The Dark Side and the Light

She backed up her saber shuts down, she was tired and knew she wouldn't last really at this point. "So did you turn your back on what it meant to be a jedi too? The Darkness in you doesn't save people it just proves you fell down off a ideal someplace. I remember my grandparents old stories. The jedi were the galaxies defenders, it's protectors in times of strife and darkness. When people suffered and governments would not or could not save them the jedi Knights stood against that evil. So whatever you or the council or anybody else says that's why I have my saber as blue and why I chose the path of a guardian. Because I still believe we have this power for something besides our own darkness within us. I believe my duty is to save and protect those who cannot stand up for themselves." She breathed heavily. "So if you want you can kill me now but I already know I'm on the side thats good, all you are is a sith who too late realized where he went wrong. No power you find in the darkness will save people."

"A, I was never a Jedi... kinda adverse to the title to tell the truth. Infact, only reason i use my title is that people keep confusing me with you guys or your enemies. I mean sheesh, does this look like the face of a Jedi or a Sith? Im no where near self absorbed enough to be one. After all, im stronger than you all anyways." His smile clearly showed he was simply joking now and he noticed she was far too tired to keep fighting so he shrugged and just tossed his weapons at the ground as he sighed and laughed. "As for killing you... A, you are not a slaver or my enemy, and B. You are too pretty to be cut down in such a... vile way. As for power int he darkness, what do you call Passion? Yes, i know passion is 'evil.' But if that is true would that also included the passion to protect and serve the galaxy?"
