The Dark Jedi shook his head at the little boy who was trying to dismiss the...well order. "You will come to understand soon...this is something...a little bigger than you and I." he reached his hand out as he spoke. "Crucix is...was...a man of great power. He...was our father."

Len blinked several times. He just said... our. Crucix was their father....​

".... So, I'm supposed to believe that you're my long-lost brother, showing up out of the blue to whisk us off to a better life or something?"​

His tone suggested that he didn't believe a word of it. His expression aided in that suggestion.​

Romeo shook his head and chuckled at the little one. "I never said it would be an easier life."

Len began walking away slowly with his mother.​

"In that case, I think we'll take our chances on our own. We don't need any more trouble than we've already got."​

The boy was becoming a nuisance to Romeo, he couldn't take the hard headed conception the boy was producing.

"No...I don't think you will be."

Romeo snapped his fingers once more, raising a wall of flames between Len and his mother.

"If you want her to live comfortable, I can promise you...she will, but you, Len, will have to suffer for it."

One minute, he was helping his mother walk. The next minute, she was seconds from being burned alive. Len was shocked for a moment.​

"L-LET HER GO!!" ​

He screamed. What should he do?? He couldn't just run into the flames!!!​

Romeo chuckled as he titled his head at the boy.

"You are misunderstanding this...it's you who is in danger. She...is not in harm's way."

His fingers curls inwards to his palm as the fire wall encircled around Len, and Romeo.

Len looked around them. This guy was insane!!! His eyes grew wide with fear.​

"What are you doing??!!" ​

He knew that Romeo could go into fire without burning, but even if he was related to the guy there was no way he'd live through this!​

Romeo laughed, and walked over to the boy then knelt to his level, placing a hand on his head. The flames died out with another snap of his fingers, and the when this was all done, the Dark Jedi spoke. "Relax. No one would ever harm you in my care. You would live a much easier life than you did. You're mom would be well taken care of...I promise. You...on the other hand will become a striving member of this family. It is a choice, but I wanted to show you...what you could become one day."

"But I can't do that. How am I supposed to become a striving member of a family that I didn't even know I had?"​

Len made a little face while Romeo patted his head. He wasn't entirely enjoying that. It made him feel like a five-year-old.​

Shaking his head, Romeo slowly stood up. "Not yet, you cant. But you will."

"Sure. Whatever..."​

Len immediately went back to helping his mother. He just wanted to get her away from here. Somewhere she couldn't keep hurting herself. She'd be much easier to look after if she'd stop hurting herself.​

​

Serine was still in a daze, smiling blissfully and staggering alongside her son.​
