with the cold temperatures, and Galen made sure his clothing was snug, well insulated, and slipped a glove onto his left hand. He even pulled a mask from his small bag he had brought, pulling it over his face, covering his mouth and neck before he shouldered the pack, containing simple, nutrient heavy food, and checked not only his sword, Thief, but the lightsaber that he had taken from his first kill as a One Sith, Malthael's lightsaber. He didn't enjoy the weapon, it wasn't his after all. He had not made it, but it was useful, and better to be prepared than be left wanting.

Stepping off the ramp that the others were exiting from, Galen stepped to the side next to the Zabrak he had been speaking to earlier, and [member="Malphas"], "May we all live to laugh about this with our bellies full of ale later." This would be fun, Galen looked forwad to his companions' reactions to the journey more than the journey itself. He looked forward to noting which would be powerful allies and those that would simply be pawns to use later when needed.

<<My parents,>> Odium said as he noticed her look at the bone necklace. His black eyes unmoving as he watched the ship leave hyperspace and begin moving in the system. <<And my heart. Tools of the One and the Goddess.>>

He said no more and no less as the announcement of their arrival reached them. He tore his eyes away from the viewport and gathered his Nautolan skin cloak and put it on over his bone riddled armor. He did not say so but he waited for the Vahla woman, perhaps out of the habit of waiting for his master or perhaps his mind was producing more plans, perhaps not.

He walked to the boarding ramp already having everything he owned about his person and needing nothing else he walked out on to the ground of the republic choked world. He tried to speak to the mind of [member="Tsavong Kraal"] and found only an absence in the force where the thing should have been.

'Interesting.' He thought as he turned his eyes to the forest before them.

Darth Banshee finished her drink alone again, she then heard [member="Tsavong Kraal"] say we are here. She smiled, as it meant she at least had some thing to do know. She then head to her room, to get her armour on. She had decide to still where her full battle armour, despite the long walk ahead. Though lighter armour would be more comfortable for the walk, the heavier would ensure her survival at the end of it.

She then head towards the assembly area for the trek. Nothing prepared for that view though, the one of the forest as they came out of the ship. It was green, and so many different flowers where in bloom. She wished she wore her lighter armour, so she could feel the air on face. She could here the birds singing, this place was beautiful beyond belief to her. It was almost shame they where here to kill one of it`s dragons. She now had thoughts, of one day conquering the planet and calling it her own. So she could protect wild life for all time, and the planet. To her sith code was nature, and this forest was nature at it`s best.

She kept trying look a different planets, as they walked where they be orchids or trees. She was almost in world of own, while still marching to same beat as the rest of them.

Nephthys would follow [member="Darth Odium"], her crimson gaze flowing over the thick jungle before them. The coral saberhilt would be secured at her hip, and with a firm nod she would take the first step into the brush.

Danger would thrum heavy in the air. It was not a matter of if they would get into an altercation. But when.

[member="Malphas"]

Tsavong watched as the Sith Malphas approached him, donning Vonduun crab armor. He smiled, offering the man a boisterous laugh and retorting. "I like your style, soldier."

[member="Arturious Engel"]

The behemoth clapped a massive hand on Arturious's shoulder as he too emerged from the ship, a friendly gesture that showed respect in the Yuuzhan Vong culture.

[member="Nulgath Zardai"] [member="Darth Odium"] [member="Galen Otros"] [member="Darth Nephthys"] [member="Darth Banshee"]

He turned to the rest of the party as they all departed the ship. "Let us continue."

The journey was one of silence, one of patience. They would encounter very little fauna, but much of the flora they were presented with in the forest seemed to revile their presence. At one point, the Yuuzhan Vong giant would snarl at a bright pink and yellow flower, and it seemed to... hiss back. Tsavong was very wary of their journey, but for the most part, it was uneventful. Once they had journeyed through the forest, with it now at their backs, they would stand before the mountain range.

The cold wind nipped at their exposed faces, and Tsavong would pull his hood up around his barren head.

"We journey onward to the highest peak of the Couscaesad, a mountain the locals worship and have named Mount Drakken."

Those were the first words Tsavong had uttered in quite some time during the silent adventure into the wilds of Arkania, and would be the last for even longer still. The journey up Drakken was perilous, and many members would find themselves losing their footing time and time again. The steep slopes of Drakken were unyielding, unforgiving. But they pressed onwards.

As they neared the top of the mountain, Tsavong motioned for the party to stop.

Silence.

And then a piercing screech broke upon the mountain. They had found the dragon's nest. and were closing in on the beast within.

Nulgath spoke lowly and approched [member="Tsavong Kraal"] asking " I assume there is a plan of attack for this Beast?" He looked up to him as he spoke and would look around slightly to inspect his surroundings, now was the time for examination and tactics to be put in place. The Zabrak then eyed the rest in back of them making sure everyone was there, He felt obligated to do this since he assumed we would need everyone to bring this monster down.

It was a long and quiet journey. Something that wasn't too exciting. There were many things to look a however, the flora seemed... Cold, just like it's host planet and Malphas meant to get off of that planet as soon as possible. He was certainly in no way shape or form made for the climate they were in. Wrapping his cloak tighter around him, he pulled his hood above his head even further so that it covered his eyes.

Up ahead, the wind carried the faint voice of Nulgath Zardai back to them, but he didn't comment. After so long in silence, he doubted that the Myrshavong would even reply. If he was, he was most certainly going to wait for the rest of the group, and then Malphas's head turned to the side when the ear-splitting screech rolled over the mountain.

They had arrived.

Arturious would give the monster [member="Tsavong Kraal"] a nod when Tsavong clasp him on the shoulder.

"Time to go hunting."

Arturious pulled his hood up over his shoulders and leaned into the wind refusing to let it slow him down any. Arturious would meet his prey without haste and claim the prize.

When the beast roared Arturious looked in the direction of the sound with a smile glad his prey would be more than willing to fight. Turning to Tsavong and [member="Nulgath Zardai"].

"I could always see if I can swing around behind the nest and approach our prey from behind." "If I can get to higher ground than our prey and swoop down from below I should be able to get on it's back." "Just don't let anyone blast me off of it until I can see if there is a weak spot to exploit from that angle."

Tsavong looked to [member="Nulgath Zardai"]. "Plan of attack?"

He looked to everyone else, and then back up at the nest. From it burst forth a creature so terrifying, so titanic, so intimidating that the Myrshavong seemed to shrink before it's visage. It's shadow cast down on all of the members of the Fellowship, darkening the mountain. It seemed to not notice them at first, and began to yawn as it peered across the rocky terrain of Mount Drakken.

Horns and appendages visibly shook, and it's fiery red gaze fell upon the party.

The creature reared it's head and let loose a thunderous, predatory shriek.

".....No, I don't have a plan," Tsavong gulped.

When he heard [member="Tsavong Kraal"]'s response, his eyes widened in shock for a moment. It had never occurred to him that the Myrshavong wouldn't have had a plan. He figured he would have simply made a joke about it and then charged straight in, but from past business deals that they had had, Malphas should have realized that the Myrshavong wasn't just muscle, he had a brain too.

But to lighten the mood, the Sith Apprentice laughed.

Nulgath looked at the Skies and all around the sound caught him off guard to be honest and made him more on guard. Looking to [member="Arturious Engel"] he said " Ill go with you its best to stay in a group anyway we dont know the creatures power yet, And besides i want to explore this planet alittle." Nulgath smiled and removed his hood having his Green eyes flash. Suddenly Nulgath saw the huge creature appear and when he heard their leaders response his smile turned to a dire look of worry. " Well i guess the Plan is just attack then.." Nulgath was almost cut short when the Dragon spotted the party of Sith. Nulgath looked at it in Awe and Fear. It was not what he expected.
