DESCRIPTION
The backbone of Luna Corporation has always been property. Buying and selling desirable real estate was nothing new. However, the company recently set its sights on expanding their operations. After quite a journey to Seoul, she offered Kingdom Group’s current CEO a rather bold offer -- a chance to merge with Luna Corporation. Melanie was keenly aware that Kingdom had been facing its share of hardships under Imperial rule, and she knew that their business operations could truly flourish on Kiribi. That was why she had come to the rescue. Negotiations didn’t take long, and Kingdom’s leadership agreed to merge into Luna Corporation -- their employees would be relocated to work at the corporate offices on Kiribi.
Now, Luna Corp is very pleased to be able to continue selling real estate as well as being able to develop properties further before sale or keep the properties to manage themselves. As a new venture, they have recently decided to explore urban planning and development. Currently, they are working to expand their business on Kiribi and other worlds in the core. In terms projects, they focus on large-scale commercial business for the most part. However, they will work with individuals on a case by case basis. As a fairly neutral entity, Luna Corporation will do business with most -- but they are hesitant to work on worlds under Imperial or Sith control.
In order to keep building a better tomorrow, Luna Corporation is willing to partner with charities and humanitarian aid groups. They seek to improve the lives of the less fortunate, and especially those that have recently suffered through hardships. These efforts often include assistance building on rural worlds, or rebuilding on worlds that have recently seen natural disasters or suffered other devastation.
RATIONALE
Luna Corporation was a company that Melanie started from the ground up, shortly after she graduated from university. Unsatisfied with the idea of working for someone else, she created her own real estate firm upon attaining her license. It began as a very small, and found a niche selling high end residential real estate.Through years of hard work, Luna Corporation became one of the premier real estate companies on Kiribi -- working with celebrities and large corporations. Melanie has remained at the helm since the start, and has dedicated much of her life to running a successful company.
