SETTING INFORMATION
Military Base Name: Iyatr'Keldab "The steel fortress"
Classification: Fortress\Palace
Location: North eastern edge of Heimskringla, Krieg
Affiliation: Clan Naudir
Population: Crowded
Demographics: 80% Naudir military personel of varying races, 18% Naudir family members and other political staff, 1% musicians, 1% porgs.
Accessibility: The entire facility is surrounded by a ray shield that projects in a dome like shape above the main spires and extends down to the ground 15 meters away from the facility. Access can only be granted by the head of security's white list, or the alor of clan naudir.
Description: A large, square shaped building of stone with many windows and decorations dotting the walls, each corner meets a large square tower where the lookouts are based. In the center of the south wall is a large gatehouse. the top of the building has a large duraplast dome with four arching spires that extend from it to each tower, each spire powers the large rayshield dome.
There are several landing pads on top where shuttles deliver goods in and out, and fighters lay in wait.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Be'Alor yamika: The Alor's room.
The great throne room of Iyatr'Keldab. It is simple and practical in design, yet it still conveys a grand feeling. it is dimly lit and relies on the never ending sunlight of krieg's tidal locked surface. Near the ceiling and atop the multitude of arches and supports, the banners of every kriegir clan loyal to the naudir can be seen, drifting gently in the light breeze that filters through the ray shielded skylights.
Beskar'mru'r: The Iron Throne of Krieg
The beskar'mru'r, also known as the Iron throne of krieg, was built into the Be'Alor yamika during a celebration at the end of the Iyatr'Keldab's construction, it was erected to celebrate not only the fortress' completion, but also the unity between the Shi'lai, the naudir, and their allied clans. The clan Alors from all over krieg and even the shi'lai themselves came together and pledged their own vibroblades, which were then melted together with disruptor rifles, and then bent together by hundreds of warriors with their crushgaunts. it has been the naudir Alor's seat ever since.
Ge'tal par porg sanctuary
A small indoor forest of cassius trees and cherry blossoms, dotted by mossy outcroppings and rock sculptures. it is used for meditation, and as a sanctuary for the porgs kept as pets by the alor's family.
SECURITY
High: The entire fortress is defended by a rayshield dome as described above, Naudir soldiers patrol the length of the exterior shield and interior hallways, turbo lazers guard the skies, and small blaster turrets are hidden in small compartments in every room's ceilings, activated in the security room through a genetic scanner that only responds to members of the naudir family.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Iyatr'Keldab was built by Falken Naudir some 8 years ago during the early days of the mandalorian colonization of krieg. During the initial colonization, The naudir's only star destroyer suffered immense damage in a meteor storm while in orbit of the planet's second moon, augegrun, and was forced to return to krieg and grounded soon after. It was scrapped for it's duraplast and other materials, and used to build the Iyatr'Keldab. If one were to look closely, they'd notice that the quartet of arch like spires at the top are built from the front of the star destroyer itself.
The Iyatr'Keldab was built to act as a forward base during the colonization of krieg's island ring, and saw action against the gamorrean hordes during a joint defense between the naudir and the shi'lai, despite delays caused by the damage during battle, the fortress was completed a year later and outfitted with a ray shield generator and automated security system. In more recent times however, the fortress has been outfitted to accommodate political officials from both planetary factions, and offworld officials.
