Legacy of Krayt (Ossus OneSith/SithBrotherhood.v.Jedi PvP)

Lupe was laying on his bed, he was having a spice day. Since becoming a Knight and working more and more outside the Republic he smoked a lot more, I guess he felt no need to hide it from his Master anymore. He had spent the last hour in his room, doing what he was doing now.

He took a drag and closed his eyes. Danger!

Lupe couldn't believe it. He felt the dark side barrage his heart. His hands shook as he put his spice in the ash tray and he stood. He grabbed his lightsaber from his nightstand. He closed his eyes and shook his head, he calmed down.

"No.... not this close."

He sensed the first familiar ally; he wanted to be with someone he knew. It was rather odd that it wasn't his Master, but [member="Anarya Drast"]. Lupe ran to where she was located. He walked in to where she was located, it was her and some of the Padawan's. He looked to Anyra and grinned.

"Nice to see you again; you too Wookie boy."

Lupe ignited his Saber.

"I wish it wasn't under these means.... How can I, the Knight... well this isn't the time... help ya'll?"

Willa looked at Riley as he came and spoke spoke pausing for a moment. "The darkside, someone just arrived and we are not going to like it." Her eyes flicked while senses flared and she lifted the rifle up, Looking through the scope towards the temple while she was looking for the courtyard. "Make sure you have your stuff ready, we're going to need to go in possibly or look for the ship so they can't escape." She spoke while looking and moving to a new position. "I'm going to set up, we got the walker in the motor bay password is goddess to open the canopy. Trust you know how to use a walker and can shoot it."

She had a smirk on her face and climbed up one of the towers holding the anti material rifle while switching the scope. She knew a few things and with the slugs she could ignite them with enough focus. "Havoc squad get up and ready, Rohn we got something happening. I'm heading up high." She moved finally getting up and laying down. The rifle getting placed as her view of the courtyard in the distance between the scope came full view. Switching to thermal vision and looking down the sights as she reached out to find anything she could with the force.

Stepping out of the One Sith's transport, Daella took a quick survey of the surrounding jungle. Since just before the Sith's conquest of Coruscant, Daella had not stepped foot on Ossus. Looking up, Daella saw the mighty temple that she constructed shortly after the Republic's liberation of Ossus. After that, Daella spent time cultivating an organization on Ossus with much of its dealings a secret to others. One could assume that Daella had an extreme amount of knowledge of the Ossus Jedi Temple's interior.

As [member="Darth Veles"] and [member="Darth Banshee"] continued toward and into the Temple, Daella stayed behind the wave of Imperial soldiers that followed. She donned a light brown cloak that covered her body from the neck down. A silver lightsaber hilt was strapped to the outside of the cloak. Daella pulled a hood over her head. This obscured her face and made it difficult to tell that she was Daella by sight.

Then, she disappeared in order to use paths she had built for the purpose of infiltrating the very temple she built.

"Garth, quickly help me with guarding this perimeter." Spoke the Jedi Knight Aaron Hesh, looking back at the shadow in which Garth Hummel stood. He was a Jedi of but 18, cloaked in white robes Garth was oh so familiar with, pointed hood and all. A brash smile and confident eyes lit up the young Zabrak's face under the hood. "Garth?" The Jedi questioned after the lack of response, while Garth stepped forward into the light.

Robes of black and red now adorned the former insurgent, who approached the Jedi with an all to serious expression. "Gart-" The Jedi was cut off as Garth flicked his wrist and the assassin's blade he'd become oh so fond of extended and was plunged into young Aaron's abdomen.

There was a brief silence between the two, crimson blood staining the white robes of the Jedi, who stared helplessly into Garth's eyes, looking desperately into Garth's eyes for answers, for a reason. "We were wrong." He said simply, pulling the blade free and retracting it, watching as Aaron fell lifeless to the floor of the small outpost a small walk away from the temple. Aaron wasn't his target, but another Jedi most certainly was. And he'd find out soon enough who he was.

The Jedi Knight turned his head to look at [member="Hatake Mutashi"] and nodded. It was a good idea, and then he scanned the area once more before turning back around heading into the Jedi Temple again. He was almost jogging once he had gotten in, while Jedi were rushing outside to see what was going on, two Jedi were heading back inside. It was sketchy, but it was necessary.

"Make sure everything is still where it is, ask the droid librarians and the archivist." He asked. The archivist would of course been in the back for whatever reason, but the Jedi Knight stood within the threshold of the doorway, and watched both sides to the corridor. He made sure that he was ready for whatever was coming to the Archives.

It wasn't Tython, but he was still a Jedi Knight.

Kiyron frowned at the comm chatter in his helmet. Trouble? Dark side? He turned back towards the direction of the temple and climbed a tree, grumbling as his gear caught on the branches. Twigs and leaves shifted out of his path until he reached a limb wide enough for him to crouch on and see the temple. He zoomed in in the temple area.

Kark it. Not again. A Sith raid. Here of all places. He calculated. So far, he was two for two when it came to painful endings to engagements with the Sith. Blown eardrums and Dark Side corruption on Valan, proton torpedoed on Carida. What would happen this time? Some Sith drop a tree on him? Bury him under a toppled building? Barbecue him with lightning and a lightsaber? He bet him five hundred credits it wouldn't be pleasant.

"Negative, @Willa, I'm too far out to rendezvous at the roof. I'll make way back into range and set up camp. And I suggest we leave at least one ship intact. Nothing's worse than a Sith with no escape route." He zoomed in a little closer, trying to make out faces. No luck. He had no idea who was here. "And I might suggest assisting in the protection of the younger students rather than charging in headlong. Coordinate with the Jedi to establish a perimeter. Try and leave the bulk to them. This is their specialty."

"Yes, Master," he said and began searching for the archivist and the librarian. Once he would find them and ask them if everything was still in place then he would go back to Zaren and ask if there was anything else on his list. He went to the back where the archivist was always was and sure enough he was there. "Has anyone come here besides Jedi? Is everything still in its original place?" And was then responded by the archivist, "Yes, everything is still where it belongs. And no outsiders has come in here." Well, nothing has been stolen or was out of place.

"Good, keep it like that," he then ran back where his Master was and said to him, "Everything is still in place, Master. Is there anything else?"

"Thanks." she managed as [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] took down another one of the younglings. It was nice to have support.

"I'm fine.... I just.... need... To catch... My breath." The girl managed between gasps. She wasn't used to defending herself from those she knew. Or from so many opponents at once. Hopefully, they would have the numbers to reverse that soon. "You too." She sighed, "I've got nothing, but perhaps if we...." Her voice trailed off as she sensed someone she knew them.

"I thought you had left." she said, not looking at him. She could see him, but she didn't want to turn to him. "And here you are." She studied the room. "We don't have long before they send in more people. If we can block the door..." she trailed off again. "Lupe, Tugoro, be ready to take out any that come through." Turning to [member="Ki'an Karr"], she motioned to the door. "See if you can seal that shut. And if any of you can get support, do it. We need it."

Tsolan's boots tapped against the ground as he entered the battlefield, a black and red fox mask adorned over his face and his body covered by the Shadow Fox armor. As he walked, he focused on his rage and hatred, expelling it from his body in a dark miasma. If he was to finally reveal himself to the jedi, he might as well do it in a big way. Then again, there was a large likely hood that he initially wouldn't be recognized as his colors had been changed from the blues and golds to blacks and reds. Not to mention his force aura was currently covered in pure darkness, leaving little to no recognizable form of the Vulpesen that had previously been known. This was the debut of Darth Tsolan. "It is time."

Lupe knew it was coming from her, the whole 'you were leaving poodoo'.

"Why can't people just respect that I'm still here." Lupe pondered.

He took out his flask and took a swig. He grunted and nodded, stretching his arms.

"First Sith I see... well... Is going to be severed from the eco system."

Lupe was ready for battle. That was all; he could have his reunion with his, well, old peers later.

The Jedi Knight slowly turned around when he sensed his Padawan coming closer, and he turned around, evident quite obvious in his stance. "I never said to return to me. Continue to stay there." He didn't know Ossus as well as he knew the Tython Temple, because of that, he figured there could be secret entrances anywhere within the Temple, and with the defection of Daella Apparine, the person who had apparently created the Temple, she could have been within the temple and they wouldn't even know it.

"Go. Back." This was an important situation, and he didn't need his Padawan to be running back and forth before what he suspected was the battle. He had heard that Tyton's Archives had been raided, but he hadn't been discovered at that time. If he was right, they were there to raid the Archives again and steal practically everything else. "Wait, search for anything... Sith-like." He said, and then he turned back to the hallway.

"Sith. Here"? Hawke was as surprised as the person telling her this. They flew around the galaxy to strike their back door. Dammed if she was going to let them get away with this. Hawke took pride that these sectors were in part watched over by her. It was going to be a slap in the face if they accomplished whatever mission they were on. "Well whats central command doing about it"?! Things were in disarray. But this wasn't even a half hour in. Things were going to be panic and chaos. "Well you tell them I'm going to take what I can and bring it to the fight". Hawke slammed down the comm and ran off to organize an attack force.

What she mustered wasn't an army. But three gunships and thirty soldiers were better then nothing. They took off from a small airbase for the battle at the temple. They flew so low the trees nearly touched the hull. Minutes ticked by, Hawke's grip turned sweaty. She did fear real combat. One should have some fear though. As a ship captain she was used to having a hulking ship with shields to protect her. Out here, she needed to play smart and trust in her allies.

The reinforcements gunships peppered the Sith with heavy blaster fire as they buzzed over and made for the LZ in the Republic perimeter. First priority is to find whoever is in charge here. Hawke and her troops disembarked and made their way into the temple. Fighting seemed to be mostly from one direction, they were opposite to its location. The gunships immediately took off after unloading to go assault the Sith on the far side. The Republic controlled the skies, and soon they'd gain control of the ground.

Running deeper into the temple; Hawke and her thirty encountered [member="Zaren Bouqi"]. First person to look like they held a command. "Ahh aJedi. Commander Hawke Katamirth. Who's in charge of the defense"?

Knowing here her place was in the squad she would be the follower always never the leader. Even so she couldn't help but feel like today those that need to be killed off would get their due. Finding herself readying already cheeking all the weapons on her body. Those was just be for protected she wouldn't really be in the fighting. After all she was the one what could patch them up if it got bad. With the sith involved that wouldn't take much. Those that wanted to put others down take away their freedom need to be taken care of one and for all. "Lets get those suckers make sure they don't hurt any more innocents ."

The Jedi Knight turned his head to look at [member="Hawke Katamirth"] when she came down the hallway towards him. Upon Teta he had still been a Jedi General, but he didn't show any form of identification upon his armour. That wasn't a problem however, he still regarded her with the crispness of a commanding officer and said, "Commander. Until the Jedi Grandmaster, or Headmaster Vosra makes their presence known I will be assuming temporary command here. Once Master Vosra is present within the engagement, he will be in charge." The Jedi Knight said simply. Orders said quick and clearly, loud enough for even those further away to hear him.

A General's voice.

"My Apprentice and I are protecting the information within the Archives. I fear that's why the Sith are here, I have come to understand there was a similar attack upon Tython. If you could send a handful of men to aid my Padawan in it's defense, you will be doing us a great honour, Commander."

"Right away," and ran back to the archives. Pretty simple what his job was: search anything that was Sith related or was part of the dark side. He did and began going through the archives, making sure that no Sith were in there.

Qun Vell

Qun Vell was alone in the training room, working with his dual double blades and trying to figure out how best to utilize his advantage in arms while suddenly a youngling, a small togruta that had seen eight, perhaps nine cycles.

"CHAOS! DARKNESS! DESTRUCTION!" The young Togruta boy screamed, before charging at Qun like a rapid dog. Qun quickly deactivated his saber, folding them before putting them in his belt as the child stampeded towards him. With a strong meaty lower hand he grabbed at the togruta's arm, then another with his lower right. From there he took a third hand and thumbed open her mouth, careful not to be bit. With his fourth he reached into his pocket, unveiled his flask, and began pouring his whiskey into the child. After a few sips the poor boy's tolerance was shot, and he was stumbling, even being held by the Besalisk. From there Qun let the child go, who attempted to charge him again but stumbled as he did so. A few more steps and he collapsed to the ground, sleeping like a babe. Lightweight.

Downing the rest of his flask Qun readied himself. Unlike many of his Jedi brethren he couldn't feel the Force. Unless he was drunk that was. Keeping an eye out he found that the youngling he encountered was much the same as the others, ranting and rabid. This was not good. One 'possessed' youngling was an oddity, something to try find the trail of. A dozen were a sign of an attack, but this . . . this was nearly all of them. Someone was coming. Something was coming, and Qun would need to be prepared.

"Qun Vell Report." He said as he activated his emergency comlink, hopefully speaking to other Jedi in the temple that hadn't succumbed to the darkness. "Young crazy. Attempting lock down. Want help. And Orders. And booze." He said on the line as he began going room to room, examining those inside and locking off any crazed younglings he found, quarantining them. They needed help, but not the sort Qun Vell could give. Qun Vell could only hope a healer of some strength would come, but chances were there'd be battles waged before that came. Best to seal them off from themselves, or whatever monsters lurked in the shadows.

Blessed are the peacemakers
Younglings. Padawans. A few knights. Dropped around Tracyn, and he hadn't even moved much. He moved with such fury, and such grace at the same time. They all seemed to fall over at once. About six of them. Tracyn looked upwards. And grimaced.

"What a cowardly, pathetic attempt."

He felt disappointed in the Sith, in all honesty. He leaned forward, pressing a thumb to his throat communicator."Tracyn, reporting in."

A hulking figure came alongside that of Sister Junra. A sigil seared into the center of his forehead marked him a member of the One Sith, branded a slave to the Dark Lord. He had saved him from death, had he not? Only fitting that Orcus should now serve him. Better in chains of loyalty than in fiery bondage in the depths of the Netherworld, where the gnashing of teeth and the wails of the damned provided a symphony of unceasing sorrow.

The Herglic's black eyes glanced at his Sister, then at the wave of stormtroopers pushing their way through the high grass and tropical terrain. When he looked back at [member="Darth Junra"], she was gone. Orcus sucked in a deep breath and nodded his squat head but once, then he pressed forward and into the forefront of the fray. Here he would be at home in his natural state of battle. His species did not understand the sheer might they were capable of, or perhaps they did and thus shunned it in fear. Fools.

The Temple loomed above the jungle canopy, tall and foreboding. A place of knowledge once, now the abode of fools.

Orcus stretched out muscle laden arms to the sky and activated his great saber. The crimson blade sprang to life, double the length of normal lightsabers and a bit wider too. A large lightsaber for a large warrior. Wrapping his flipper firmly about the hilt, Orcus charged forward, passing through ranks of stormtroopers and running not with grace, but with the feral speed of a lumbering Reek.

Jumping into the fight of Ossus, he was late, as usual. "Am I gonna have to wait in line?!" He yelled out in the middle of the battlefield the idiot had ran into. His orange saber was ignited, and ready to kill someone.

Ki'an turned back to the others just as [member="Lupe Baracka"] came walking up. Ki'an bowed his head to the recently appointed Jedi Knight, "Lupe." Ki'an said. He hadn't had much of an opportunity to get to know the Jedi and regretfully, their only real meeting had been a while back when Lupe and Tugoro had fought, resulting in the loss of Tugoro's hand. While Ki'an was unsure of the odd Jedi, he was grateful for the help.

Ki'an turned his attention to Anarya who was taking charge. Ki'an smiled at his friend. She continued to impress him when they had occasion to work together. She issued a series of orders, one of which was for Ki'an to seal the entrance to the main hall. Ki'an walked over and closed the large stone slab with the security console on the side and then drove his lightsaber blade through the box. It would keep the door from being able to be opened electronically, at least for a time. A lightsaber could still cut through the door, but they would know the enemy was coming, as the doors were strong and would take time to cut through.

Turning back Ki'an eyed the room. There were several other entrances throughout. Running off, Ki'an contnued to close the doors and destroy the consoles one by one. When he came to the last door, he stopped and considered his options. That door lead deeper into the Jedi compound. He would leave it open as an escape route, just in case. It wouldn't leave them open to a flanking maneuver as it didn't lead to the outside. Though conceivably, the enemy could still make their way to that door, it would take time and Ki'an hoped there would be others further inside to defend the conclave.

"I've sealed the doors....with the exception of one....just in case." Ki'an said, smile solemnly beneath his mask and turning off his lightsaber. Ki'an eyed his friends and squared his shoulders. He was glad they were here, he couldn't ask for a finer group of Jedi to fight beside. Ki'an felt that the four of them wouldn't be alone for long. He could feel the darkness outside growing. It clouded his senses with its oppressive darkness.
