Late Nights, Coruscant Lights

Svante grinned his big ol' grin as he stood up and motioned for his two new friends to follow him, "Well gents, er, and lady, let's go settle some business and-"

He was cut off by his comlink going berserk; he answered it, "What's up? ... Whoa whoa slow down. ... Deep breath mate. ... Okay. ... Ya, we'll be there. ... Ya, j- ... Just calm down, we'll be there in a jif."

Selanno spun around to face his companions once more. His face had taken a more serious look to it, and his tone reflected the change in the mood as well...he spoke up, just loud enough for anyone listening in to hear, "Our boy decided to go off the deep end, so it's a rescue now. Damn bliksem assaulted the lover and kidnapped his own wife, has a damn bounty on his head too now. Are you two still game?"

Svante gazed back and forth between the two as he awaited their response. What had happened, was the client they were supposed to help caught wind that his wife and her friend were actually having some action on the side, that he had not known about before. This caused him to flip. The bounty states he's wanted for the murder of two bystanders, the assault of the 'lover', and the kidnapping of the wife. A nice 20,000 credits posted by the woman's father, who was apparently a senator of sorts. Although a harder job now, Svante knew this was a better score...more money...more to split. Plus the chance to do a favour for a person in a position of power? Even more worth it.

Svante was now just concerned if his new companions were up for the new task at hand. He looked at them as they mulled over their options.

Of course he was. The stakes had just been raised. Being an operator meant that Karsan understood fluidity, understood the brutality of not being able to properly plan. Svante however, seemed like a smuggler- and not a soldier. Karsan stared at Svante and put his noodles down. He folded his hands together, and stared at him.

"I'm going to need a gun."

Out of the three, Karsan probably had the most will to use it without remorse.

Svante's grin widened, "And that you do...an' thou shalt you ask, shall you receive. We can get you geared up back at the 'Bucket. You too, if you want a big gun." He said, looking at the orange Twi'lek beside him, still unsure if she would still be joining them.

"Let's get moving before anyone else catches word of this mark," Svante whispered hushedly.

Tin'tinag

Life is a queen, if not it would be to easy
What ever sly, cock or smart ass that she was thinking up to throw back at who ever she was talking to vanished upon [member="Svante Selanno"] com-link going off its head, the following one sided conversation and his sudden expression change, 'things area about to get difficult, what fuuuuuuun'. It seemed a little rough, but it was funny that her potential new employer asked if they were still game.

Tin'tinag tired to hind in a giggle, not doing a good job of it though, "Oh please, I've transported deadly killer viruses, and done questionable act involving explosive, this... is nothing, and about guns". She then followed up with a sarcastic eye roll "Oh I m sure you are packing some big guns yourself, but I have my own arms, also prefer close combat". She returned a flirty wink back to Svante and patted the side of her outfit, making note of her electo whip, staff and latest blaster pistol, "lead the way, I'll be right behind you".

The bucket. That's what he called his ship. His prospect of surviving this encounter went from relatively high to relatively moderately high. Then again, names were names and they didn't account for much. The never-smiling spook put down his noodles and looked over at the Space and the Twi'lek whom he'd be spending the next few hours with. Karsan didn't need much else to go on. Go somewhere. Ice the bad guy. Collect the paycheck. Ditch the extras. He didn't plan on sticking around the two for a long time. They didn't seem like the type to be what he was looking for in a group to go with. Then again, he was perfectly content with being by himself.

Karsan stood up, but didn't say anything. The Twi'lek talked enough for three people, anyway. He was ready to go, and do his thing.

Time would tell if the other two were.

"Alright, let's head out then," Svante beckoned.

He lead the two a few blocks before coming up to the Chum Bucket, his boys' old Imperial Lander. A thing of beauty, Svante thought to himself. He invited the two on board to take a seat as he strode up the loading ramp; already inside was his mechanic, Brand Seyley. Svante paused as he realized he hadn't even introduced himself yet, "Almost forgot, you can call me Selanno, or Captain. Also, this is Seyley. He'll get you kitted with whatever you need." And with that Svante disappeared into the pilot's cockpit to prep the ship and relay some information back to the Sojourner.

Brand made a nod of acknowledgement before going to fish out some of the custom rifles that Svante's crew ran. He turned to the two newcomers and offered them each a rifle, "Courtesy of the Cap and Grosser. Do you prefer mag-type power cells, or the pack? You can dish out a lot of firepower with the pack. We got enough for each, so it's up to you." Seyley brandished the rifle, turning it in his arms, showing off the neat angles of the blaster. On the left side was a well that either a mag cell could be inserted, or the pack via a reinforced power cable. The grip seemed to be at a sharp angle, but Seyley assured them it was necessary for the ridiculous amount of power it could fire downrange.

As they pondered over the options, the 'Bucket started to shift and creak as Svante came over the intercom, "Good evening, this is your Captain speaking, gents...and lady. If you'll please fold your trays and return your seats in their upright position, we'll be right off." The occupants of the ship could hear Svante's chuckle to himself before the intercom cut off, and the AAL sped off.

Inside the building that originally seemed rather small was the scent of smoke, exotic food and what was easily recognizable as searing durasteel... and a corpse, that's what that was. Making his way inside with his deliberate and slow steps, the Carbonite Decoration that used to be Trandoshan hovered ahead of him, all eyes turned on him and another Trandoshan at the front of it all - standing on an elevated platform - turned to face Fett, his claws neatly clasped together behind his back. With a toothy grin he chuckled, "Haha, Koda my boy, you never ceassse to fail me. This is Rorsssk, that traitorusss fool got what wasss coming... Take him away." His voice was gruff, even for a lizard, this was an older Trandoshan evident by his battle-scars and position of power. As he gave the order he waved his hand towards the carbonite encased lizard.

Though Koda wasn't so willing to hand it off just yet, the Weequay that got a little to close was met by the barrel of his EE-3 being pointed in his direction. "Not so fast. I want to get paid first." He was stern, serious and they all knew that. His eyes kept on the Trandoshan at the front, "Don't take me for a fool." He finished on.

"After all thisss time and you ssstill don't trussst me? Tsssk tsssk tsssk. Fine, boy." He spat out, somewhat angered as he bowed his head into his palm and shook it from left to right, eventually waving from the left to right as a Rodian ran in to plug in a devise into his Tablet of sorts, transferring funds in an instant. A slow nod from the Bounty Hunter was given as the carbonite was taken away, and he too departed the building. Re-entering the filthy underworld of Coruscant.

-----

As he began walking back the way he came, presumably in the direction of the Space Sport and in turn his Starship, he couldn't help but overhear the word of a bounty on a friend's head, and that they'd be going to rescue him, or at least he was trying to get them to. But he kept moving on. Out of sight, out of mind.

Tin'tinag

Life is a queen, if not it would be to easy
Giving the [member="Aurora"] a sly glace Tin'tinag stylishly jumped of her chair and followed [member="Svante Selanno"] with [member="Karsan Calnov"] close behind, the group soon coming to their new employers ship. Nothing fancy or over the top, but it had its uniqueness, 'oooh this is going to be fun'. "Oh yes introduction, I am Tin'tiang, typical Rylothian Twi'lek with a slight criminal streak, though nothing that would attract the authorities, now new weapon time".

Her scanned over the rifle presented to them by Seyley, looked like a mix between a rifle and light machine gun, not her type of weapon, but free stuff and all, "Ill take the power pack one, less noise, lighter and carries more ammo". She caught the weapon on hand as Seyley passed it to her, checking its feel, a bit off but the sighting and weight was alright, 'hmm not bad, maybe I'll get into using blasters more often'.

As she slung the weapon over her shoulder as captain spoke over the intercom, making a joke not dissimilar to something she do herself if at the wheel of the ship, earning a chuckle out of the Twi'lek as the craft lifted off. Turning around she headed towards the cock pit, eye the constant and lively glowing Coruscant landscape "I have a feeling were going to get along great capt'n".

Mag packs. He'd done enough work with mag packs to negate the need to reload. He silently took the blaster and did his own thorough inspection.

As the ship took off, Karsan held the rifle with his left, barrel down, and looked at the Twi'lek. He looked over at their captain, then smiled at her. A false, introductory smirk.

"Karsan. Just making my way around."

Karsan didn't need to elaborate. Didn't want to explain him being in the One Sith before this.

"If it's noise we're concerned about- slugthrowers are the better deal. Although from the looks of it- subtlety is gone."

[member="Tin'tinag"] l [member="Svante Selanno"]

Svante piloted the ship between the buildings of Corusant, narrowly avoiding them with each dip and dive. He knew they had to hurry. They had the tip of what happened, but it wouldn't be long before the bounty went live and they'd have every bounty hunter in the area on the search as well.

They closed in on where he was told they guy was holding out. Svante wasn't particularly skilled with hostage negotiation, but he figured a group of three armed to the teeth should intimidate him enough...it's not like he was an outlaw. The guy was some office analyst or something. Svante's only concern was other bounty hunters who had less concern for hostages and only cared about credits. Damn bliksem set the bounty as dead or alive, Selanno cursed in his head. He knew others wouldn't share the same trigger discipline as he and his crew would.

They finally swooped into an abandoned block, just a level below the hustling nightlife of the planet city. The 'Bucket touched down gently, and the loading ramp lowered to reveal a dark, dangerous looking alley. Grabbing his own rifle and power pack, he joined the others and prepared to go fetch a damsel and smack around a stoopa who lost his mind.

"Seyley," Svante barked, "watch the ship. Comm me if anybody shows up."

It was a good thing [member="Svante Selanno"] was as skilled a pilot as her, other wise they would have ended up in a building by now, even though his movements where jerky, no doubt due to the urgency of the situation this seemed to be going smoothly. Well as smoothy as a freighter at the hand of a reckless pilot could be, though the main problem would be this hostage stuff, perhaps it would be beneficial to use her force powers, no that would cause to much controversy, perhaps just sublet movements, a force push here and there, nothing over the top, make things look like an accident.

Soon the aptly named freighter touched down, "Looks like its show time, what we got boss, looking at the holo net it looks as if we may have some trouble with bounty hunters, and I'm sure they wouldn't think twice about popping off some extra heads". In truth she was a bit worried about someone recognizing her as a run away Ren or try to collect the older bounties which may or may not still be on her head from the Twi'leks not so legal smuggling days.

Svante sees the trooper saunter over to the group of them, tapping Tin'tinag on her shoulder. Svante raises his rifle to his chest.

"Stormtrooper," he advised, "I dunno what you're doing so far away from First Order territory, but I think it'd be best if you just scurried off." The three of them stood there all brandishing the impressive weaponry. Svante wore an expression that defined intimidation. He just hoped this stormtrooper would get the memo and scram before he got mixed up in the wrong thing.
