The great difficulty of the Rimward Trade League, Alana had found, was its decentralization. There was no central Jedi temple like she had been used to, or started on Dremulae. Instead, the Pilgrims moved, connected by their pendants for Force-based communication, and the Light Hand were scattered to the stars, or on their monastery in Qi-Ko. It was excellent for what they tried to do, but Alana found it lacked the connectedness with each other that helped form a community.

So, she had made some holocalls, called some favors, and reserved a backroom of the cantina in the trade station in orbit above Susefvi. Word had gone out and she had invited any of those who considered themselves part of the Circle of Light. Wardens of the Sky, despite their insistence they didn't exist. Jensaarai, also despite their insistence they didn't exist. Matukai, Jedi Pilgrims, Light Handers, all the fringe sects of the Light that could be found in the Outer Rim.

If they were going to work together, they had to know each other. At least a little bit. They were a bit like bounty hunters that way. Knowing each other's reputations only went so far. And was not conducive to actually forming a functioning community.

She plunked a crate of pastries and tarts on the table against where the cantina wall joined with the exterior hull with a floor to ceiling transparisteel viewport. In the distance, Suarbi shone orange and violet as the sunlight radiated off the gas giant, and countless moons around them. Below, the lights of Yumfla shone as the moon went through its night cycle. Aboard the station, the lights were dimmed, but not all the way, indicating the transition phase between station night and station day. Murmured chatter filtered in through the door from the main room and soft jatz music from the band on the stage.

Alana doubted most of the patrons would be thrilled to hear there was basically a Jedi convention going on in the back, since most didn't care much for the nuance between ideologies and organizations. Which there were going to be many and Aeshi Tillian had agreed to attend, which Alana had a feeling could cause problems. But then, one of the many, many Tillian cousins would be there too, so perhaps he would smooth out the rough edges.

As the door slid open, Alana looked up and smiled. "Welcome to the Starfire! I'm glad you could make it! I'm Alana Sunrider. Come on in and make yourself at home. I'm glad we've had the chance to get as many of us together as possible. I felt it would be crucial to improve how well we can work together for the Outer Rim. Can you tell us a bit more about you?"

Pash should not have been surprised that he had found no roots. From his unfortunate debacle in the Outer Rim, to his rehabilitation, to his short time with the Silver Jedi, to a number of other groups and organizations he encountered across the galaxy, none of them stuck. But that was his heritage. His parents were Matukai, and called no world home. Why, if he were to carry on their legacy, ,would he live any different?

Nevertheless, when he received the message through a channel with the Circle of Light, whom he had also once visited, Pash could not deny his interest in the curious meeting. The Skull, the dilapidated Y-Wing that was his only true asset, was set to jump to Susevfi system.

Pash chose to wear his Matukai garments, he had nothing else to speak of anyway, and did not neglect to bring his Wan-Shen sheathed on his back, the shaft collapsed. He found the trade station's cantina easy enough, and was guided to the entrance of the back room. There a group was already gathering, a mix of not only species, but certainly of disciplines. The one they they were all suppose to have in common was that which bound all things together, the Force.

The door opened and a woman greeted them. Pash assumed it was Sunrider herself, the source of the invitation they all had received. With the others, Pash entered the waiting chamber, finding a place along the wall, watching as others came in. Alana shared a quick reminder of why she had arranged the gathering, seemingly intent to start off with some meet and greet.

Pash had thought the concept of the gathering a good idea since he first heard of it. They were all working with noble purpose, how much more good could be done with a little collaboration and communication? When Alana asked for someone to start the introductions, Pash took a step forward, one hand on his hip, the other lifted casually to get Alana's attention.

"I'm Pash Tafo. My parents were Makos and Kia Tafo, Matukai Adepts. They raised me in that tradition, which I attempt to follow faithfully. For those unfamiliar, such adepts employ certain physical rituals to tune our connection to the Force and most of those things we can do through the Force affect our physical state, or that of others." Pash explained, hoping not to offend those who were familiar with his Force discipline.

Caedyn Arenais was among those who had received the call and invitation to join the other members of the Circle of Light, the various Jedi and other Force Practitioners who sought to aid the Outer Rim Territories in however manner they were capable. The Repertoire had arrived in a timely manner and docked with the vast Space Station, and from there the robed figure would make his way towards the designated Cantina where the rest of the party was presumably waiting.

Caedyn's status among Force Practitioners in the Galaxy today was rather less specific than his role had been in the past years; Still to this day he continued to mind over the Jedi Enclave on the neighbouring world of Svivren, yet he didn't consider himself to be a direct part or associate of the Jedi any longer. His values and beliefs had not shifted, but rather he had remained true to the teachings of the old Je'daii Order and the more he tried to ignore the actions of the larger Organizations in the Galaxy today, the more his differences had stood out to him, thus providing a sense of discomfort and distance from his peers back within the Order of the Silver Jedi, or when compared to those of the New Jedi Order situated within the Galactic Alliance. This wasn't a fault of theirs, of course, merely a difference or set of differences within Caedyn's own experience and personal growth as a disciple of the Force.

Entering the Cantina, he had first approached the bar before being directed to the rear room that had been reserved for them by Alana Sunrider Alana Sunrider . Nodding in appreciation and making his move to enter the room at the back of the establishment, Caedyn would find that only two of them had arrived thus far. He was earlier than he had intended to be. Better than being late, mind you.

"Greetings all" Caedyn said, offering a bow of his head in respectful greeting, "My name is Caedyn Arenais, of the Enclave of Svivren".

She had probably lived a Rim centric life for as long as the Sunrider. Kaia, unlike her brother, was born starside, and that meant she was out here longer than anyone else, longer than most, more intimately than even her brother and father. She loved the Rim, she loved what the Trade League was trying to do, and that meant with the Pilgrims and the Circle. Kaia herself was a Warden, and that was as much as she needed to be. A Jedi trained Warden of the Sky. When Alana made the call, knowing that Kaia was always going to publicly refer to herself as Jedi and not a Warden but making no real attempt to hide her extra-curriculars as a Warden, but well, she was in the circles of Starchasers and Merrills.

It meant one thing.

Still, she made her way to the station above Susevfi, where a few others had been called and arrived. She saw a familiar face in Peyton Steele, though she doubted the other woman would perk up too much. But when Alana finally entered, Kaia took another bite of her pastry and watched the gathered.

There was at least one that she knew, Arenais was a family that went back with her own. “Hey.” She gave a little wave. “Names Kaia Starchaser. Jedi, daughter of well, y’know, Coren.” She laughed and shook her head. “Yeah, hey.” The dark haired Mirialan spoke.

By the time she had finished her introduction, her father’s protégé, or whatever, the blonde (Peyton) that helped the Underground out had made her way over, gave a brief introduction as well. Another Matukai, Peyton had kept an eye out and on Pash Tafo while she spoke. Peyton came to the Force a bit differently, almost awakened into it by the Matukai.

“Yeah, two of us worked Underground… Work Underground?” Kaia added after Peyton spoke.

"Matukai!" Alana said, beaming as the first person spoke. "There's not a lot of them that I've ever run across, but it has always been a delight to learn what little I could from them. I've always been fascinated by what the Matukai have been able to accomplish. It's something Jedi could have always learned from."

She poured hot chocolate into a thermos and cradled it in her hand as Caedyn spoke. She waved. "Pretty sure we met before at some point, but good to see you again Caedyn. And the same to you two, Kaia and Peyton. Always good to run into Undergrounders again."

Alana considered as others filtered in and she greeted them too. "So Pash, how'd you end up over in this part of the galaxy?"

Cryx ran a hand through his hair as stepped through the door. It had been a long time since he operated openly as his own person. Terminus had been dangerous to be a Tillian for a while, certainly one with ties to the Coalition intelligence apparatus, but it was his home.

He had done deep undercover for a long time, an assumed name, an assumed face even. But that was gone and the Terminus Free Republic establishing itself again and becoming functional again. No more greedy corporate execs selling them out or letting crime run free because it profited them.

No, it was a people's government now, and he was no longer needed there. His commission in the Free Terminus Militia temporarily put on hiatus until they needed him again. And, so, he had gone to stay with family, until this message had filtered through ORION and Rebellion and Jensaarai channels.

It was something many people never knew about the Outer Rim. It was more closely connected through informal ties than many suspected the far flung frontier of the galaxy to be. Family ties, commercial ties, ideological ties. All of these formed a network that had for decades been the cornerstone of the Rim before various governments began to create formal ties building on these established relationships. It was the only way Cryx could see the League working.

To the rest, he gave a nod as he poured a shot-glass of whiskey. "Cryx Tillian. Various odds and ends of Force traditions and ideologies. Mostly I spy."

=====================================

Caedyn smiled and greeted each of them when they'd acknowledge his presence there. Each of these individuals held their own connections and potential strengths that they could, and perhaps already had been offering the Outer Rim Territories.
For he himself, Caedyn was flexible in terms of where he could be in the Rim, not needing to remain or visit the Enclave regularly for the establishment to remain in full swing and running smoothly. No longer committed to calling himself a Jedi Knight, he had chosen to return to his older origins so that he might no longer be restrained by the connections his former order had to the political stage of the Galaxy.
Instead, there in the Outer Rim Territories, he had the independence to act as he chose for the interests of the people without being weighed down by jurisdictions that were out of his hands.

Having been a part of the Outer Planets Alliance, he could clearly see a significant difference in the number of personnel working today with the Tillian Family Enterprise. In time, it was Caedyn's hope that they too would grow alongside the Rimward Trade League, and all parties come to form a renewed establishment capable of the protection and regulated trade for the region, bringing stability to the people, and providing for them the equal standards of living that other worlds closer to the core were afforded.

Kaia Starchaser Kaia Starchaser was a familiar face of course! Caedyn hadn't had a lot of interaction with her in the past but he certainly did know her Father well and was glad to see her present there today. "Nice to see you again Kaia" He replied to her greeting with a warm and friendly smile, lowering his head in that formal show of respect that he was prone to sharing with other Force User's, most commonly Jedi.
The Starchasers had long been friends of House Arenais thanks to the relationship between Coren and Caedyn's father, Veiere Arenais. The Starchasers were better known to the wider public, and Caedyn had great respect for them, not simply due to his father's history with them but also having trained Coren's other daughter Kyra Perl Kyra Perl of whom had been a deeply valued and pivotal part of his life back when he still served in the Order of the Silver Jedi. He hadn't had any contact with his former student in a great deal of time now, though he did often think about her and wonder what life was like for her now since she had struck out on her own. She had held an impact upon his life that would never be forgotten, nor able to be replaced by another.

Cryx Tillian Cryx Tillian soon introduced himself and Caedyn turned to listen, standing with his fingers laced, hands at his front, eager to hear more from his peers. Hopefully, these individuals would come to form the foundations of a new organization and future government within the Outer Rim Territories. How he might be of equal service to either of them, Caedyn was more than happy to support in their shared desire in the Rimward Trade League's prospective future.

The Outer Rim was a big place, bordered by Wild Space and the Unknown Regions. Word traveled slowly in some areas and even when it arrived quickly travel itself took time. When Audren had received news of the gathering he'd been on the way back from business prospects in what had formerly been Sith space almost halfway across the galaxy. A few leads, nothing nearly as big as he'd been hoping. Hopefully some of the probes they sent out would return a good signal and make up for the cost of the trip. Two or three would be better.

It was a relatively simple matter to continue on to Susevfi, though he couldn't recall having been there before. Along the way he stopped to switch ships; he'd crossed the galaxy in a starfighter before and while he still would if needed much preferred not to. Besides, the time spent switching away from the large starfighter was very much outstripped by the time saved by the second ship's improved hyperdrive, hyperflight time was nearly quartered in fact. Thus the Tínen Sûl docked with the large trade station the Jedi just about on time and the only real delay was getting to the right cantina. He slipped into the back room as Pash was introducing himself, specifically catching the name as the door slid open.

Others were already present, obviously. Some of them he knew or had met already, such as Caedyn and Kaia, while others he was getting to know for the first time. It seemed to be a healthy mix that introduced themselves: Matukai and Jedi, or in Caedyn's case not claimed. That was interesting in and of itself, he'd called himself a Jedi at prior shared events. The clothing styles indicated there might be other groups present as well, and certain names indicated familial ties. His particular clothing without tabards or visible armor plates would fit in with any of a dozen groups including many business meetings, and with his lightsaber hilt barely visible in its belt sheathe rather than hanging openly very few in the halls of the station had given him a second glance.

"Audren Sykes, Jedi."

Technically it was Jedi Master, but titles could get onerous. Plus he'd never actually taken a Padawan learner. He supposed he theoretically could call himself a Jedi Wayseeker now that he was involved in the fringes so many Jedi groups and beholden to none, but that was another title he'd held off on. Better to simply be Jedi and let the rest come up if and when it did. He was a business owner as well but not here to try to sell. Besides, many of the others he recognized were tied into businesses also: Tillian Family Enterprises, Starchaser Enterprises, even Arenais had a business or a few. There was no need lie if the subject arose, and if he made something that could help he wouldn't stay silent about it.

He was curious to see where all this would go.

It was nice to come in from the cold of the void every now and again. Kaia Starchaser was much like her family, Coren and Jared were members of many different flags, but they all came back to being a Jedi, just with their own unique bend. That was Kaia as well. A Jedi, a Light Hand, and most importantly, a Warden. She felt like the Outer Rim forced people to be members of different Orders, of different, but similar flags. She worked with so many different people, including her companion today, Peyton. But the important part? She knew most of the people that were at this meeting.

Alana and Caedyn were people she knew, ones that went back in the annals of the galaxy. They were working on the side of the light for many years. Pash, and Cryx were new faces, though she knew the name that followed Cryx’s. As Alana spoke, Kaia nodded.

“Well, someone has to represent them on this turf after all!”
She laughed and ran a hand through her dark hair. Peyton herself, was watching Pash still, she’d want to go speak to him soon. But when the time was right.

“Yeah, I was in the Coalition in the early days, came from the Alliance, but always Underground. Force found me lately… Through luck or happenstance.”
The blonde added as the others spoke.

“Its always a pleasure Caedyn. Can’t hold too many of us in the Core, can they?”
She was, of course, referring to the Silver Concord. Her father was part of it, and she knew the Arenais family worked within their bounds as well. Sykes was another name that she recognized. Even on the Rim, Kaia did her diligence and kept informed of the going ons of the Jedi. “So, what do we have in store for us, Alana?”

The gathering grew, casual and amenable as one after another of the summoned arrived. Their host, Alana, greeted Pash warmly and as each new arrival introduced themselves, Pash offered a smile and a greeting gesture, a head nod, subtle bow, or casual wave of the hand.

Watching curiously, Pash could already see the unique nature of the venture. While one could not judge another merely by clothing, and not confidently on behavior, the variety of those arriving, and their introductions, proved the gathering ito be a diversity of Force disciplines, and in some cases, lack of formal discipline. The Jedi Kaia Starchaser Kaia Starchaser and Audren Sykes Audren Sykes , for example, in contrast to Cryx Tillian Cryx Tillian , who claimed a cocktail of Force practices, while Caedyn Arenais did not directly indicate his at all. It was truly a notable gathering. Pash made a note to meet the eyes of each who introduced themselves, respect among them would be the first key to success.

The one that seemed to catch Pash's attention the most was perhaps the least vocal. Pash believed he caught her introduction as Peyton Steele. Something subtle in her movements was familiar, though he was sure he had not met her before. Also, it was clear he was being studied by her as well. As others splinted into pairs and small groups to chat, Pash made his way to the blonde.

"Pash Tafo." He introduced himself, unsure if Peyton was present to hear his formal introduction, being one of the first to arrive. He studied her again, having the benefit of proximity. Her Force practice was not readily evident by her clothing, but he played on a hunch he had taken from her movement and obvious fitness. "I am Matukai." He added, looking for a reaction.

The door thumped. A few moments later, a solid thud hit the wall from the outside. One more dull bump against the door, and it slid open to reveal a Zeltron from behind.

Yula spun around, all loose limbs and confusion. Her mouth was slack, her eyes were glazed, and it took her a good few seconds to process where she was, like a holonav recalculating a new route.

“Kaia! I found it.” She took a few bold but unsteady steps inside, giving her friend a wide smile. “Don’t worry, I found it.” The previous bender ended on the Mirialan’s ship, and a hungover Yula had waved her off when it was time to join the Jedi Nerd Convention. Not that she had been too keen on going in the first place. Yula had a history with Jedi, and tended to side with them in galactic conflicts, but she did not consider herself to be walking the path of the righteous.

That said, she was still a little drunk.

Gravitating towards the most familiar thing in the room, she draped herself over Kaia, chin resting on the other woman’s shoulder. Now that her bleary gaze could get a good look at the room, she found more faces to be recognizable than not. “Hi Caedyn.” She waved, stretching an arm over Kaia’s shoulder as she did so. “Haven’t seen you come this far ‘rimward in a while. Oh, an hey Peyton! Glad to see you made it to Sunrider’s party too.” She gave the woman of the hour a wink. "Thanks for the invite."

Sykes was another name that stirred her memory, although she couldn’t tie him directly to one place or event. “You uh…Aelvar?” She brushed a hand against her own ear, noting the lack of pointed cartilage. There were a number of races with similar features, but the elven folk of Midvinter were the most familiar to her. If so, interesting that he would travel to the complete opposite edge of the galaxy.

Tillian was also a name that had drifted to her in whispers. Something about it conjured a vague image of an older, distinguished gentleman sipping tea in a peaceable manner, not entirely unlike this young man sipping his whiskey in an equally measured manner. Yula stared for a moment, unabashed, before her single eye moved over to…

Tafo. As in, Aaran Tafo? The blind monk had been a pleasant acquaintance, helpful on the few tasks they’d found themselves working together on. She blinked, shaking the memory of the Jedi from her head and instead focusing on this new Tafo, a man named Pash who she did not recognize. “That guy’s Matukai? Neat.” She mumbled to Kaia, loud enough for anyone in their proximity to hear.

Whenever the flow of the conversation lent itself to an introduction, Yula would slip a few words it. “Yula Perl. I know some of you from the Coalition and OPA days, yeah. I do uh, techie things. Speeders ‘n droids mostly. Sometimes with the, you know, the hocus pocus chit.” She wriggled her fingers for effect.

A beat passed as she absorbed her own words, then made an addendum.

“No offense to the Jedi in the room. You guys are…cool.”

Peyton honestly had her own voice, but sometimes it was just better to bounce off someone that you had a connection with. Sure, her connection was more to Coren, but a Starchaser to a Starchaser in the Force was all the same. Maybe even with that other half-chaser Kyra Perl Kyra Perl . Still, this meeting was along the Rim and Peyton had worked in Intelligence for the Sullust Galactic Alliance on the Rim mostly, moving to the Coalition and OPA as an intelligence gatherer. Following the loss of those two ‘governments’ she found many odd jobs, focusing on the Underground.

But the fact that she was seeming to get more in touch with the Force was important. And that meant it was time to show up to these meet and greets. Kaia had given her an idea of what was going on, but she was more interested in the fact that there was a Matukai out here.

“Matukai taught me… helped me reconnect and strengthen that to the Force…”
She said in @Pash Taro ‘s direction.

What was that smell? Was that Yula's breath? Was... Everything ok with her? "Good seeing you too, Yula!" She smirked and shook her head. This was definitely a... batch.

"Good to have you all!" Alana said, smiling at them all as they announced themselves, even Yula as she staggered in. "Audren, I'm glad to make your acquaintance at last. I'm spent a short time with the Silver Wardens on the edge of Wild Space and heard good things about you. And Yula!" Alana gave another smile as the Zeltrosian stumbled her way in. That was proper Outer Rim Force sects there, although she didn't know the entirety of Yula's history or affiliations. "Always good to have someone who is an expert in technology."

Peyton and Pash were talking Matukai, so she waited to give some time before answering Kaia's question. "I don't have an agenda, per se, but I most wanted everyone to be able to meet as many others as possible. We spend so much time wandering and working independently that we could never meet. I wanted everyone to meet, learn a bit more about each other, exchange comlink codes, to start. Then maybe hash out what the needs are that we all see in the Outer Rim, as well as the needs of each other. Who wishes to learn more or who wishes to take on an apprentice or teach some of our younger, less experienced members?"

Alana considered a moment before considering. "And then possibly something that can help us more effectively communicate and operate. Help get everyone access to transportation who doesn't have any, get them connected to whatever their local resources are, especially local government representatives, Church of the Force chapter-houses and their caretakers. Overall ensure everyone has a solid footing here in the Outer Rim and especially in the League."

Friendly but observant eyes studied Peyton Steele as he introduced himself and his one-word background. Matukai. The hunch he played payed off as the woman acknowledged having Matukai training, though not confessing to be a follower of the discipline. That fact didn't put off Pash. The lines between orders had often hindered successful response to greater evils among Lightsiders. The diversity of the room around him was a testament to the fact that things were changing, those devoted to the Force come in many colors and shapes, and the lines between 'us' and 'them' were blurring. Maybe this effort by Alana Sunrider Alana Sunrider would make them all better prepared for the next dark menace that would inevitably arise. At least, there may be a united front of Force-users in the Outer Rim.

A smile touched Pash's mouth, happy to find someone who was familiar with his way of life, or at least his way with the Force. He hoped to learn more about Petyon's techniques and experience, but the conversation was interrupted when the door to the room slammed open as a cerulean-hued woman entered on unsteady legs. Her voice was louder than necessary, the quality of speech suggesting that the woman had been drinking. Pash watched curiously as the Zeltron staggered to the woman next to Peyton, Kaia Starchaser Kaia Starchaser , her conversation again louder than the she intended. He had to laugh to himself as she commented on the 'Matukai guy', flashing a smile and a small heft of his caf cup to her.

His so recent thoughts on the benefit of diversity was being tested by the new arrival. Does a good mix of Force-users include drunks? Well, maybe it did, who was he to judge anymore?

Finally, the sloshed woman addressed the entire room with a unique greeting. Again, Pash couldn't help but be amused. For some reason, he like this Yula Perl Yula Perl . When Peyton spoke to Yula, Pash leaned closer to his new acquaintance. "Do you know her?" He asked, gesturing at Yula.

Alana then began to reveal her vision for the group assembled, with some basic steps to begin to build relationships and cooperation.

Hi Caedyn. Haven’t seen you come this far ‘rimward in a while" Yula Perl Yula Perl had spoken to him, Caedyn smiling in return as it had indeed been a very long time since they had last run into one another.

"Admittedly I've been back on Svivren for a good while now since leaving Silver Space. My service as a Jedi has taken something of a shift and I've decided to invest my time into the Outer Rim Territories once more, similar to my time in the Outer Planets Alliance" he replied.

It must have been going on a year or more now that he had returned to the Rim. He had done so a little time before Kyra Perl had decided to take her leave of the Jedi Path under his teachings. The many needs of the Outer Rim Territories had helped to keep him busy and avoid dwelling on his failure to see her through to the completion of her training.

"I've been doing a fair bit of work with the Tillian's, as well as the Rimward Trade League as a whole" he added, soon turning to glance back to the others as Alana Sunrider Alana Sunrider began answering the question as to why they'd all been invited to gather there.

Caedyn's interest lay in the Church of the Force where the Outer Rim was concerned overall, yet every one of those present at the gathering represented their own group or organization with varying differences and prospects to offer, thus he was perfectly happy to listen and learn, perhaps with luck even work with some of them in the future, if not all in the best-case scenario.

"The Jedi Enclave on Svivren is open to anyone who would like to visit, whether to teach or to learn from other Jedi who are full-time servants to the Rim Worlds" Caedyn spoke up for all of them to hear the invitation, "The Enclave has something of an open-door policy, with plenty of guest quarters should you need a place of refuge or are simply after a break from your norm".

Much of the attention in the room turned to the thumps at the door...and next to it. Eventually the person on the other side managed to get the door open while facing the wrong way. When she turned it was with limbs far looser than most beings typically allowed, and it seemed to take her a bit to realize where she was. Her steps were along the same vein: stumbling and hesitant while she smiled and talked very loudly at Kaia. And several others, once she had the extra support of the Mirialan's shoulder, those she knew by name. His first thought was that it was a bit early to be drunk, but then again this was an intergalactic waystation. Time zones and circadian rhythms got odd every so often.

His eyebrows shot up for a split second when she asked him if he was one of the Aelvar. He got them under control right quick as he shook his head in the negative but his surprise remained; there weren't many who knew the species though one couldn't have told that by the amount of times he'd been asked if he was one. Heck, he'd never met one. Regardless, maybe he should get a genetic scan done to see whether he should be claiming kinship there. The chances of the databases having an example to compare against would be slim to none though, and advanced genetic testing - or advanced medicine in general - hadn't been a thing the last time he'd been on Midvinter. It would be an interesting conversation with his parents too: "we haven't talked in a decade or more, but I just found out I'm not actually a Sephi, so what the heck?"

His curiosity to how she knew about the Aelvar was answered when she introduced herself. Perl...another family long intertwined with the Heavenshields. He knew of Joza, had been in the Silver Jedi when she was. Didn't think he was that old yet but apparently she had children old enough to be legally drunk. At least three...he was aware of Nida's shenanigans and seemed to remember another Perl in relation to Caedyn. Apparently good with technology - seeming to be a trend - and Force-sensitive. At her not-so-quick cover regarding the hocus pocus and Jedi being cool the Sephi's eyes sparkled and he was tempted to form ice or at least some frost there. He was a mature adult and refrained however.

His head bowed to Sunrider as she explained where she'd heard of him. He wished he could say the same but there were times when his attention to the Silver Concord's activities wavered. He nodded again when she described what her thoughts were for this meeting; it was essentially an Outer Rim light-sider meet and greet. Some of the thoughts he could help with, others he wouldn't be any good at. No full-time learners for him for example, but maybe a lesson here and there. However, he could offer transport to those who needed it - both individually-owned or on company supply runs - as well as some gear and safe houses at an individual level. All of that was being expanded on as time went on too.

"I can assist with transport, safe houses for individuals, and certain kinds of gear.

Tiland slipped inside the hatchway, waving to everyone inside. "I do apologize for being late. I was caught up with stuff at the hangar." He moved to a table and took a seat, leaning the vor'cha stick against the table and pulling out his cups of tea.

We're a small group of Jedi and other Light-side Force users who choose emphasize on self-mastery and essentially monasticism, utilizing martial arts and other forms of moving meditation. We operate mostly out of Qi-Ko and get involved at the best of various Church of the Force chapterhouses."

Kaia was more than happy toget involved with the greater Light Side movement out on the Rim. She loved being out here, the freedom, the … bizarre nature of the Force on the Rim and the bizarre nature of those who followed paths not strictly in line with the Jedi. Sure, she was a Warden but she was a Jedi sometimes first, sometimes second. She figured Alana was as well, with a name like Sunrider, plus Caedyn. So it was picking up the slack that the first Alliance held and then the Coalition on the Rim.

“My father has been working on some Jedi networking, between the Orders. And well, Starchaser Enterprises are always willing and able to provide ships, small shuttles or fighters, to those who need them.”
It was part of what the mission statement was, unofficially. Help those who needed it to get into space. “Besides the Dawn Treader is a safe port for all light siders.” Sure, it was a ship on its own right, but it was a carrier without a military wing. Had a squadron, but the rest of the space was maximized for living and support for travelers.

“I can download the list from my father, he has a few safe houses from the old Underground days… unless….”
She looked over at Peyton, and figured the blonde would fill in her own answer.

Her sometimes-friend-more-often-charge-to-protect was leading her in a direction. Still, the blonde was able to pick that up. “Yeah, Coren and Garn both had a huge list of ports of call for the Underground. Many are vacant caches at the moment, but they’re off the path and safe. Can start working on ramping up that aspect of our protection.” Plus the Underground was always needed.

“We could probably ramp up recruitment but we need to make sure we pull from the same package of people we had initially.”
She knew many of them were still open.

“And a lot helped the Jedi and Light Siders in the wake of a few setbacks.”
She smiled, looking to the rest, and giving Pash Tafo a look. She was wanting to do more to help the galaxy and that was how she found the Matukai. “But that’s another option, I guess?” She offered a shrug.

The voices of support began to sound. The Svivren Jedi Enclave, Jedi Master Sykes, the Starchasers and... the Underground. Pash's gaze again returned to Peyton, pausing a moment on Kaia, both standing nearby. For his part, Pash would do what he could, as an individual, to support the cause, or, as part of the Circle of Light...

That was when he caught a glance of Tiland Kortun Tiland Kortun . Pash had only recently joined the small band of Light Siders. Their philosophy very closely aligned with the simple tenets of the Matukai. Catching Tiland's gaze, Pash gave the ancient Anzati a greeting nod.

In a lull in the corporate conversation, Pash leaned towards Peyton Steele. "I would like sometime to speak with you about your experience with Matukai training." He commented.
