The Empress' Handmaiden
I am the shadow that lurks in the corner of Her Majesty's chamber, always in waiting. My ear is Hers to unburden to. I oversee all the intricacies of Her life that are beneath Her. What She commands, I aid to manifest. She is the beginning and end of all things, and I am merely a tool for Her disposal, the thorn to Her rose.
But make no mistake. Should you threaten my Empress, should you look at Her incorrectly, should you even think an ill thought towards Her, you shall weep, and you shall beg, and you shall pray to be saved from me.
HISTORY
Born on Jutrand into an underground slave ring, Liliane spent years being passed from owner to owner for various duties throughout her life. As a young girl, she had to quickly learn how to fight for her survival at every corner, and took her first life — easier than she would care to admit — at the age of 13 when chased down by an unsavoury stalker. Liliane disembowelled the man, tearing out his intestines in a fit of fury that overcame her as quickly as it subsided again. The incident changed her, and she walked away from it with a valuable lesson in self-preservation that kept her alive in the years to come.
When she reached adulthood, her secret slavers had her seek employment as a domestic servant in the Jutrand palace in order to funnel her modest salary back into their own enterprise. During this employment, Liliane was assigned to the Empress' personal quarters. It was inevitable that the Empress would discover the branding on her arm to mark her for a slave.
Eventually, the Empress made the decision to free Liliane from this tethered fate, and in time began to be recognised her as her personal handmaiden.

STRENGTHS
- Patient and Watchful - Liliane knows when to speak, and when to stay silent. She understands the importance of patience and that playing the long game can be very beneficial.
- Tough - Not easily frightened, Liliane can handle a lot of stress both mental and physical.
- Dark Side Tendency - Being born under the oppressive rule of Sith-ruled Jutrand, Liliane's Force sensitivity naturally ebbs towards the Dark Side.

SHORTCOMINGS
- Brutal - If given the chance, Liliane will not hesitate to disembowel or otherwise tear apart someone who threatens her beloved Empress.
- Codependent - Liliane is obsessed with the Empress after being pulled out of slavery by her, and will do anything to ensure her survival and well-being. This clouds her own judgement and ability to care for herself as well.
- Cold - A brutal upbringing as a slave has rendered Liliane to be quite cold in adulthood, making it difficult for her to engage with anyone emotionally.
