Faction Lost at the world tree (RNR)

Location: Okarthel
Time:

Rainforest Ambience

Breathe in. The smell of flowers and vegetation filled her senses. Breathe out. The force rippled off her like a sonar pulse as she slowly breathed out. All around her in this massive rainforest life flourished. From the smallest insect to the largest trees. Milla could feel all of it as she grounded herself with her morning meditation. Okarthel was untouched by the rest of the galaxy, a wild planet where life moved in a chaotic rhythm completely oblivious of the happenings of the rest of the galaxy. A wild planet where life radiated in every corner and the force moved free and strong in every direction.

At the center of all this stood the world tree. A massive tree that towered high above everything else on the planet. It's canopy scrapped low passing clouds, while its roots sank deep into the planet and connected with every tree, plant and flower on the planet. The force echoed through its bows and trunk. A beacon for every Kiir and animal that walked, swam or crawled. This was Milla's anchor point that she grounded herself to every morning. With the world trees presence with her, she would never be lost on her home planet.

The young Kiir opened her eyes and gazed across the forest canopy from her perch on a large branch. Golden rays from the morning sun bathed the canopy in a warm glow. Clouds of fog and steam lazily rose towards the sky. The calls of birds and mammals alike began to grow louder as they greeted the new day. Another day had arrived and life greeted it like normal.

Although. A strange tension was building in the air. Milla sat cross-legged on the branch and pondering this unusual tug in the force. Something was going to happen and she wasn't sure what, but it felt like the force telling her to prepare for something eventful.

I had a late night of studying, so I slept on the trip here. There was something really cool about that idea and I am glad I did as waking up here in the middle of this is amazing! I love the outdoors, I love nature, I love it here! It’s like camping! I miss camping. Dad and I went all the time when he wasn’t deployed. I miss him.

No, not gonna mope on this! He’s here in spirit!

That tree is HUGE! No wonder they call it “The World Tree”, I can see why. I am loving the sound of birds calling out.

This is gonna be a great trip!

Who’s the girl? I am so glad I didn’t call her what I called Cerys Dyn Cerys Dyn so many times… especially not out loud! At least here no one but me is reading this. STOP READING MY JOURNAL!

Aiden caught himself napping as he shook his head a bit and his hand raised to rub his face a bit roughly to shake that sleepy feeling from him. The days had seemed to grow longer and sleep had become shorter. It was most likely Aiden's on insistence on getting every available training sessions and mission in that he could. He had conducted extra trainings with the Vanguard the Naboo Military. His abilities as flight were still less than average. Addison made things look so simple, he was excelling in everything else but the piloting still had some problems.

This was the Padawan's first venture to this planet, he hadn't done much reading up on it. Which was incredibly surprising since that he he did during his early, early teens ago. Even so, before that hours on hours in the archives on Coruscant. And yet, this place escaped his sight, until now.

The ship touched down, Aiden stood up and made his way towards the cockpit and the sight of green could be seen before them. The sight of the massive tree, and the Padawan's face showed a look of awe. The inner child in him showing as curiosity and amazement showed very quickly.

Aiden ventured down the ramp after it opened and the small wave of humidity hit him. Which didn't completely phase him at first as his sights were set upon view before them.

"This is amazing...." Aiden said with a smile glancing over to the others that slowly drifted from the ship. "What do you guys think?"

Phillip groaned to himself as he ran a hand down his face. Where had he just crash landed? He was sure that the shuttle he had bought had meant to be in perfect condition. Maybe he should have asked more details...Now most of his savings had went up into flames. Not literally, of course. He had hoped to get some form of independence from his family by getting his own shuttle but that plan had went out of the window.

As he took in the sights of the trees and nature around him, Phillip tilted his head for a moment. There was always some kind of beauty in all of it. This was the kind of stuff he thought had real beauty to it. Not paintings, or sculptures. Nature was living breathing art yet he never felt comfortable saying that out loud.

"Guess I should find some form of civilisation...Think of this as survival training."

He was sure that he had saw another ship landing out somewhere. Maybe he should have paid more attention to the skies instead of the beeping that had happened in his cockpit. Phillip shook his head, glancing back at the wreck of his shuttle. If he hadn't paid attention to that, who knows where he'd have crashed. Maybe he could enjoy this moment alone anyway. It wasn't like anyone was expecting him to show up anywhere straight away. All he had to do was find out where he was, and even then he could just...enjoy nature for a little bit.
