Tin'tinag

Life is a queen, if not it would be to easy
"Oh so you lived on Na Shadda for half your life, smuggled killer viruses crime bosses wanted to wipe out entire planets and took insurgent/terrorists jobs for the Galactice Alliance against the First Order? some Jedi you turned out to be". She joked sarcastically once they had entered the bar.

The familaer smell of spice smoke and drink filled her nose, "ahh, its good to be home, in a matter of speaking". Tin'tinag playfully sat down with Ar'ekk while he removed the hood, leaning against the bar in a casual manner. "If anyone asks about the body just say your a mercenary, quite a few that fought against the Sith have such replacements", most patrons didn't care, but it was good to be prepared.

"So, your a heavy drinker as well", she was a bit surprised by his choice of drink, ture the Jedi didn't condone such action, but such a strong drink was not for the light hearted. While Ar'ekk replyied she looked around the room, scanning for any black market merchants and mechanics.

"So besides the engines what else are you looking to upgrade in the ship, I'm certain it need new sheilding and blasters if you want it to last against the more modern fighters", she took a sip from her drink and gave a bar tender a slight wink.

He snorted at her smart-ass response but quickly regained his humor by replying,

"Not quite but I've seen my fair share of stuff." he said in a serious tone as he opened the door for the Tw'ilek.

It was true the Jedi didn't allow their people to drink or display any sort of undisciplinary action in the view of the public however Ar'ekk liked to defy the dogmatic and narrow view of the Order. After all, he had fought in many battles and lost more than he could ever want that he earned the right to have a drink whenever he pleased. He enjoyed the taste of strong beverages.

"Anything that helps the freighter to stand a powerful strike. Don't worry about the budget. We're here not only for the parts, could always use something else for us." the young Jedi hinted to [member="Tin'tinag"], his intentions obscured for the time being.

What ever happened in the past beside losing half a face more then earned a drink,"Best not turn this into a who did more bad stuff, won't do any good is a bounty hunter tries to take us in because were blurting out how many laws we've broken". She allowed Ar'ekk to thing what ever he wanted while taking another sip from her drink, it had been a while since the Twi'lek had tasted alcohol, the familiar buzz welcoming her back to the old stomping grounds that was the cantina.

"Hmm I think I know where we can find all of those and more, but pray tell, what is this additional 'things' you have in mind, hops its not anything illegal, well maybe I do, but it would be nice to know before hand. Perhaps she had underestimated his knowledge of the underground, seems as though he was more then willing to get his hands dirty.

Ar'ekk grimaced at the strong taste of his beverage that left him lightheaded for a couple of seconds before feeling alright again.

"We could use the extra credits, I woudn't really mind to be honest." he replied to the Twi'lek with a smile (only half!) on his face, implying that their options were more than broaden to make a choice from. Coruscant offered a vast market for those who knew their way around the city and the young Jedi knew some sweet spots to earn some substantial income however the favors could turn out to be rather dangerous.

"Let's keep an eye out on the meantime. I haven't been to Coruscant in years and I want to make sure everything remains the same."

It seemed as though Ar'ekk was not a strong drinker due to his face, she'd have to break him in with something a little lighter "perhaps you should let me order the drinks next time". She took another sip, noting his next expression, defiantly hinting towards something not entirely legal. "As for work, I think I know about a crime syndicate that deals in money laundering and other things involving credits, they are more upstart criminals, pay well too, if your interested.

Or there are always plenty of smuggling jobs around, most people pay a bit before hand and then the full lot once its done, to incises the employer to get the job done, and I have a reputation of getting said job done". She finished off her drink and placed a few credits on the table, "That will be all for me, nothing ruins a job more then a slight buzz".

"I don't like the whole pay me half later type of deals. We should aim for something instant, we get it done and then get the credits in exchange. I know Coruscant like the palm of my hand and I'm sure someone's going to think we're clueless idiots." He took another sip of Kriff but this time he didn't feel the immediate effects, probably getting used to it after a few swirls.

"We should head to my old neighbourhood, in CoCo Town. Probably can run into one of the old crime lords who are still running the streets."

The urge of killing those who opressed his family for years was as vibrant as it did ages ago when he had to leave, leaving his family behind without being able to defend them. He would have to remain calm for the duration of this trip otherwise things could turn ugly really fast due to his impulsiveness and virulent need for revenge.

"Well if you have some solid contact then lets, go, I hope my reputation proceedes me, they might suspect you for something else". She stood up and stretched her arms, she could tell that this would be hard for him, meeting with the people that ran his neighborhood, and most likely drove it into the ground.

Tin'tinag walked to the door, making sure [member 'Ar'ekk'] was following, "Ill do the talking when we meet with them, but could you tell me what sort of work they are in"? If she knew what they were into she could also get a better idea of what to say first upon meeting with em, perhaps she'd also ring up an old friend. "Times awaiting lest go"

"I'd crush their heads in if I saw them. I'll let you do the talking and make sure you don't get killed in the process."

The idea he just gave made him become more stressed and irritable than ever before, probably because he would meet face to face with the people that got his family killed. It was a bittersweet and virulent feeling although he would do whatever he could to keep his cool for their own sake.

Ar'ekk followed the Twi'lek from behind as she walked through the door outside,

"They're cold blooded criminals and would do anything for the credits, including killing their own family." the man said in a blunt manner, clearly in a chaotic mood. Whatever happened now, the Twi'lek girl would have to take the charge instead of the Jedi who seemed to be as fuming as ever, clouding his thoughts and every decision to take in the future.

"Hey now I'm supposed to be the evil one with the dark past, Remember disciple of Ren and all, don't go around giving me ideas on how to kill people", it seemed that he struggled with the dark side just as much as she did, this could be problematic if things went south. The streets were still packed, full of the lower class and other undesirables, "I've heard of CoCo town, but I do not know the exact location of these criminal you speak of, I'd be able to get their attention and all, but I need to know their place of operation".

She was glad she carried some silicate 'item with her' just in-case they needed to prove they were smugglers, perhaps she'd be able to use some private information about the Rens to get the required credits, or take up a job that required the use of the force, not many criminal had that ability and where trusted. "If they need someone dead, I have an... acquaintance that could do that for us and let us keep the cash".

"I know, I know. And you shouldn't say that outloud, people like to sell that information here. Remember, I know the town inside out. Anyways, these criminal scum hang by the old market just south from here. Let's take a walk and we'll find them quite easily."

Yes, the streets were packed in that moment but by the time they had reached the market it was going to be a living walking hell. Most of the criminals in CoCo Town liked to pick on those making an honest living such as the vendors and whatnot in the old market, a few steps away from Ar'ekk's old home who was occupied by an old man living his last years of life already.

"Go ahead, I'll stay behind you. That way I can tell you who is who by the communicator. After all, you don't like the way I'm dressing."

He let out a laugh in that moment. Strange, isn't it? A changing mood just a few moments away from visiting a painful place. Coping mechanism, who knew.

"Ill be frank with you hon, most men don't know the first thing about fashion, but you, you are a disaster, no one would like the way you dress", She gave a coy smile before walking away for Ar'ekk, making sure her comm-link was active. Walking closer to the area she easily saw the criminals in question, most seemed like thugs, other more robust proper gang members.

"Hey girly watch doing here", one of the thugs cooed and jered, "Oh you know just a way to make some cash, maybe I feel like killing some no good thugs and taking all their stuff, think you can help me out". Both of them looked at her with dumb founded expression, before on came over to her with a pissed off look, "Look her girl we run this place, so you better keep your lip shu... wait I recognize you, your that smuggler who got caught by the Frist Order or what not after that terrorist attack on a military base, almost started another galactic war".

"Yes that's me, and now I'm back baby and ready to get into business again, so your boss better have job for me to do or both of ya will suddenly be taking a trip to Na Shadda". Most of the underworld knew of her force abilities and actually being trained by the Ren meant she was even more of a danger, "yer sure, just a sec, hey Mudain, we got someone for ya, might be useful for the bosses next job. 'too easy'.

He laughed. Her outgoing personality was more than amusing to the young Jedi and he demonstrated that by loudly letting out a chuckle through his comm-link. She was dangerous though, having a big mouth like that would get them in a lot of trouble but hey... The Twi'lek surely knew how to get out of danger easily as well. After all, she escaped the Rens.

"I'll pretend I didn't hear that. Now, what? What are you doing?" he asked her through the communicator, hearing two thugs in the background.

"I see you from here. Be careful, don't fall into a trap." he sounded genuinely worried.

And yeah, it was too easy and good to be true. Two thugs offering this Twi'lek a chance to meet some sort of underworld crime lord with a simple conversation was too strange to be honest. Ar'ekk lurked behind the crowd, blending and watching carefully for any strange movements. His hands were concealed underneath the robes and hovering his lightsaber in case things turned south.

As she waled with the thugs she gave them a slight hand sight before muting the comm-link, but not turning it off so @Ar'ekkdidn't get suspicious, a slightly evil smile curled up on her face as she walked with them, "So, how have things been since I was away, oh and tell your boss that the last thing I did for him ended up almost getting caught onto by rookie bounty hunters milling about, pick better deal locations next time". (referring to an early bar rp were Tin'tinag used it to hide from said bounty hunters when on Coruscant).

"Its been quiet, now day, why do you care, also didn't you take the money from that job and run, I'd say you and the boss are even, so quit winning". The other thug chucked a bit while she rolled her eyes, hopefully Ar'ekk didn't find out about her prior history with said group, that would have made for awkward conversation. "So what does does he have for me this time"?, "Some big shot on Na Shadda sent out a message detailing for any group connected to the Hutts to keep out for two certain individual, don't know the reason but hes paying for said information, and we know how much you travel s..."

She raised a hand cutting the thug off, "I get it, I find the information and give it to your boss, then he cut me a cut, I'm guessing this will be an ongoing thing then, but why would he be interested why would said individuals be down here". Said thug gave her an annoyed looked before going on "Aparently one of them works for the Nova crime syndicate as an assassin, said syndicate is closing in around on the land nearby looking to take over exploiting people and protection payment, done asking questions"?

She gave him a nod and un-muted the comm-link, "Nope I'm good"

Ar'ekk watched from afar as the Tw'ilek walked alongside two thugs who seemingly chatted with her as they had known eachother, the Force telling the Jedi something was off but couldn't pin-point what the feeling was exactly. Surely the girl had taken her time inside that place but he didn't feel worried whatsoever, the commlink making a strange muffled sound and then voided of it. Tin'tinag came out for everyone's visibilty unharmed and the Jedi felt a strange relief.

"What did they tell you?" he whispered through the commlink.

The man decided to walk away further from the scene to avoid being detected yet remain nearby, standing in a fruit stand and pretending he's interested in purchasing some. Blending with the crowd was difficult for a human cyborg that tall and with a menacing look.

"If anyone asked you don't know us tin", the thug said with a rather stern face, "........ I'm sorry do I know you"?, the sarcastic comment hanged in the air, one of the thugs suppressing a chuckle, the other just looking more and more pissed off. "Fiiiiiiine, I'll be off, you guys are not fun".

The Twi'lek smuggler continued to walk, hearing the com-link go off, "Information job on an assassin from a rival crime group, though it may involve some fighting, hope your up for that". She milled around the vendors a bit, picking up some food and other nick nacks, while waiting for Ar'ekks response. "So where we going to meet up to look over the details"?

"Look to your right." Ar'ekk said as he waved towards Tin'tinag with a fruit in his hand. He had been watching the Twi'lek for a while now.

"I'm just hoping there's credits involved. The rest don't matter." It was certain he needed some generous amount of cash to survive in this cold dire galaxy and to perform multiple modifications to the Ebon Hawk. They were both into this and would do anything to live for another day.

"Brief me on this."

She looked to her side, noticing his force signature first before his actual physical form, Tin gave his a play full wave of the fingers, followed by blowing a kiss for the fun of it. "I see you darling".

Tin began to slowly walked over to Ar'ekk, continuing to speak into her comm-link, "Tracking down informant mission, rival gang syndicated in getting in on the land around this place, apparently some one is looking for information on a certain assassin employed by em, we get the information, give it to Mr boss, he cuts us some cash, and we can turn int this mission multiple times until the Hutt who comminioned the whole thing says other wise, what ya think, might involve fighting.

"I like challenges. Anyone who gets in our way will face the consequences. We'll take the contract and find this information. Know where to start?" He inquired to the Twi'lek who had been showing him a playful demonstration of her unique personality, him only shaking his head yet finding it amusing.

Whatever this individual was after, they'd be able to get it without any major hassle whatosever unless a real challenge was brought upon him. They were a strong duo and definitely could do well on their own if the situation required it. The credit count was scarse and desperately was needed to repair the Ebon Hawk as they pleased.

"And let's try to be less obvious now, shall we?"

She though for a bit but came up with a plan, "I think I might actually, the Novas are family high standard criminal, they tend to own hotels where they run their operations, getting other people to do the dirty work and reap the rewards, while remaining the innocent". She beckoned [member='Ar'ekk'] to follow her, no point in hanging around the area any more then necessary.

As the two walked she continued to explain, "This assassin character may be the quick and stealthy type, so we will need to act smart, but if I know anything about the Novas, they always hire reckless people, opportunist, people ready to jump and a chance to gain wealth quick and easy, you know what that mean Arky"?

"Trouble. I suggest we gather enough intel on these Nova people before we try to do anything." He said, following her suit at a decent distance yet mantaining appearances.

He bumped shoulders with the massive amount of people walking through the same streets as they did, not any single familiar face in sight which was probably a good thing in that instant.

"If this assassin is any smart, he'll cover his tracks and make it difficult for us."
