Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

The weather of Alzoc III was truly terrible.

Never ending snowstorms covered the world in thick and deep snow that was impossible to tell if it led to a deep pit or a patch of ice. Along with this, the climate was incredibly harsh and cold, leading to little to no life existing on the planet aside from the native Talz. Etheriud wrapped his cloak around himself in a desperate attempt to keep warm; the snow blurring his vision. Rumors had circulated in a local bar that there was an old Sith outpost where texts were kept on Sith rituals and experiments on the Talz. Curious, Etheriud had set out to discover these ruins to further his knowledge.

Instead, Etheriud only met cold temperatures and terrible snow. He could feel it however; the powerful presence of dark side energies. The evening sun no longer produced blinding light which allowed for a bit faster travelling. Etheriud’s steps made deep prints in the snow as he trecked, the presence growing closer and stronger. Etheriud stopped and peered into the distance, a faint red light glowing, indicating his closeness to his goal. Etheriud sighed and continued his march towards the faint light. Etheriud began to mutter under his breath as he continued his slow march towards the faint red light.

"Man, this planet really sucks."

As Etheriud continued to march, he found solace from the cold in his thoughts; where he was running through the scenarios that could occur as he drew closer. Would there be ancient Sith monsters lurking in the shadows? A Sith cult that had been lost on the planet? He did not know, and he did not wish to know. All that Etheriud knew was that he was going to find something powerful, and something useful.

Alzoc III: A frozen world with little hospitality to any form of life, the temperature was easily -40° as Korogum waged through the harsh environment, every step like a battle against the intense winds. As a native of the frozen hell-scape, Korogum felt little of the cold, and the wind was a mere nuisance.

Korogum reflected on the events that had transpired within the short period of the week, "Free at last after 7 long years with those bastards, but now that I'm free, I have no idea what to do..." He thought of this as he continued to trek through the hostile terrain. Suddenly Korogum sensed a dark presence, similar to that of the Cultists. Reminded of the torment he had suffered, Korogum let loose a wave of dark energies in bitter resentment, creating a large red glow that settled into the air of the terrain around him. He surprised himself in doing this and his anger was replaced with intrigue. Confused about the event, he thought to himself, "These powers keep coming and going, and they seem to be based on my emotions. Perhaps I can learn to harness and wield this immense strength, and maybe then I will be shown what it is I should do with my freedom..." He trailed off in thought as he looked at his hand, and then lowered it again as he felt the presence drawing nearer to him. "It must be more Cultists, I'll slaughter them for what they did to me." As he said this out loud, he clenched his fist and started moving toward the dark presence.

As Korogum approached the Dark presence, he realized there was only one source, and not multiple. This further intrigued him as none of the Cultists had felt this powerful, was it one of their leaders? Perhaps it was an Overseer for their cult. As he finally reached a hillside that was in view of the source of this presence, Korogum saw the being it belonged too: A figure clad in a red robe, with pale white skin and a calm, expressionless look on his face. This figure did not look at all like the rest of the Cultists, and this confused Korogum, causing him to lose himself in thought...

"Hidden power is not found, it is unlocked." This lingered in the mind of Xhinx as he was on his path. As Xhinx traveled nearing wild space he felt a strong urge guiding him towards the arid block of ice named Alzoc III. As if Xhinx was compelled to travel there, he immediately set his destination straight towards the frozen planet.

As Xhinx landed he immediately noticed fields of the grey and white snow-scape blasting the terrain. Xhinx has never had any issues with being cold or hot, let alone being uncomfortable. Xhinx stepped off his ship and scanned the area for any sign of life. He thought to him self "Only these pitiful Talz can be found. It seems I must locate this urge I have on this worthless planet." Though Xhinx's thought may change, he felt no need to be here, yet he continued forward.

Xhinx eventually started feeling this pulsating energy, something he felt familiar. Something he could find in himself. As if he finally found something he could call allegiance in. Xhinx set forth for this essence, this dark essence that could lead to progression in this quest his so secretly had.

"At last, I have recovered my path..."

Writhed with fatigue and frustration after trekking through the galaxy, searching for a dark presence, Xaryus's journey has lead him to the Outer Rim to the harsh icey planet of Alzoc III. As the shuttle lands on a rocky outcrop below, it's almost as if the presence was standing right beside him. He could almost feel the dark power envelop him, and he craved more of this, ever since he first felt this darkness when he was finishing his Trials on Korriban, Oh how he wanted to bask in this Dark force.

Making his way out of the shuttle, the harsh bitter wind hit him "I hate the cold.."
He breathed as he trekked in search of the power he oh so wanted ever since he was an Acolyte.

More and more presences seemed to pop up one-by-one as Etheriud's march slowed. The presence of multiple entities on the planet was easy to sense due to the relative closeness to Etheriud's location. One in particular was very close to Etheriud. He stopped in his tracks, the snow calming down as he looked up at a large hillside; the red light closer than it was before. Etheriud made out a large, towering figure on the hill. Retaining his calm appearance and tone, Etheriud called up to the figure, slowly placing his lightsaber into his hand.

"And who might you be?"

Many thoughts were racing through Etheriud's head as he examined the figure through the lessening snow. Who was this? Was he the cause of all of these other presences appearing so suddenly? These questions seemed to burn into Etheriud's mind as he continued to examine the figure. His armor became more and more visible, showing a grotesque mixture of muscle-like wiring, spikes, and armor that intimidated Etheriud slightly. How could one wield the strength to wear such armor? He surely couldn't be human. Etheriud began to ready his lightsaber in his left hand and his right hand to utilize the force if necessary.

This really wasn't going to be fun.

Korogum remained in thought until the figure had noticed him, and the figures calling out to him caught him by surprise and brought him back to reality. Korogum was at a loss for words, as he has not seen a non-hostile entity for 7 years, he managed to muster up an introduction. "My name is Korogum, and I am journeying to find my purpose in this galaxy." He called back down to the figure questioning him.

Korogum leaped down from the hillside and landed with a thud that was muffled by the thick inches of densely packed snow. "Who are you?" He inquired with indifferent resentment, as he was still unsure of the side this figure was on: His, or his enemies...

By now Xhinx could easily point out vague locations of these entities, there was one nearing him though, Xhinx noticed something in one of the entities, he turned away and looked back at the one close by. Xhinx continued his ominous march in his pure black cloak that stuck out in all this white. He tried to lower his presence for the time being. Someone is near.

Xhinx soon crossed paths with this one entity, a Zabrakian. Xhinx stopped staring at the man, and his ambitious being, similar to that of Xhinx. "Why are you here?" Xhinx questioned the man, trying to get answers out of him, and hoping to find a lead for his own adventure. Xhinx noticed the man was lost, and had a dark side to him. Xhinx, without revealing the full body armor underneath his robes, pointed to the man, as if he was expected something back from him.

"I can scour your mind, don't hide anything from me."

"So you're one of the presences i sensed." Said Xaryus as he tried to maintain a calm composure infront of the Sith Lord.
Fear started to eat away at the Acolyte's courage. What would this Strange Sith do? Would he be irritated that he'd been almost following him all these years? "I have nothing to hide..."
Xaryus said as he reached for his Saber.
He had no idea who this strange Sith was, but he knew for a fact that he was the presence he'd sensed, he also knew tnat if anyone was going to help him further his Dark side abilities, it was going to be him.
Even so, Xaryus braced himself.

The intimidating figure answered, to the surprise of Etheriud. Etheriud placed his lightsaber on his belt and resumed a calm position, stepping back slightly as the man hopped down from the hill towards him. The snow crunched as Etheriud took his step back, his slight fear beginning to show. As the man asked his question, Etheriud became hesitant for a moment. Why would he need to know his name? To not be rude, Etheriud gave his answer.

"I am one who seeks knowledge. My name is Etheriud."

Etheriud looked at the thing that stood before him; the mass of armor that he hoped held a man inside. The armor itself was enough to intimidate him. If it were revealed that inside was machine and no emotional restrictions, Etheriud would truly be afraid. This man held the presence of a Lord and would receive the respect of one from Etheriud due to simply his stature and powerful appearance. Yet still Etheriud knew this man wasn't the source of the other presences he felt. They were here somewhere... Was he hiding them? Etheriud began to once again lower his arms down to his cloak to ready himself in case this man proved to be dangerous.

Korogum couldn't see any trace of fear on the being who identified himself as Etheriud, but nonetheless, he could feel it somehow. Somewhere in the back of his mind he could sense that his appearance inspired fear in this figure, and even stranger to Korogum, it made him feel stronger just knowing this. Regardless of this sensation, Korogum knew that this figure was not part of the Cultists organization, and was thus not his enemy. Now that Korogum had ceased his focus on the figure, his senses broadened again and he suddenly felt two presences closing in on their location. "Do you feel them too Etheriud? What are these sensations I am feeling, it's almost like I can see beings that are not even here." He explained to the figure, clenching his fist in frustrated confusion as to what was happening to him.

With a feeling of contempt, Xhinx ignored the man, looking at the other presences, noticing that have met, Xhinx turned back to the man and compelled him to follow.

"Perhaps I can rediscover my past." Xhinx thought in high hopes. Closely watching this one presence that pulled him onto this planet. "Come let us hurry onward. What do you call yourself?" Without delay Xhinx, by the side of the man quickly moved towards the other entities. Xhinx was starting to feel accomplished, as if he is getting closer and closer to his ultimate goal...

"I am Xaryus" he said as he lowered his saber, And started to follow the Sith.
He felt as if he had found the entity, but there was something else there..
As if hidden amongst the snow..Xaryus could feel the presence of another, no..
Two more presences. "Yes..let's move on" he said as he trekked through the snow.

The man's question intrigued Etheriud. Due to him having spent most of his time around intellectuals, he had never heard of someone not knowing about the force. He could see the man was clearly antagonized by the newfound abilities that seemed to plague him. Etheriud didn't wish to see this man angry so he immediately began to answer as soon as the man stopped speaking.

"Yes, I sense them as well. While my knowledge of it is very slim, what you are experiencing is the force and one of the many abilities it offers."

Etheriud began to recall the texts he had read on-board pirate ships and smuggler outposts that held old Sith relics that were raided when the old Empire collapsed. He had learned about the name of this power that flowed through individuals and some of the many abilities it offered. While never given the chance to learn or practice them, he remembered that sensing was a given skill to any user of the force. This man, however, must have been isolated from this knowledge. Was he a brute? Was he a failed experiment? Etheriud began to wonder as he gazed out into the distance, noticing how the other presences had begun to move out. Intrigued, Etheriud too began to set out towards the direction of the presences.

"They're moving, and we should follow suit. Stay close and keep your guard up, we know not what or who these individuals are."

Etheriud's cloak flapped behind him as the wind gusted, his face never leaving that same old calm and emotionless look.

Korogum followed the solemn figure through the icy wastes towards the other two presences, keeping a steady distance between himself and the one named Etheriud, allowing him to his thoughts without the need for idle chatter between the two. "This Force he was talking about, is that what these powers are? This Etheriud seems to have knowledge of it, and if he does, others must. Perhaps I can learn more about this Force from him and others." He thought to himself, as the presences they felt grew closer and closer until they were a few mere meters away from them, but the blasting icy winds shielded the sources from sight. His eyes racing over the pieces of the white veil as it blasted around them, Korogum desperately attempted to make the figures clear to his eyes, but to no avail. The presences had ceased their movement just as Korogum and Etheriud had, neither moving forward, waiting for the other to do so perhaps? Korogum grew impatient with the entire process and trudged forward to meet the two presences proudly...

At last Xhinx encountered this entity. A strange, yet potential one, Xhinx immediately sent out a shock wave to push away all this snow, so he could see their faces. A masked one, just like Xhinx. Xhinx was looking contently at the masked one, noticing how he was similar to Xhinx. This man had something unique to him...

"My name is Xhinx." Xhinx declared as he took down his hood, to reveal his full helmet. "You two are?"

Xaryus, stunned for a moment at the power of the man raced up to stand a few feet away.
But remained quite as he saw the two figures. These must be the entities he sensed, he could almost feel the
midochlorian surging through their blood.
"These men, i've sensed their presence before.."
He said as he removed his hood aswell.

Trying to keep his composure, he stood back as he watched his new master.

Etheriud came to a stop next to the man he had just met, peering up to see a masked figure and a hooded Zabrak. As the masked man spoke, Etheriud began to feel that this man was one who demanded respect and was one who wielded power. Etheriud examined Xhinx from his position, able to faintly make out his mask and cloak. Etheriud then gazed upon the Zabrak who donned clothing similar to Etheriud's. The Zabrak was obviously the apprentice of Xhinx as could be seen by his current position behind his master.

"I am Etheriud Yvvera. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Etheriud continued examining the new figures and began to contemplate why they had come as well. Perhaps they had heard the same rumors he had, or perhaps they were just bored. The cold began to once again upset Etheriud, making him eager to finish up with introductions and leave if possible.

Korogum had heard none of the small talk that was exchanged between the man he had just met and these two newcomers, as the moment he had spotted the ominous one's apparel, Korogum had lost any sense of reason. For the man wore a cloak very similar to his own, which he had acquired from a dead cultist, and if this newcomer wore the same cloak, then he must be one of them. With this line of thought, Korogum began to feel an unbridled sense of rage, and even his own composure surprised him, as he had not gone into a frenzy at the mere thought of meeting another cultist, instead his body had started to permeate with a red mist, that seeped from the fabric of his cloak and metals of his armor. Korogum did not notice this nor much of anything else as he was consumed by a powerful hatred in those few moments. Whoever this Xhinx was, Korogum was determined to end him if he attempted anything that could even remotely be perceived as a threat. Korogum did not notice this red aura as it continued to seep from his body, let alone that it was simply an immense concentration of power.

As Xhinx noticed this sudden burst of energy, all he could think was "Hidden power is not found, it is unlocked." He deeply stared at and studied this physical manifestation of energy, and instantly knew he was brought here for a reason. After a few seconds of studying this aura, Xhinx noticed an intense rage burning deep inside this unique man. "If you wish to fight, I would not recommend that. Is it these robes you seem to be wearing the same robes..." Xhinx thought this man might have a connection to his own past. "Etheriud Yvvera, who is this man?"

Xaryus remained quite but observed the man.
What was he? What was that red Aura? Who was this monster? He took a quick glance at his master,
He could sense what Xhinx was thinking...This man was dangerous..extremely.
He took a step back as not to get drawn into whatever was about to happen.
"If this is where God's clash..i feel it will have disastrous consequences"
