POINTS OF INTEREST

  • Entrance/Assembly Hall: A large, circular chamber that lies just beyond the massive doorway that leads into the structure. All rooms connect back to this chamber. Public gatherings and ceremonies are held within it.
  • Archives/Council: An underground chamber which is composed of two floors. The top floor is dedicated to the Temple's archives, and the bottom floor is a gathering space for the Temple's leadership. Mission debriefing is also held on the bottom floor.
  • Gardens/Meditation: An underground chamber which sports a variety of greenhouses and meditation space. Various forms of produce is grown here for the Temple. A popular room in this chamber is the Force Crystal garden, where various large Force Crystals lie to assist Jedi in their focus.
  • Training Hall: An underground chamber which houses the training space for the temple. All dojos, obstacle courses, sparing chambers, etc... are located here. Alongside being the location where many padawan trials are held, this space also sports top of the line Flight Simulators. The Medical Wing is also located here for ease of access in case of training accidents.
  • Living Quarters: An underground chamber set aside to be the living space of the Jedi that occupy the Temple. It contains temporary housing for guests and permanent housing for residents, alongside various common-spaces. A small communal dorm is present to house Jedi Younglings.
  • Mess Hall: A smaller underground chamber where food is distributed to inhabitants of the Temple. All food is sourced locally or grown within the Gardens.
  • Forge: A smaller underground chamber that houses a Forge, an installation similar to that found on Tython, where Jedi inhabitants can perform metallurgy and weapon construction. Padawans will build their first lightsabers here.
  • Hangar: A large underground chamber constructed out of the repurposed hangar of a Venator-class Star Destroyer. The top doors of the dorsal flight deck open up to allow access, but remain hidden beneath the soil when closed. It is the largest space in the Temple and the latest addition.

SECURITY
High: Alongside it's remote location and being majority below the soil, the Lothal Jedi Temple has been reinforced to withstand bombardment. Blast doors and magnetic fields can seal up the structure should the need arise. Greenhouses have been prepared to reroute oxygen throughout the Temple should the air around it become toxic, and various airlocks are in place to ensure minimal contamination should the need arise. Temple Guards, roughly one-hundred, have also been deployed to maintain the structure's security. The facility does, however, lack any form of weapon's based security.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
This history will be that of Chaos and will gloss over past events. For Canon, find here.

The Lothal Jedi Temple is a structure that's true age is unknown. It was constructed within the remnants of an abandoned Killik hive and seems to have been used to conduct Jedi Padawan trials for thousands of years, though most records of it's past use have since been lost. It would be abandoned well before the Clone Wars and would not be entered at least until 3-2 BBY. During the Galactic Civil War, the structure would gain some notoriety with Lothalites after it played some role in the removal of the Galactic Empire from the system. It has since then, however, gone unused.

In 902 ABY, after the ancient structure weathered raids from both the New Imperial Order and the Empire of the Lost, Jedi Knight Jalen Kai'el Jalen Kai'el would organize efforts to restore the structure for use as a Jedi Satellite Temple in hopes that it would directly serve the newly liberated people of Lothal, an effort to have Jedi support more independent systems in the Outer Rim. The structure has the capacity to house roughly five-hundred to seven-hundred Jedi at a time, though it trends towards the lower end of that number. It has since become a hub for community service and a headquarters for Jedi activity away from the Core, aimed towards the Tingel Arm and the Slice.
