Let's try this again

Stardust had been left with questions unfortunately, after the death run she had turned to focus on more pressing issues, however after the liberation of commenor and now chilling out for awhile...she had simply to much free time on her hands! Most day were spent training her apprentices or herself

However today she seemed to have a lot of time, and a certain face appeared within her mind as she rubbed her chin...within minutes she started getting to work, this man that had saved her...he was quite powerful and she owed him a proper thank you and introduction

After what seemed like hours she passed a message to a emissary to be sent to the man

dear [member="Lan-Dai Navras"],
The queen of imahalyan would like to invite you to the planet to discuss in a few things, should you accept she will meet you here

Enclosed was her location and off it was sent

The death run had ended, Aren was still at bay, Lan-Dai was still no closer to finding her. True, she had managed to elude her captivity before he could get her out, yet the question remained...... Where is she now? Is she safe? Is she in any trouble? How could he get to her?

His mind reeled with conflict as these questions ran through the mind of the Emerallian, yet only a small part of his being began to question altogether the suddenly alarming concern over someone he had only met days ago. While he did consider her a friend, it seemed peculiar the amount of worry that took hold of Lan-Dai concerning Aren.

Meditating outside of his fighter, his astromech R8-V8 came to life noisily. The droid knew better than to do such a thing in the midst of his meditation, unless a present situation, or a sudden development warranted such an interruption. Rising from his stance, Lan-Dai approached the cockpit in a calm and composed fashion despite the interruption.

Looking over, he noticed an incoming transmission and allowed it to play:

"Dear Lan-Dai Navras,
The Queen of Imahalyan would like to invite you to the planet to discuss in a few things, should you accept she will meet you here."

Raising an eyebrow slightly, Lan-Dai was left to marvel at what he had heard. Who was this queen? And more importantly, what reason had a woman he's never met before let alone a queen to request his presence on her planet?

Breathing deeply, Lan-Dai resolved to find the answers to some of these questions by meeting this queen. Getting into the fighter, the cockpit closed and the engines roared to life. In that transmission were coordinates placed, more than likely leading to her.

Punching them in, Lan-Dai slipped into lightspeed and not long after fund himself hovering over a planet he didn't recognize. Landing in the precise location the coordinates indicated, the cockpit opened and the Emerallian somersaulted from within. His hood and helmet concealing his visage, his cloak hiding his weapons and armor. Lan-Dai found himself walking slowly towards a small house, not knowing what to expect within.

The little house, stardust had made it as a symbol and of course a practical home. A symbol as it showed she was always watching over her people to defend them against any attacks.

Stardust felt him drawing close, she sat still for a minute before nodding to herself as she stood placing her parts up nice and neat and brushed anything away as she turned and started walking towards him as she opened her door and looked towards him...she wore a simple yet elegant dress befitting how the people were, placing her hand sbehind he rback she smiled

you must be lan dai yea?

If not she had a saber on her side juuuuust in case

As he approached the house, Lan-Dai caught wind of a familiar presence. It was the same Twi'lek Jedi he had met during the death run, Stardust.......

An odd coincidence that only served to add more questions to the overall mystery of why a queen insisted on an audience.

Upon seeing her in a dress, Lan-Dai drew back only slightly, taken aback by the visage as well as the apparel.

"I am........... therefore the lightsaber isn't necessary" This was all Lan-Dai said to her, with only the slightest hint of apprehension.

"I was summoned here by a queen I do not know of, and I don't know why..............." Lan-Dai began before focusing once more on Stardust, his situationary ally. "Fancy meeting you here, what brings you to this planet?"

[member="Lan-Dai Navras"]

Stardust revealed he lightsaber and then sat it down on the porch as she strode forward feeling the wind against her face as it brushed before and sighed as she looked towards the city as she motioned towards it

this is my home of course, and my planet

She waited to see his reaction ad dhe stood ten feet away wih a friendly smile on her face

His entirely concealed visage relaxed as Stardust set down the lightsaber and walked over towards the overlook of the city below. Lan-Dai raised an eyebrow under his helmet and hood as she stated that this was her home and planet.

The interpretation perceived was that Stardust had been born on this planet, and thus called it her home and her own. Lan-Dai turned slightly to face more towards the horizon facing the city, looking over to evaluate further the place she called home.

"I see, and what do you know of the queen?" Lan-Dai asked with intrigue. "What is her interest in a random nobody like me? And what have I done to earn an audience? Regardless of the intent behind it...."

Stardust took a deep breath, coughing a bit as she felt her wound hurt a bit and grumbled quietly before standing straight again lookimg over the city the most notable thing being the palace that almost blended into the city

she came here several several years ago, she liberated this place from a dictator, stayed to help the people rebuild and in the process she was placed up for queen and took it...she has reigned ever since

Chuckling stardust turned towards lan and gave a friendly smile before she looked around then back to him

hmmm...could it be you saved her? Maybe she wanted to properly meet you and thank you for allowing her to rehrn home to her people and maybe even her family

Odd...stardust found it fun she was playing around the point...maybe she hoped he'd come to the conclusion the queen was standing right before him

Listening to Stardust explanation, Lan-Dai's initial impression of the queen was a favorable one. The queen somehow arrived and undermined a dictator's rule, stayed to reuild and only became queen after she was nominated for the position as opposed to claiming it or declaring herself as such. A noble ruler indeed, but what followed only created more uncertainty.

"I saved the queen? From what? When? I would rememer having saved such a person.........." Pondering for a moment to consider those he had interacted with recently and in what manner, he could not place a time or occassion in which he performed such an act.

"I would honeslty remember................. unless............." More than likely he had in fact, met her, yet she did nothing to reveal her status for any number of reasons. Lan-Dai initiated a mental process of elimination to determine who the queen was.

Stardust held a cool face, yet a twit h of the lips then she started laughing heartily shaking her head and then sighed as she turned fully towards him

maybe I should introduce myself properly, queen Stardust Australis Skirae of imahalyan and zeltros, last czar commando and master of the force, at your service

She said and bowed before rising waiting to see his reaction as she couldn't help a silly grin

While he thought on who the queen could be, Lan-Dai never took his eyes off of Stardust herself. As she started laughing, the clues that would expose his folly began to surface. He was summoned by a queen, the exact location led to the house from which Stardust came to receive him in person.

The poise she took when turning to fully face him was the final revelation. Stardust had only barely begun to say she would properly introduce herself when Lan-Dai instinctively drew back in surprise and sudden unexpectation, his reaction could easily be mistaken for having flinched due to his entire body being concealed. The Emerallian had fought alongside a queen and did not know until this moment.

Lan-Dai did not speak any further, offering only a respectful bow of his head in acknowledgement and newfound respect for his one time ally.

[member="Lan-Dai Navras"]

at ease my friend....I do not want any praise or any higher stature, I am just as equal to you or any other

She said in a soft tone and gave a friendly smile as she turned and motioned for him to follow her to her little house as she hummed

come come, I can get some tea brewing and snacks! Or if you prefer I do have spirits and wines if you wish as well

Opening the door revealed a very simple design, the living area mixed in with the kitchen that had a island in the middle of the kitchen. However as well few things of fear that was decommissioned and now used as trophy pieces I clouding a closed container that held the sabers of asari ventress

please have a seat and we can talk

The shock was still fairly new at discovering that Stardust herself was the queen that had summoned him, and things began to make more sense. Her words upon saying she neither stood on ceremony nor aimed to be beholden only served to boost her respect in her guest, as this expressed openly her simplicity.

Taking a firm position once more, Lan-Dai followed her loosely into her home. Part of him was confused at the overall essence of the house, yet the other part realized that the overall design did in fact fit the profile of that whom he had met in the death run.

Stardust had motioned for him to sit, and Lan-Dai complied. Sitting slowly, Lan-Dai took in the warmth and sensation of the house, yet without taking his eyes off of the queen.

"Very well then, what would you like to talk about?"

[member="Lan-Dai Navras"]

Humming she put some water on and placed in some of her favorite tea as she nodded and prepared a few snack glancing over to him as she gave a smile

I figured we could simply talk, no doubt the both of us are curious about the other, you for one are quite interesting and hard to pin down

She wasn't going to lie about the fact that she tracked him down, taking the tea off she placed two cups down and poured the tea which came from commenor tha fulky one of those she managed to get before it was besieged and then occupied

first off I want to know more about the man who saved me...its obvious yout skilled with your blaster and saber a combination not many take

This would turn more interesting than expected, and Lan-Dai could see himself dedicating the rest of the day to Stardust, if not longer. While not a talker himself, the Emerallian thought it a better idea to analyze his hostess as best he could since she possessed the qualities of a worthy long-term ally.

Observing still from under his hood and inside his helmet, Lan-Dai also decided to use this as a means to evaluate certain aspects of her personality since he never showed himself to any of his running mates on the death run.

"Fair enough............." Lan-Dai paused before continuing "Hard to pin down? A fact I'm particularly pleased about. For someone like me, it's for the best to move around unperceived. Certainly you understand such a point of view........"

"I am just as certain that your highness has spared no expense in tracing me after the death run, since you've succeeded...."

Seeing the tea poured in front of him, Lan-Dai took in the scent by way of the Force.

"What specifically do you want to know about me?"

[member="Lan-Dai Navras"]

you'll find it good then that any info I did find was erased so no one here aside from me would know

The scent was a gentle scent, bitter smelling yet with a hint of sweet. Taking a seat she smiled and looked towards him observing him then relaxed with a smile yet a good eye could notice she was on guard to...was it instinct or did she notice...

about you lan, your history, your thoughts on the force

Stardust's statement that she erased all records and other data concerning tracking him only served to earn her points in Lan-Dai's favor yet again. Nodding in approval, Lan-Dai took advantage of the movement to remove his helmet without removing his hood. Raising his hand to the level of his eyes yet not touching his hood, this hand held the hood in place while the other hand with a non-tactile maneuver lifted the helmet up and back into the bottom of the hood where it would stay until it was needed once more.

"Thank you, Stardust........... I was correct in my instincts that you would understand my perspective." Lan-Dai said in a tone that was far less deeper or imposing than with his helmet on as he reached out to the cup that was laid before him. This would give Stardust the first full glimpse of his gauntlets, and in essence his armor.

Taking the cup and raising it to his lips, the Emerallian sipped slowly and in approval of the taste.

"I am Lan-Dai Navras, a student of the Force............." Lan-Dai spoke calmly, and in even tones. "I have been a Jedi for over 6 years now, having spent most of that time on Iktotch in solitary training alongside my master, Tiro-Narus Altor............. He has since been missing......" Lan-Dai paused as that last statement was a blatant reminder.

Sipping once more, Lan-Dai continued on to answer the latter part of her curiosity towards him. "The force is simply a conduit of both life and energy, life creates it and it in turn creates life. There are many who have learned to connect to that conduit and harness the recycling energy found within. How and with what intent that energy is used is entirely up to the wielder, for better or worse..........."

Lan-Dai thought it best to leave it at that for now, waiting instead to gauge what Stardust would say or ask next.

[member="Lan-Dai Navras"]

mmmmm....

Stardust mused as she sat back and smiled, anyone spilled in the force could feel she was a blend of the dark side and light yin and yang. Smiling she nodded in agreement to his words

it is a tool, one that is neither good nor evil, it is determined by the user, I am sorry to hear your master has been missing if I can help do not be afraid to ask it's the least I can do to thank you for saving me lan-dai

Stardust sat forqard when she spoke giving attention, deciding to now let him once again feel her powerful presence fill the room as she let a breath out

6 years hmmmm...your evwry skilled for six years...I've practiced the force for over three decades....I've bounced from dark to light to where I am now...

Stardust was not shy about making neither her power and prowess in the Force, nor her alignment signature known. Lan-Dai only raised his head slightly as he caught wind of her presence, not high enough to show his face, however.

Her words in agreement to his own gave an insight, she saw the Force as he did and has had a longer time to train in it than he, yet she still considered Lan-Dai an equal in terms of skill and power despite his shorter bout of experience.

"Thank you for the offer, Stardust..." This was all he said as he felt her power fully manifest where they were. While it was an impressive sensation, Lan-Dai remained unshaken as he drank his tea.

"It can be said that for 6 years I had nothing to do but train...... Most of what I know I was taught, while what remains of what I know I taught myself......"

Lan-Dai chose his words carefully, once again measuring his hostess.

[member="Lan-Dai Navras"]

it is not shameful for one to self teach, even one as I have taught myself...the best way to learn is to be given a base and build off of it...allows you to make it personal and from that shows that you know how to control it without help

Stardust sipped her tea as she closed her eyes in thought, letting a deep bretah out she remembered most of the times she had to teach herself....opening her eyes she sat back eyeing her guest

howeve ri beleieve the real training comes from when what you've learned is tested and tried...there you then k ow what you must improve upon and study more...trial by fire

"No one said being self-taught was shameful, in fact it was how I perfected myself, and created my own style, a style that no doubt was seen in our previous encounter..."

Lan-Dai remained as serene as one could notice, going as far as to maintain his own Force signature concealed.

"Trial by fire? It can be said that what we faced was an explosion of sorts................ yet here we are, unscathed for the most part."

Lan-Dai sipped his tea once more, fixating his eyes on the queen.

"What else would you like to know?"
