Alana leaned back against the bar and steepled her fingers, letting the others spoke while she jotted notes down on a datapad. The Svivren Jedi Enclave would be a good core area to begin building connections with, especially for an initial rallying point. A place for those less inclined to wander to call home. Balance was not static, nor unchanging, and it could not be restored by leaning too far in one direction.
It only caused a correction in the opposite direction. Balance was dynamic, fluid, ever-shifting. Just like the Force. Maintaining balance by staying still was impossible. It had been what shattered the Jedi under Palpatine and the Galactic Alliance and then the next Galactic Alliance, and likely this next one as well, as well as the Ashlan Crusaders.
That realization had come to her as she drifted deep in the Bryn'adul space, bleeding out around a medpak in a ship with a failing reactor. So she had fought her way back to health and returned, this time to the Outer Rim. They understood that ambiguity better than any of the others.
The Jedi could not survive by themselves, let alone protect the sentients of the galaxy. Isolation and removing themselves from the galaxy always led to their failure.
They needed the Matukai, the Disciples of Twilight, the Jensaarai, the Wardens of the Sky, the Fallanassi, the White Current. Individually, they were weak, splintered, and stood as isolated pillars. Together, they were a circle. Flexible, unbreakable, self-supporting. Different colors of the Force, different shades complementing each other. That gave her a pause. Colors of the Force? That was something she wasn't entirely familiar with. Alana set that aside.
"Good. I believe ORION had been using some of the Underground network, but only a small number, so we can coordinate with Garn which ones are thought to still be free, as well as the shadowports. And Audren, any sorts of things will be of great assistance. If we establish a small network of safe places to stay and something resembling a transportation network, that will be a great place to start."
