Description:
It began when Cryax and Colap were captured by Black Sun operatives. Intelligence from Raven slicers, and a man on the inside, indicated that they were held on a penal facility on Kessel. Study into Kessel not only indicated light gravity, but also a lack of oxygen. A barren rock for which is commonly used as a means of slave mines or prison facilities. The facility in mind is shielded and well protected by bunkers and fleets. Infiltration was out of the question, this wasn't a holomovie where they could sneak in and out unseen. This would have to be a full fledged operation.

Considering the facts of Kessel, it was decided to begin orders of Phrik mining for an EVA suit, attuned for Lysle. To identify himself among the Ravens, so that his comrades would know who he was, while also adjusting to his preferences of equipment. The EVA would protect him from any instances of exposure to vacuum or exposure to the atmosphere of Kessel which was unbreathable for humans. In the likelihood that Lysle was indeed exposed to the vacuum of space, a manned manoeuvring unit was added. 24 tiny rocket motors utilising nitrogen gas allow Lysle to navigate freely around in space without being attached to a vessel at all. The controls for flying the Unit are located as small dents on the wrist, where studs are missing and replaced with buttons. There is a camera attached above the helmet, to record the facility during the operation for further study.

Once the shipment of Phrik was delivered on Antecedent, with a bump in their travel, the studs were forged. It allows for extra flexibility that plated armour would otherwise not allow, while also allowing it to cover the places where plated armour isn't usually covered to keep up flexibility. Such areas as the armpit, neck and back of the legs. Once the armorweave body glove was provided, the suit was tested in waters. It maintained pressure underwater after several failed tests, and concluded that it would be viable to survive while wearing the suit in the vacuum of space.

Unfortunately the Phrik does not provide as much protection as it could. As the studs are individual pieces, they do not have the core strength a single plate of it would have. Therefore it is more susceptible to blaster fire, slugs and lightsabers. It is noted that the lightsaber resistance in the Phrik is all but diminished due to the studs being small pieces, with blaster fire showing moderate resistance before ultimately failing, and slug throwers proving that a well positioned shot can carve itself in-between two Phrik studs.
