Claire smiled and nodded. There wasn't a doubt in her mind anymore that this is what she wanted to become. She knew her family would be proud of her if they could see this. "I do. I want to become a jedi."

Matsu clapped looking at her and the excitement was there but there was a few more things as she got some of the flavored milks and put them out before the girl with a sandwich. "Very good, now drink your milk and eat you sandwich. A jedi needs a full stomach and strong bones." She said it with a smile but was already setting up some of the plans for the things they were going to be able to do while the holo came up of Harmony. "We have the probe droids working and exploring master, they are scounting the mining areas for operations to begin." That was ood news to hear, whatever resources they could get that would be able to come out and help the jedi would serve a great purpose in the long run.

Claire was a little confused by the holo video that showed up. "Hm? I didn't know the jedi were miners." She said before taking a bite of her sandwich. "Mmmmm... Oh man, this taste amazing..." Claire said to herself and because she was so hungry, her table manners propyl disappeared and so did the sandwich.

"Jedi are meny things and mining ore can aid in making equipment or paying for the fuel to send out the ships for helping people. We may not charge for services, we may live with minimalism in mind padawan but credits do not grow on trees. They need to be around somehow." She said it more clinical for the things while she looked over a few of the things. THe jedi master had her attention on a few of the things. "We also mine crystals to have a supply to give and use with padawans. In the end the jedi you'll learn are just like everyone else we are just really good at pretending we are not."

"I see." Claire said as she listened to Matsu. As she did a idea popped into her head. "Hey... do you need any help with your business? You've done so much for me and I want to repay you somehow. Maybe in between my training I could help you out?"

Matsu was walking and hearing the padawan wanting to help well that was warming to her. She would be able to do some work but didn't like taking others from their lessons. She had worked on many of the things so jedi could come and go as their please. "You may, there is always things padawans can do to help out when it isn't taking away from their lessons. Cleaning or scouting and searching in their free time." Matsu was walking with her and in the city was one thing but the jedi temple was out there while she was moving over towards the cloud car with a smile. "Hop in, we'll head out to the temple and keep your eyes opened. Never know what might be out there."

"Ok master." Claire said as she sat in the passenger side.

Matsu looked at what was there and set the coordinates so she could learn them while heading off. The cloud car well faster then the other speeders as Silk had almost seemed to put a star fighters engine in the things instead of a standard one while she was accelerating over the open plains brushing the tall grass aside. Mountains and a couple shanty towns in the distance but not in the way while ships flew over head and Matsu kept going before a pop came. The distortion of the hibridium cloak from the temple in the area around it like a bubble capturing the spire of a temple in a globe almost while all around jedi were moving and some of the creatures. From the inside a crackling of energy in lines leading to a white pane showed the double blind nature as they couldn't see out with visual sight only the force.

"Whoa!" Claire was surprised by what happened. Of course she wasn't exactly sure what just happened and was at a lose for words. "Wh-wh-what was...?"

Matsu smiled a little and chuckled to herself while she was looking over some of the things. "We made cloaks for the temple, to hide it from sight of those who might try and raid or attack it. Not the best cloak but it is able to do what the jedi require." Matsu brought the cloud car in towards one of the lifts as it was being taken down into the hanger and she looked at the padawan. "So you ready to see your room?"

"I am" Claire said to Matsu as she looked around, She was in awe of everything around her. She never imagined the jedi temple would look like this.

Matsu looked at her. "Then good and we shall begin." She said it while leading the way through the lower levels of the temple and towards Sasori's main lab within as she opened the doors. Showing all the jedi gear they had been working on as well as other improvements. "We have been building things for the jedi and using the mines below for their crystals and ore deposits to make everything more accessible. Upgrading the protection young padawans need to have has been a key thing."

Claire raised a eyebrow when she herd that they were mining crystals, unaware of the jewel's connection to the force or it's use in lightsabers. "That sounds convenient but I'm a little confused. How does gemstone help protect a padawan?"

Matsu looked at her for a moment and motioned with her head as she produced one of the jeweled amulets. The jedi insignia on it with golden metal and blue crystal while she touched it. "Crystals are naturally able to conduct and hold the force some growing as force sensitive themselves and able to be used in many things. Jedi use them for their sabers and decoration to a point but the real trick is they can be beefed up with force energy to become any number of things. THis we made into a shield that can stop a lightsaber blade and only those of the lightsie are able to use it."

Shock and awe seems to have become the running theme of the day as Claire was once again amazed by what Matsu was showing her. "That's so cool."

Matsu was grinning. "Yes it is." The grin was there before she was looking over some of the things and the robes they had setup were being tested for their durability over most of the things. Improved testing for the gadgets and trinkets while she looked at the padawan showing the crystals themselves. "There is quite a lot of them and the crystals will be something you yourself find eventually as part of your training."

Claire wondered what it would be like to go down into the mine to get her own crystal. She figured it would be dangerous down there but it had to be beautiful too with all the glowing crystals down there. There was a rather colorful collection in front of Claire, she leaned a little closer to get a better look. "Sure are a lot of blues and greens here..." Claire thought aloud. There were other colors too like yellow and white but blue and green were the most common.

"They are the most natural colors, some reds, purple and orange as well when you get lucky. In other places there is just ones touched by the force and able to radiate calmness into the ones who touch it. A wonderful feeling in the long run." She had been working with some of the other ones and the va crystals just like the zirconianfire ones were there. All the different colors before Matsu looked at the padawan. "Though the real wonder is what kind of jedi would you like to be?"

"Hm?" Claire turned back to Matsu. "I don't know... What kind of jedi are there?"

"Many kind but the ones most padawans gravitate towards are the consulors and guardians. Consulors are the ones who use the force, study it, feel it in everything and meditate on it every day. Guardians practice combat with their lightsabers and how to use the force to protect. In between there are many sub classes and aspects a padawan could learn.
