Tenn had little reaction to Oni knocking the man out. It's what he would've done. The attempt at a one-liner, however, did earn a raised brow. It wasn't… terrible, as far as one-liners go, but even from their short interaction he could see that it seemed a bit atypical to the Pantoran, "Not bad for a first," He shrugged, "You'll get better over time."

They were both just putting of the inevitable, though. At least they realized it, "Right," Tenn nodded, before heading towards the lift as instructed. Once inside, he fidgeted some with the hilt of his saber, suddenly becoming stiff as the short ride finished, and the doors opened to reveal a figure obscured by a chair.

Tenn scoffed, "It's just a… guy," What could be so difficult about taking him out? Surprisingly, the man spun around as if having sensed their presence, and raised a blaster. Now in full view, he was mostly armored, his features indiscernible. Thanks to his Jedi reflexes, Tenn was quick to react, blocking the shot and throwing his saber, severing the pirate's arm entirely. He scoffed again.

Rather than react with pain or shock, the pirate stood still. Suddenly, fibrous muscles and nerves stretched out of the stump of his arm, regrowing into a fresh limb. A sadistic, tinny laugh echoed from inside of the pirate's helmet. "Oh, shit."

"Gen'Dai," Oni noted, drawing his sword.

Oni knew of the Gen'Dai, a discovery spurred on by his own curiosity. When looking through the history of the Galaxy, one particular member of their species gave their race an infamous reputation for being nigh un-killable. This was sure to not be an easy fight.

"This man can't be killed," he informed Tenn, "Not by conventional means. We need to tear him to shreds and get off this ship."

The pirate couldn't man his vessel alone. If they could force the Gen'Dai to regenerate, they could theoretically dethatch from the pirate's ship and get the civilians to safety.

"I hope you don't feel pain," Oni said to the pirate. "I'm not particularly fond of screaming."

And with that, he moved in to cleave the Gen'dai down the middle.

“Bless you,” Tenn snarked, having no idea what Oni was actually talking about when he said Gen’Dai. He could only assume it was the pirate’s species, but that didn't mean he knew anything about them. Other than that this one was going to be a real pain to deal with. Thankfully, Oni was quick to at least confirm that much, “Great.”

Tenn’s fellow padawan quickly rushed forward, prompting him to turn to Shep and push him back through the lift, “Stay back for this one, buddy!” He hit the button, causing it to go back down, while Shep whined and clawed at the door. Tenn then rushed forward to join him, just in time to see Oni’s sword swing down. The Gen’Dai, perhaps overconfidently, raised a single hand to catch the blade. The weapon cleaved through the middle of his forearm, but the muscles quickly regenerated, attempting to tangle the weapon within the weaving mess of tissue, and wrestle it from Oni’s grasp.

Meanwhile, Tenn came in for a leaping strike, but the Gen’Dai used his other arm to catch the padawan’s leg, halting his momentum before suddenly restarting it by swinging him like a bat towards Oni.

Turns out that the Gen'Dai could do more than just handle pain. As Oni's blade cleaved through his arm, the pirate's muscles tightened around it, prying it from his grip. Then he scooped up Tenn by the ankle, swinging the boy like a bat at him. Oni quickly intercepted the padawan, letting his chest take the full impact to keep him from being thrown. As Tenn's shoulder made contact with him, the swordsman felt one of his ribs crack under the pressure. He winced, but kept his composure, ripping his sword out of the Gen'Dai's arm with the force and cleaving off his hand to free Tenn.

"Be mindful of your surroundings," Oni warned his companion, helping him to his feet. "His kind do not move as you and I do."

From there, sword in hand, the Pantoran stepped towards the pirate once again. Rather than charging in, this time he let out a focused burst of energy, as he had done to cover their entrance. From there, he concentrated as much as he could, using the force to keep the Gen'Dai pinned against a wall.

"Alright," he continued, now through gritted teeth. "Cut him down the middle. I'll keep the halves apart when you do. Just... move quickly."

Tenn's vision was spinning too much for him to make much sense of what was even happening. Once second he was grabbed, the next he felt a heavy pain strike his shoulder, and finally he felt himself free of weight as he flew away and hit the ground. The padawan shook his head, and looked down to see a bit of the Gen'Dai's arm still attached to his leg. In a brief panic, he shook it off, and already the tendrils of muscle sloughed off and began moving back to reconnect with their originator.

"Yeah, I figured that out," Tenn muttered as Oni appeared to help him up. He'd met many bizarre lifeforms in the lower levels of Coruscant- But not quite so bizarre as this. He ignited his golden blade once more, nearly charging in before Oni launched another powerful Force wave at their opponent, pinning him against the wall. Tenn looked between them, and nodding in understanding as the Pantoran laid out his plan. "Right," Quickly, then.

Tenn launched forward, the tip of his blade dragging against the ground and leaving a trail of molten slag in its wake. He came to a sudden halt in front of the pirate, swinging in a broad swipe that cleaved straight through his middle. There was a sudden quiet, as the pirate seemed to fall limp. Tenn panted, and disengaged his weapon, looking back to Oni to make sure he was keeping the thing from regenerating. "…Huh. I guess that worke- Suddenly one the arms lashed around, wrapping around his neck, still intent on fighting. Tenn thrashed against it, and gave Oni a look, then moved that look to the viewport window. His idea was further made clear as he reached out to Force pull a cable from the wall, and hold onto it tightly. If cutting him up wasn't enough, maybe the vacuum of space would help finish it.
