Let's Get Down To Business [GA New Class Program]

The options laid out by Corellian Engineering were interesting. The durasteel-titanium armor, if he understood the concept it would lighten the armor without significantly decreasing the protection. And the Javelin hypervelocity gun...the potential was jaw-dropping. They'd seen how much damage had been done on Korriban by a similar class of weapon, and he was willing to bet that one hadn't been as potent as the Javelin. And they didn't think they'd reached the pinnacle, were actively working on larger guns? That was why those weapons were reserved for the biggest ships with the most trusted captains.

Xiphos would be useful to have on the Tarlanc though, so long as it didn't drastically weaken the other systems. He'd have to look into that once it was put out on the market, if it ever became publicly available. At the very least, he'd run the thought by Dankar. The idea of a dedicated shield ship was different. He could see how it might be useful, but if the other ships in the fleet relied solely on the shields broadcast and they were lost, there would be quite a bit more damage. Balancing act.

There was something through the Force, something he barely even caught as he focused on the displayed designs, but then it was gone.

The Sephi was glad to see that others were jotting down notes here. He didn't personally record anything besides mentally. It wasn't that he trusted his memory over other methods, or that he didn't want to look like he was going to steal ideas. No, it was simply the fact that Ceredir couldn't match these technologies, not for a long while out, so there was no point to recording specific details.

Taeli was next, and he was glad to see that the smaller craft hadn't been forgotten. Fighter/bombers were presented, as well as plasma-based weapons on a capital-ship scale. Nor were those the only things offered, she also had sabotage droids and delivery missiles. Those he devoted a bit more attention to, more because of the added capabilities of EWAR hardpoints; that was thinking outside the box. What really caught his eye though, was the Sianium. A power source with three times the output, that could be useful. That one he'd keep in mind. Clearly Aurora was diversified.

That was everyone present...nope, he was wrong. Roth Tillian of Tillian Family Enterprises was left, but he'd already said the Enterprises focused more on hauling and refit operations. It was possible, though unlikely, that he had nothing additional to offer at this point. Refit jobs would depend on what models the project leaders wanted to continue using, hauling would be dependent on any number of decisions from the leads. Of course, they were all affected by these decisions, just some more than others at this point.
