Background and Biography
Leena Jade was born on Talravin, to the near legendary police officer Lucas Jade. The man was one of the best officers Talravin had ever seen, and we suspect that reputation put a lot of pressure on Leena. Luke's dedication to his work led to a rift between him and his wife, who was a drunk. While there's no definite proof, it's highly suspected his wife neglected their children, including Leena.
During schooling, Leena showed almost no desire in athletics or academics, preferring to spend her time pursuing arts and music, including starting an alternative flip band, where she played an instrument and wrote songs.
But when Leena was fourteen, her father was killed on duty. After this, all pursuits of art and music were dropped, and Leena dedicated herself to excelling in the more conventional schooling.
She soon rose to the top of her class, excelling beyond her teacher's expectations, especially in athletics.
After graduating at the top of her class, Leena entered the Talravin Police Force. Once more, we suspect it was either out of a vendetta against her father's killers, or a desire to continue his legacy.
Once an officer, Leena went by the name 'Sparrow', in reference to her slight build and brown hair.
She did very well for herself, making over a dozen arrests in her first two months of service. For the next six years, Sparrow was the perfect example of what an officer of Talravin should be.
But Sparrow was reportedly turned off by the bureaucracy and 'red tape' that restricted her from stamping out crime. She would stay for hours after her shift arguing with her superiors over this, expressing her belief that good should be done, 'to hell with the bloody rules.'
Frustrated, Sparrow quit, deciding to take matters into her own hands.
Still believing herself to be an officer of her own personal law, Sparrow travels the galaxy, fighting any she believes to be oppressors, criminals, and otherwise evil people or groups.
