My suggestion is a quest. Perhaps you have heard of a sage living in a remote location, you go there but there are guardians protecting the path. You need to find a way to defeat challenge (with me rping the traps and minions). At end you will find the hut and are granted three questions and a holocron.

You awake and realize that the journey and all you experienced (the pain, wounds, etc.) was all an illusion except for the holocron that is sitting on your desk.

Mind you this is rough so your thoughts and feed back would be greatly appreciated.
