let's see...I learned it in my early twenties, mastered it in my late thirties early forties...as for learning it for the basics it's rather simple as lightning just you know a little hot in the beginning...burnt myself a few good times launching fireballs or even setting myself on fire

She said and chuckled remembering those times

She said and stood besides him, making fire crawl up her arm then slowly down the other side before putting it out

Mig nodded to Stardust before closing his eyes and cupping his hands together. He focused on the air between his hands, trying to imagine it vibrating. Some warm sparks seemed to from, but no full flames.

She lit her hand on fire then tossed it to the other before making it disappear

Mig watched amazed as Stardust seemed to easily produce a flame. He listen to her words and focused again. He used what she told him, drawing in air. Soon, a flicker of a flame appeared. Not much more then candle light, but it was at least something.

there you go! Now try increasing that flame slowly, make it about as big as a torch would be

Good to see him learning it rather smoothly, she made her own little example and showed him as she slowly Increased the flame to about torch size

Mig nodded, focusing on the air around the flame and increase its size. As he did, he could feel it getting warmer and warmer. It was getting bigger, slowly but surely. At least until the flame almost seemed to drop into his hand.

She smiled, nodding her head in approval...quite literally was passing the flame to another. Closing her eyed she let a breath out and relaxed before opening her eyes and watched him. The flame would barely reach his hand as she made it dissipate

lesson two, protecting yourself from the flame you must create a layer around yourself, si the fire will spread around it but not on you

"Ok. So how exactly am I supposed to make this layer?"

you must will the fire to not touch you, create a layer over your skin but not burn a single hair

She made a flame, then with one handed moved it up her arm the heat could be felt but not to her as she smiled

you must focus on that heat and lower it...will it to stay a imch above your skin
