Description:
A dedicated assault tank with the sole purpose of establishing rapid dominance upon mechanized and infantry units. Four repulsorlift engines give this tank impressive speed. On its turret is a massive heavy laser cannon equivalent to one of the chin-mounted lasers on the AT-AT. Also on the turret is a quadcannon for protection against starfighters, vehicles, or infantry in high positions. Mounted near the front are turreted point-defense blaster cannons, meant to shoot down incoming missiles and take out infantry. It is more heavily armed than the Imperial's infamous Firehawke Repulsortank, Hell's Hammers elite tank unit, but 70kph slower.
A Universal Jammer was also installed. Its function is mainly to reduce the range of a successful missile lock. It disables communications while in use.
Finally, a Holographic Camouflage Device was added. It is not as sophisticated as a holographic cloaking device, it only displays a camouflage pattern of choice on the hull of the tank. A number of standard patterns can be chosen from the cockpit, including Arid, Arboreal, Jungle, Plains, Ice, Desert, and various MultiCam patterns.
As a repulsorcraft, it cannot move through theater shields. And, as with all tanks, it is susceptible to aerial strikes.
