Let the force flow though you...

Nomad tried again, for just over an hour nothing happened until the box moved. It was slightly, ever so slightly but it was noticeable. "I did it?" he asked Oka.

Oka didn't reply. If Nomad really wanted to learn, he'd have focus more. Not stop in between long periods of time, instead keep going and ignore his surroundings. Learning this concept can take years upon years. But basic teaching should be easy. Finally, he spoke up. "I want you to sit here for 3 hours and focus on the box. When you feel like you can pick it up, give it a try. If you don't pick it up with the force, call out to it. Ask it to enter your abilities and strength. You might be able to lift the box then but you must do that and that only."

Nomad nodded. He was a fast learner in most things but this would take some time.

He closed his eyes and focused on the box. He didn't stop thinking about the box no matter how much his mind tried to stray.

Nomad wasn't sure how much time had passed when he tried lift the box. The box rose a centimetre off the ground.

this put a lot of strain on Nomad but he kept trying. Sending all of his willpower into the the box he even forgot to breathe. It rose higher to about 15 centimetres off the ground before it exhausted him.

The box fell back to the floor and Nomad fell onto his back.

After a few minutes he sat back up. 'Force help me' he thought to himself before starting again. The box lifted off the ground to roughly 5 centimetres, there it stayed.

Oka smiled under his mask but then pushed the box with some force as it dropped to the ground again. "The force would defend you, defend it. Pick up the box with the force and hold it for a hour. Then I'll see how good you can defend the force." Oka commanded. It seemed confusing what he was saying but it had to go this way to work.

Nomad wasn't talking much he only nodded

The box started rising and again and Nomad held it there, he lost all connection from the world; Focusing on the box. He wasn't sure how much time had passed.

Oka relaxed for a bit and then touched a button on his comlink. "Command, everything okay?"

- Yes sir

After the reply, Oka just sat there and edited for the hour to pass but he kept an eye on the box.

(I thought I had posted to this, sorry)

Nomad opened his eyes slowly to see the box was hovering roughly 60 cm in the air.

The task was draining Nomad of all his energy, both mentally and physical.

The hour seem like minutes to Nomad, nothing could brake his consternation, or so he thought.

Smiling under the mask, Oka began clapping. "You just learned the basics." he said thinking. There was a lot of stuff to teach but another place would do. Oka pushed the box with little force again as it flew and hit the wall. "Defend the force for you are weak in the force." It really made no sense but if Nomad had the force really in him, he would know what to do. "I'll be in the bridge, I guess I'll see you later. Don't forget our comlink channel." he said walking out of the cargo room.

(No problamo)
