Lost and Found

Aster smiled as she admired her reflection in the mirror. Her wild and unruly hair had been washed, tamed and styled into a fashionable ponytail. Instead of rags that were a size too small for her, she now wore a simple white dress and matching shoes. It was nice to look like a proper young lady rather the dirty street urchin she once was.

Butterflies fluttered in her stomach as she made her way into the corridor and headed towards the bridge of the ship where Konrad - the man who had brought her here and her uncle, the famous former One Sith General, [member="Isamu Baelor"] were engaged in conversation.

Aster trembled as she walked towards the bridge, her footsteps echoed down the corridor. She had heard much about the good General during her time on the streets. He was often hailed as the people’s hero and spoken of as a stern man with a strong sense of duty.

After a couple of minutes, Aster arrived in front of the door to the bridge. Nervous, she slowly took a deep breath in before she opened the door, anxious to meet the man she had been searching for so long.

Aster played with her ponytail as she entered the room, nervous but excited to meet the man. After all, he was the only living relative she had that she was aware of. ‘Will he be happy to see me or will he just not care?’ she wondered as she stared at the man.

Konrad noticed the girl’s entrance onto the bridge and looked up from the DataPad that he had handed to General Baelor. On it was information that pertained to the young women’s identity which proved that she was indeed Aster Rose Moreau, daughter of the stern General’s deceased wife’s sister.

Rather than interrupt the man, Konrad chose to remain silent and waited for him to notice the girl’s entrance. After all, it was not every day you learnt that you had a niece that had faded into obscurity and forgotten by society.
