Light side 101

'The Force is...a strange thing. Much like the river, it flows...in all things. It's path is not always clear, just as things aren't always black and white' - Kafh-en-ma-nofre
Those words, continuously finding their way back into Dominic's mind, after his encounter with the Sith on Kessel, the thought of a light and dark side of the force was intoxicating to him, why separate the force? Surely it would make more sense to embrace everything about the force. A nice round of cardio and punching bags usually would take his mind of things such as this, in fact that was exactly where he was headed.
The door opened, and as Dom peered inside he caught sight of [member="Kahlil Zambrano"], sat in the centre of the room, Knelt down, eyes closed. Dom assumed he was meditating, he must've been, surely he wasn't training on the floor, completely still, Dom simply moved around the edges or the room, coming to a small weapons rack, he picked up a training saber, starring at the hilt, thinking about potentially having his own saber.....
The thought however, quickly left his mind, as he looked back toward Kahlil, still motionless, so deciding that he had nothing better to do, Dom slid the hilt along the floor until it came to a stop just in front of Kahlil's knees, "Hey sunshine, feel like a little sparring? Maybe we can make you a better duellist" Yet again, he had seemed to have forgotten what the work 'serious' meant, he picked up the other saber, holding it backwards, waiting for a response from Kahlil...

Kahlil's brow knitted together at [member="Dominic Shiro"] 's taunt. He was indeed there to mediate and calm himself after his own training. He glanced to the young man as the saber was thrown his way and slowly stood, picking up the weapon and lightly tossing it in his hand. He knew Dominic was a force sensitive. Had, since they picked him up. But he had never trained him.

Might as well fix that.

"You're taunts are going to get you in trouble one day, you know. There are many in this galaxy that would break your neck with a flick of their wrist for such pettiness." His family, for one. He rolled his shoulders, turning the blade on. "What do you know of the Force?"

Dom turned toward [member="Kahlil Zambrano"] as he began to rise, telling him that his taunts would get him into trouble one day, though he had already seen how much trouble it could lead to, he wasn't going to stop anytime soon. "It hasn't gotten me killed yet, so with all do respect, oh wise jedi knight, i'm gonna to keep going" He smiled as he activated the weapon producing a yellow blade, casting a glow across the room, Dom cracks his neck and knuckles while approaching Kahlil, before spinning the blade in his hand so as if faced the Jedi...
"What do I know of the force? It's a living thing that binds everything together, flowing through everything like a river through a meadow... Something like that." Dom started circling around Kahlil, spinning the blade in his hand.

Kahlil exhaled. Mostly to keep himself calm. [member="Dominic Shiro"] certainly knew how to aggravate those around him. In a way, that would be useful in combat. Dun Moch was it's own style based around insulting their foe to ave them make mistakes. Not that it didn't get grating. "Yes, the Force is in all things. Living, dead, inanimate. You've already shown that you can use it on your own, let's see if you know how to use it with a blade."

The Knight took a stance, holding his blade up in a neutral guard with both hands. He made no move to attack, of course. That wasn't his style. Let the boy strike first, show off why he had a right to taunt so freely.

Kahlil, a Jedi knight, one with potentially a decade or so of combat experience under his belt, a force sensitive who could react to everything he could throw and then some, worse yet Dom had never really watched him duel, so he had no clue how to even begin. What was Dom's advantage? Nothing, they weren't in a jungle, there was nothing in the surrounding area to throw at Kahlil, and Dom only had to fight stupid Trandoshan hunters before, sure he might have survived Vylythis but he had a feeling she was holding back...
"Alright, cap'n, just remember, you asked for this"
Dom stopped circling [member="Kahlil Zambrano"], gripping the saber backwards like before so the blade extended past his back, his opener included charging toward Kahlil followed by a small jump before corkscrewing mid air to swing the blade down on Kahlil's head...
