Let the wookie win

Trextan managed to wind himself up in his own problems so much that at times he struggled to see anyone elses. Looking up he realised just how much Taheera was being affected by telling the tale. His eyes snapped from left to right as if looking for support. He wasn't really sure how to deal with this.

Trextan placed his cutlery down and listened. He wasn't well versed enough to understand the dark side implications of her ability, but she had spelled it out in more detail than he'd been able to put together himself.

Did you think the pirate was just trapped in there with Taheera?

"I... Didn't really think of it like that," he admitted. Concentration was etched into his youthful features. One moment becoming one with the Force and the next evicting someone else from their own body to survive. "You didn't mean to do it though. You said a lot of knowledge came through the cloning process. Maybe you need to find someone who can show you have to control what's buried down there?"

Fingers curled around her abdomen, clutching her forearms. She slid a bit lower in the booth, eyes tracked down once more. Ah, there it was. A wince crossed her green features. She never wanted it to happen again. And maybe, just maybe, she'd shared too much with Trex. She was younger than him in a slightly older body.

It was all a little weird and a lot complicated.

"Yeah," she breathed, finally broaching the silence. Myrtle-ellipses flickered up from their mopey position. "Actually, have you ever heard of Gabriel Sionoma?"

"Hey, it's alright," he tried. He'd been rooting around to try and find some words of comfort and that was the best Trextan had been able to come up with. His own problems felt suddenly very small, but he wouldn't go as far as being grateful to just have Jacen left. Though his great uncle still lived on tatooine.

Whilst Trextan had heard Jacen talk of a 'Gabe' on Sullust once he didn't put the faint memory and the full name together. He shook his head.

"No, doesn't ring a bell sorry."

"That's okay," arms stayed tightly clenched beneath her chest. "I'm going to take some leave soon and travel to Sullust. Hopefully he'll be home and I'll....go from there." She was betting this man would have some answers. She NEEDED him to. She also didn't know the timeline. Healers were short in the alliance and they were all the more needed with waves the First Order was making and rumors of their future plans. Taheera didn't know how long she could be away.

The mirialan pulled herself up a little straighter.

"Enough about me. Didn't you want dessert?"

That was enough of a trigger. Trextan narrowed his eyes slightly as he thought. "I think Jacen mentioned a Gabe on Sulon..." He shook his head, that was beside point right now.

"Well, if you're not having something why don't we just get another drink? Maybe a caf?" He spared a glance for his arm. An entire part - and a large part - of himself was entirely gone. It had been replaced with pain and difficulty. He would have to go back to the hospital and face up to that, but perhaps not just yet. They could perhaps talk of entirely trivial things for a short while longer and ignore their problems.
