Lovely Teacher

Now this was a good day and Barinthus moved quicklyt. He had been atr the academy and told he would be padawaned to the green instructor but then she and mommy left and he hadn't been able to follow as he had a small laugh and stood in a tunic and pants. No training saber yet and his father had been very clear about him and his sister not revealing who they were. As far as anyone knew they were just padawans who had come with the others and so no special treatment weren't the children of two jedi masters. Now he was standing there moving from foot to foot waiting for his master to arrive and his hair was combed to the side to give a good and clean look for her to see.

Making her way through the Temple grounds, the Shi'ido shivered slightly as her skin was cut off from the warmth of the planets sun, leaving the outdoors for the hallway into the Temple. Bumps appeared on her skin, as she felt a cool breeze travel through the archway, dancing across the Jedi's robes and membrane, causing them to flutter and waltz with the soft wind. Rasu was calm, a surprising change considering the circumstances. Normally the Shi'ido would be a nervous freak, but no having trained a handful of amazing students, Rasu had learned to control these emotions when approaching another Jedi prospect, even for one so young. Barinthus. The name had brought back memories of her time on Tython, having first met the young boy at the Jedi Academies opening, a time that seemed so long ago. Did she miss her old life on Tython? Of course she did, but she loved her new life on Voss with an even greater passion, which had made it easier for Rasu to deal with the hint of regret at leaving the Academy behind.

Breaking from her thoughts, she rounded a corner and almost walked into the young Jedi standing patiently by the wall, moving his feet in obvious boredom. His hair had been neatly pulled to the side and his tunic and trousers let off a sweet, clean fragrance. Rasu chuckled at the sight of him, assuming how much resistance the boy would have put into avoiding looking as he is now. Kneeling down beside the human, she offered him a warm smile, holding out her hand for him to shake. "Hello there, Barinthus. It's lovely to see you again."

"Thank you Miss green master lady." He gave a smile and stood there with his hands behind his back. He did remember Rasu from the academy and she would have trained him maybe... or the blond haired man who had tried to train his sister but then he was gone and so were many others in comparison. That left time to learn only a few things like he was now with and kept a smile on his face. "Are we ready to begin."

Looking upon the young human's face, Rasu could tell the boy was eager to be done with the socialising, favouring something, like most his age, with a bit more action. More than willing to comply, Rasu rose to her feet, tilting her head to face the Padawan. The Shi'ido was completely unaware of his abilities, and had no idea where to start from in terms of his training. The Jedi would have to rely completely on Barinthus' own knowledge of his skills, or at least until she had witnessed the child in his element, before she could truly begin training the human.

"Well what would you prefer to do young one?" she asked, unsure of where to go from here at this point in time. As of yet, Rasu had not taught or trained anyone this young, and although she had taught many younglings in a group, this would be the first time that she trained with a Jedi this young individually. She would allow Barinthus to take the lead, and hopefully learn from this event for the future.

The boy looked at Rasu as she asked him what he wanted to do and he thought about it. So much work to do and he didn't know much about the force he was far to young to hear everything from his father and mother. He wasn't certain if his master would like he was so open to learning everything though but that was how a master and padawan worked. His mommy and daddy had traveled for a time together doing everything. "I am open to learning it all, I want to know everything about the force."

Rasu watched as the young boy obviously pondered over his next few words, leaving the woman slight aghast by the rather mature attitude Barinthus brought with his reply. Of course Rasu was unaware of the identity of the boy's parents, not knowing that the young Jedi would have received ample training before he would have been brought before the Shi'ido. With this said, it was reasonable for the Jedi Master to be slightly taken aback, however she did not reveal any of these emotions to her young student.

Taking a moment to think through different training exercises, the Master tried to determine what would be best to drill into the human, trying to avoid the more strenuous tasks that would normally be performed on much older prospects. Rasu could sense that the being before her was exceptionally strong and gifted in the Force, but she still wanted to ease the boy into his training, taking a more gentle road on towards the path of the Jedi. Another idea sprung into her mind, one that would benefit both, and one that would suit the Shi'ido's training requirements for the time being.

"How about you put on a show for me?" she asked, a smile slowly growing across her emerald face. Rasu had absolutely no idea what the boy was capable of, so to help the Master and entertain the student, Rasu planned for Barinthus to demonstrate the range of skills, whether many or few, he possessed so to get a better idea of how much the boy needed to be trained. "Would that suit you?"

Put on a show? Did she mean like the type of show daddy did for mommy? Oh that seemed strange but he knew enough about cathar ritual that such a thing was not a problem as he gave a nod of his head. The smile on his face not going away as he moved about circling the room. He and his sister knew how to do a few things and knew how to use their muscles to be better then normal humans. The was what he did running at the wall and with more feline like muscles jumping up and off into a small flip. The energy of youth bringing him back around and around while he ran and jumped adding in some small twists and turns. There was a pole like his mother had in her room he could swing around though which wasn't helpful.

Rasu watched as the boy broke into a run, leaping onto the wall before taking a few steps vertically along the stone surface. Finishing with an agile back flip, Barinthus landed back on his feet, much to the delight of the Shi'ido observing. It was obvious to Rasu that the young human before her had received some form of training, even if it was more of a physical nature, she at least knew what had to be improved.

Now it was onto his knowledge in the Force, something that only Barinthus would be able to demonstrate and assess. Rasu was not to know first-hand the limits to which his abilities could stretch, and this would prove extremely beneficial down the track. "What do you know of the Force Barinthus?" she asked, testing the boy's knowledge on the subject which would be a staple for the rest of his life.

On the force? He wondered about it, he knew daddy needed the force to see and they all used it to live. More then that it was in the air, everywhere his sister had said it was even in him. "The force is what gives my mommy and daddy their power, makes it so they can fight the sith and enemies of all life. It is also all around us." He gave a large smile though to that and remained there standing still and then after a second or two fidgeting.

"You're right Barinthus, it is that and so much more." Honestly, she was ultimately pleased with the knowledge the boy already had perceived from his lessons with both Jedi alike and his mysterious parents, one's who Rasu was extremely curious to meet. It surprised her that she had yet to bring this discussion up with either of the twins, but it would have to wait till a later date. Returning back to the current topic, Rasu continued. "The Force is life itself. Everything we see and touch is a manifestation of the Force, and we as Jedi act as its heralds. We are, simply put, the Force's vessels, whereupon we maintain the balance."

She took a brief pause, making sure the boy was still following before continuing. "As the Force is in everything, this means that the lengths that we as Force-users can reach are in fact limitless. Am I making sense?" It was always at this part of the explanation that Rasu would make sure her student made sense of the topic, knowing that some in the past were left confused, and Rasu did not want this of the young boy.

He nodded his head to that, his father had said the same thing when it came to many aspects of the force. The green master before him got his full attention while he kept nodding his head faster. "Yes I understand, the force can do everything and anything. With many.... things we don't know, it was why Mommy liked bringing us out here." He stood there excited and fidgetted with his robes they were really itchy.

The Shi'ido's ears pricked up at the word 'mommy'. It dawned on her that she still had no idea as to who the parents of these twins were, and it surprised the Shi'ido that she had forgotten to ask on so many an occasion. The boy's force signature gave absolutely nothing away to his genetic code, and the boys appearance at such a young age would not provide any details until his more prominent features developed. Asking the question would be the only solution in this case, unless Rasu would be willing to discover the secret on her own, but she would rather not wait.

"Speaking of mommy, Barinthus. Do you mind taking me to them? I'd very much like to meet them, and I'm sure we could all benefit from discussing your future in the Order with them as well. How about it? Are you willing to introduce me?" she asked, wondering if the boy had actually been asked to keep his parent's identities a secret, but then again, she wondered why, if that was the case, to hide such a secret from the Shi'ido. Never the less, she would be given an answer soon enough.

He thought about it, there wasn't really anything bad about telling who his mother was... He and his sister just didn't normally tell people who they were. For a few things but mostly because revealing the truth other jedi would have been upset... But here there were different things. "I think we could." He thought about how to get his mother here and his father... Now that might knock some socks off he was certain. He moved to the datapad and for the holocommunicators of his parents Iella and Syn.
