The Nightseer Recon Suit as its name suggests from the bird it is named after, is a specially designed reconnaissance suit that is capable of fooling electronic sensors as well as the naked eye. Like other suits produced on the KVX lines, the Nightseer boasts standard suit functions such as magboots, thrusters, life support systems, helmet functions. A thermal gel layer inside the suit regulates body temperature to keep the wearer safe in a number of different environments without severe impacts to their performance. The suit can be completely sealed to protect itself from external environments such as vacuum or hazards.
The Nightseer can function in space, primarily in assisting with boarding enemy vessels undetected and neutralizing the enemy crew, key areas of a ship whilst primary assault forces draw attention. It provides up to thirty minutes of oxygen in vacuum or environments without breathable atmospheres.
Unlike the other armored suits produced in the KVX line, the Nightseer boasts a higher fuel capacity with its lightweight and sleek design, letting wearers fly through the air. This in combination with its stealth and cloak suites allows the Nightseer to fly above areas to provide recon and target designation from a relatively safe height. The equipped Laser Designator located on their helmets allows the Nightseer to paint a target and guide in artillery or missile strikes with the coordinates it can provide.
The Nightseer's stealth suite provides multiple layers to hide itself from sensors. The Nightseer has thermal shielding to hide it from thermal sensors and can be made virtually invisible to the naked eye save for a few subtle ripples in the space that the Nightseer occupies. It, however, does not hide the wearer from detection systems that use anything like echolocation or sonar. The suit can also be made visible if coated in any particulates that can cling to the surface like mud or powders.
Like other KVX models, the Nightseer is bestowed upon the chosen elite of the Imperial Sith Legion. Every capable candidate undergoes extensive training to ensure that they are capable of handling the speeds and maintenance of their suits. Due to the nature of the technology used and its functions, each suit is keyed to a specific bio-signature to prevent it from being used by enemies in the event that it is neutralized on the field. When the user's heart rate flatlines for more than a minute, all data stored in the suit becomes wiped and the onboard generator that powers the suit detonates, causing the suit to self destruct and leave nothing for salvage.
Strengths:

- [ Like a Ninja ] | The combination of reflec and stealth systems make the Nightseer virtually invisible to the naked eye and traditional sensors. As a result, it is perfect for slipping by enemy lines to identify enemy positions or targets of high value on reconnaissance operations.
- [ Hardpoints ] | Like other KVX models, the Nightseer features several hardpoints that can attach additional mounted weapons/equipment. There are a total of two, one for each shoulder.
- [ Frail ] | Despite being an armored exosuit, the Nightseer does sacrifice plating compared to other KVX line suits in exchange for mobility and speed. As a result, it takes fewer hits to breach the suit compared to the other KVX models.
- [ Minimal Defense ] | While the Nightseer does have a personal energy shield, it is only active while not mobile and activated. Since the Nightseer spends most of its time on the move, it is primarily used as a last resort holdout option when the wearer is discovered and does not protect the wearer from slug based or physical weaponry.
