Lessons in the force

The force as a weapon, being guided by the user instead of as a force that guided it’s users. If that were the case then it meant that someone could use force lightning, could use a darkside power for good without falling to the darkside. It was a tempting idea, one she could see the lure of, use just enough of a power to incapacitate, to knock out her target without killing them. The young woman bit her lip and shook her head, setting the thought aside for later, to think through it when she had more time. Her philosophical musing weren’t why they were here now.

“I can see metal, blood and pain. It’s fear and terror but...acceptance. I see a red saber and a blue one crossing...but it’s not mine. Danger and safety and lots and lots of adrenaline...well I guess it means that life isn’t going to be boring is it?”

"Interesting...Well...If you wish to stop the vision now, You may. You have done fantastic...Asaraa? Interesting...I've never trained a Torgutra before."

He shook his head, feeling a bit woozy at that moment in time. He must of accidentally tapped into her mind as she meditated with her vision, since he was trying to see what she was seeing. "Hmm...Interesting. I apologize for the name drop, Apprentice. Another ability I'm getting used to doing is seeing the same Vision as someone else at the same time. A side effect of that is getting some knowledge about them into your mind...I deeply apologize for that."

He moved over to his other holocrons, gliding his finger across the shelf as he chuckled. He decided that [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] would be a very gifted student under his guidance. She could be just as powerful, if not more powerful in abilities of the Force if she was just guided to the right direction.

Asaraa sat back with a sigh, her shoulders slumping as she let go of the force, feeling the energy and tension draining out of her body as she sucked in a deep breath. The reached up, clenching and unclenching her fists in front of her face as she blinked, taking a long moment to recover from the after-effects of the vision before she tilted her head to the side, stretching her arms out in front of her as she shot a grin at the master.

"Wait really? You saw the vision too? That's like telepathy right, a really really specific form of telepathy. I don't know how..."

The Togruta's voice trailed off as she stared at the man, her brow furrowed in thought.

"Don't worry about, seriously, just you know don't go sharing anything you found in there around. Waaait, a lot of fighting is about sensing the future and reacting to that...are you telling me you can sense what they sense? That'll give you a huge tactical advantage."

The padawan glanced around, her back straightening as she tapped the force ever so slightly to refresh herself. She could see this force sense coming in useful, especially if she mastered it ot the point where it wasn't so draining.

"It wasn't on purpose. I would recommend not trying that unless you have a master level of experience with using the Force to see through the Future.

He moved over to the shelves again, looking at a old looking holocron. Older than the others, by the cracks and chips were out of it. It was also smaller than all the others, and when he touched it, it glowed a grey colour, unlike the others which would be blue or red. For the first time in this conversation, he went from smiling, to frowning, keeping his eyes on the holocron, even if he was blind.

"This choice is yours...but if you would like me to train you as a full on Apprentice, then I'd be glad to, Asaraa."

"Well, I guess I need to practice on that a little, I could see how useful it could be in the future...and I don't even need to use to force to sense the future to figure that out."

The Padawan grinned at Dopi, her eyes tracking him as she watched him fiddling with his collection of Holocrons. The look on his face though, the smile vanishing from his face sent a shiver of ice running down her spine as she stepped closer to the man.

"What's wrong?"

Asaraa's blue eyes flicked from the man's face to the holocron grasped in his hands as her brow furrowed, something didn't seem right at all. For the first time in the situation, the man didn't seem quite so sure of himself.

"Every person has a back story, a history...a past. My parents taught me from this holocron. my first lessons were from this...It was given to me as inheritance when they passed away. I plan to open my quarters to younglings to train them through this...just basic tapping into the force, and how to use just some basic training.

He chuckled and smiled again, going over to the door and opens it, before going back to the center of the room, and goes back to what he was doing before she entered.

"If you have any other questions or anything else you wish to be taught, then ask away, Asaraa."

[member="Asaraa Vaashe"]

"I think that's a great idea! I know I loved those lessons when I was younger. If you need any help teaching them?"

The Padawan was all grins as she stepped up to the man's side, staring over at the Holocron he'd been playing with beneath his fingers. She closed her eyes briefly, reaching out through the force as he'd taught her.

"I will, I mean unless you know the secret way to gain great power without any sacrifice? Or the ability to sense other's mind, connect with them...someone I met it was like he was forming a bond with me, just by being there, whenever I touched the force he seemed to be there so I could sense him. That seems like a useful ability, that connection to have, if you're on a mission you could communicate almost silently with one another."

The young woman's voice was light, playful as she regarded the man, a smile pulling at her lips.

"And thank you for the offer Master, I will think about it, I promise. But if I can help you with anything, please do let me know."
