Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My: a Bear Wedding

"Oh yeah, we are both into girls with fur. Look at who he's marrying. He told me he agreed because he just really likes being the little spoon."

The old merc's response is delivered with his usual deadpan seriousness, to the point that Cares may not know if he was joking or not. Of course, most people had that problem and with good reason. Entering the room behind Muad he doesn't seem to notice or care about the togorian's appraising look. He does however notice the suit raising an eyebrow when he sees two of them.

"I'm not wearing that."

Picking it up he inspects it for a moment then shakes his head.

"This looks terrible I am wearing my own."

Because, of course, Sol owns his own tuxedo.

"Also I'd rather you be sober when you make sweet tender love to your new bear wife. Also so I don't have to hold you up at the alter."

Frowning at Sol, Muad retrieved his suit and went into the adorning room to change. Coming out still frowning he was buttoning his shirt. Smirking at Sol he mourned the loss of liquor.

"Of course you would recommend a clear head. I find you to be an evil man, my friend."

Feeling Arabella nearing he couldn't help to poke the .... bear, do to speak.

I thought you wanted to see other people? And it's a little furry action, who could pass that up?

Walking over to the liquor cabinet he poured a large dose of some variant of whiskey without noticing the label. It wasn't enough to get him tipsy, but enough to warm his bones. He knew he would need it momentarily as he could feel the seething rage coming through his bond. Saluting Sol he tipped it back before abandoning the glass to move back and slide the jacket on.

"I guess I should warn you mate. Things are going to get very .... Intense in a moment."

It wasn't difficult to sense the wrathful presence nearing the door leading to the quarters.

Meanwhile the cathedral was filling with guests and the wedding party. The Cathar priest stood at the front as the time neared.

Other guests started arriving and the ice palace opened up its large doors. Katrine moved up towards them as they started moving, smiling at one of the bears that looked at her. Definitely stood out, which when she thought of it, wasn't really all that bad.

Stepping in, she could feel the fill of dark emotions from behind, making her stop and turn, trying to find where they were coming from but rather than staying where she was, the incoming crowd of guests pushed her forward, making her go on anyway.

Distractions are unbecoming, Jart whispered as she still tried to find the source, reminding her that she had a whole other plan for this event. "They can be fun though," Katrine reminded the spirit as she readied the holocam, activating it before she'd released it, letting the device rise up and begin recording. "This is gonna be fun," the blond said out loud, one of the guests looking at her oddly as if she'd spoken to them. Is that what this is?" Doashim roared as if he knew more than she did but didn't wish to share. "Meanie," Katrine called out as she finally found herself the edge of one of the seats. "Hi," the Lupine only said to the bear she sat next to.

Her mind was filled with dark thoughts things that she had put away ever since her encounter with [member="Connor harrison"] and [member="Audren Sykes"] and now here this pain that [member="Muad Dib"] was inflicting upon her brought them all back to life.

The darkness gave those names, betrayal, jealousy, and pain. She reached out for the door the one that she knew he was behind he acted as if nothing mattered. That she didn't matter, that the only thing that mattered was this marriage. She wanted his head on a plate.

He was throwing her away like garbage. After everything in their lives they had been through together, after all the times they had spoken words like love, forever, and the bond for feth's sake. How could she bear this bond feeling him with her, with it...feth she didn't even know what name to give it.

She would not cry. She refused.

furry action! Really Muad.

She pushed the door open and stood in the doorway staring at the man who she thought was her life mate. She stepped inside and removed her glasses obsidian eyes stared at the man, the groom...Muad.

Through clenched teeth, as she shook with anger, "I think we have something to talk about Muadie" There was a small vibration of the windows as she spoke she was so far able to control the emotions and darkness passing through her. She wasn't sure if she could once he opened his mouth to speak.

"I picked up on that."

Sol says dryly as Muad makes the shocking revelation that the big mass of anger that was rippling through The Force was coming for him. The old merc didn't quite know who it was but he was mildly curious as to who Muad had pissed off so much that they'd attack during a wedding. Though he was actually more curious as to why even more people hadn't shown up to kill Muad yet.

The answer to Sol's first curiosity is answered when the door is pushed open revealing a woman who called out to Muad, calling him Muadie. It took Sol about half a second to piece together who the woman must be, not her name but Muad had mentioned a woman in his life previously. Then he is too busy trying to swallow his laughter to do anything else. A strangled snort comes from Sol's throat from his place on the couch as the old mercenary covers his mouth.

This may be the single greatest day of his life.

[member="Arabella Darkhold"] swept into the room, the darkness of her emotions coloring her presence with an ample amount of danger spiking from her person. The igneous colored eyes spoke to her emotional state of mind, and her words pinpointed the reason ... As if it wasn't already obvious. Blue eyes broke contact with her's to see Sol reclining on the couch attempting to contain his merriment.

"You're a wampa's hairy posterior."

Looking back at Bella he moved to the mini bar and poured her an Alderaan wine, glistening a vibrant green, before moving forward to offer her the crystal flute. A slight amused smirk was work on his face as he approached.

"Belly, it's been awhile. You don't call, you don't write. I've been lonely without you. And you know what they say about idle hands ..."

His flippant words were spoken with an amused lilt to his voice. Ever the Mad Man he quietly goaded her with his devil may care attitude.

"What can I say, I made a bet, and now I get to marry a bear."

Bella took into account there was someone else in the room only so much that they were there. She smiled, "You're a wampa's arse Maudie." She took the drink, his words stung her deeply.

"You must have forgotten where we've been and what we've done Muadie" She took a deep breath and squeezed the glass till it shattered. "I don't care if you agreed to marry a rancor at sunset on wintery side of Ilum. Your hands haven't been that idle dear." She shook with anger but managed to slip her glasses into her pocket.

"Does the Bear realize that satisfaction is not a guarantee?" She moved towards him the force rippling through her fingers as the ground began to shake. The earth shaper in her was awake and ready to make mountains from mole hills.
