Designed by Aurora Station's advanced weapons division, this slug round combines Kov'dra, a uniquely Force-resistant and lightsaber-durable metal, with the synthetic explosive Iadrium, to Give teh round an etxra kick and increading its velocity
Each round houses a solid Kov'dra penetrator core, immune to most attempts at Force-based manipulation and capable of bypassing energy shields and heavy plating. Upon firing, the Iadrium compound ignites, propelling the slug at hypersonic speeds . The result is a high-velocity armor-piercing projectile This round is particularly dangerous to Force-wielders, as Kov'dra's presence distorts combat precognition and resists the subtleties of combat-based Force powers like deflection or anticipation. Even near-misses can singe or disrupt shields thanks to the heat signature left behind by the Iadrium burn.
However, such power comes with caveats. Overpenetration risks exist in unarmored combat zones, and improper storage of Iadrium cartridges may lead to catastrophic detonation if compromised.
