Private Mad Mutants

Location: Polis Massa

Angonous looked over his weapons and armor, the Sith Lord was preparing his assault on the planet Elrinar soon. The task was to go in, fight the Bryn remnants, and retrieve the Holocrons inside Aurora Industries headquarters. The hardest part was to make it seem like an assault by a mercenary group, Angonous hated hiding and felt tempted to just unleash the Dark Side on to the hapless Bryn. However he needed to lay low and be patient, in time they'll reveal themselves and enact revenge. In the meantime, his apprentice Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate had been conducting experiments on Gula the Hutt's slaves. She had spent a considerable amount of time as Gula's slave something Angonous was sure she was not happy about. However the Sith Lord hoped it taught her a valuable lesson in remaining hidden in the shadows. Still Angonous decided to indulge her inquisitive nature by handing her slaves to work on.

"My apprentice," Angonous said approaching her. "I trust that your experimentations have gone well? You say that you have progress?"

Sicarius was feeling irritated. She had spent a humiliating time as Gula the Hutt's slav. It hadn't been the physical pain, she was part Zabrak, all Nightsister and a Sith Apprentice. Pain was somewhat enjoyable even more so then one consented to it. If you were expecting pain it took the surprise out of the equation.

She had been an object of pride a trophy for the slime slug to parade around his criminal court as a prize for his ego. It had been the most disrespected Sicarius had ever been. If she hadn't been ordered to by her Master, she would have slaughtered the snale and its entire court, the thugs, the gangster, the sycophants and yes even the other slaves rather then let anyone live to witness what had been her humiliation.

She had spent the time since the experience, experimenting on the new stable of subjects she had been given to toy with. It was somewhat carthartic to inflict pain upon others as she had been. To once again be in power and to have power over another.

She was studying genetic mutations. Trying to isolate genes of advanced healing. Turns out torturing others can actually be quite healing.

Sicarius smirked at the irony.

"Yes Master" Sicarius acknowledged "I've been trying to isolate a suitable host species for splicing damage resistance into their skins and organs. Currently I'm trying a new Obalisk paracitic strain. It is unlikely first trial subjects will survive, but they may be able to be used as specimens for identifying which strains are most suitable for future inflections. Right now I'm only using base human subjects, but I hop to expand along to Near-Humans and other bipedal species soon. The more cross genetics we have, the more people we can inject and infect."

Sicarius shrugged

"Even if we don't have a suitable strain for useful front line soldiers we may inadvertently be creating a new biological weapon nonetheless."

Darth Angonous Darth Angonous

Darth Angonous was sure that Sicarius felt humiliation from her time as Gula the Hutt's favorite prize. It was a necessary lesson for his apprentice, to learn the consequences for being reckless. There was a time to go all out but there was also a time to be restrained and given the state of the Sith Empire revealing one self was placing a target on your back. Sicarius needed to learn when to hold back and rely less on the Force and more on instinct. Disguised as a Bounty Hunter and Gula's top gun, Angonous secretly taught the the captured Sicarius to be observant and know when to speak. It was a long adventure but Angonous felt that his apprentice made some progress. Besides not only were they closer to finding Darth Bane's legendary armor, but the Sith Empire also gained a valuable ally within Gula.

The Hutt provided Angonous and Sicarius a slew of slaves for the growing army, as well as credits and supplies for the Empire. As soon as the slaves came in though, Angonous gave them their freedom much to their surprise. The Sith Lord issued the slaves a choice, they can serve the Empire and willingly volunteer to become enhanced soldiers or they can learn a skill at Polis Massa and be left to their own devices in the Galaxy once done. Angonous knew that many slaves would eventually come back their past lives gone and are indebted to him. The slaves will see Angonous as their "savior" and either become regular soldiers or participate in one of Sicarius' experiments. Altruism was what needed in order to make a fanatically loyal army. The strong and loyal will fight and die for the people who provided for them which was what Angonous was displaying towards the slaves.

Many slaves did come back and many were eager to shed their pathetic lives in service for the rebuilding Empire. Many were willing test subjects for Sicarius many experiments. Even under his apprentice's torturous test they stood strong even as many died. It was..... admirable to say the least, Angonous hoped that Sicarius wasn't experimenting out of cruelty but for results. Those slaves deserved that much.

"Three out of the ten test subjects will survive according to your report," Angonous said placing his hands behind his back and observing his apprentice. "I would say a biological weapon would just as efficient if you cannot produce super soldiers. Provided of course you create a vaccine for our soldiers."

Besides with an outbreak, it'll be easier to hide the Sith's involvement. Angnous wasn't a fan of Biological Warfare due to preferring to be in the thick of combat but if minimalizes his troops casualties while wiping out a battalion then he was for it. One tiny organism could destroy a planet, he witnessed it a year ago with the Rakghoul plague. "Do you feel something is missing to your experiments my apprentice?" Angonous asked.

Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate

Sicarius was still itching from her time as Gurla the Hutts slave. Itching to hurt and kill the slimeball responsible for her humiliation. Which she intended to do just that someday. To inflict the humiliation tenfold, she had fun fantasizing the different methods she could use, boil him alive was a favourite. She also wondered what would happen if she poured salt on him to see if the slug sizzled like its smaller cousins. Someday she would. The lessons it had instilled in her however had been taught well. One of them being Patience. In the meantime the entire fiasco had provided both her and her Master a new opportunity. For now Gurla was a useful ally, able to provide them with as many slaves as they wanted or needed. Which given Sicarius's proclivities for genetic research was a steady supply line of specimens. It was a satisfying way for Sicarius to indulge herself and enough of a reason for Sicarius to temporarily allow the continued existence of the Hutt and his empire.

Sicarius had been confused frowned upon her Master Angonous mercy towards the said slaves. Slaves were slaves. It was that simple. Offering their freedom for seemingly no reason was a waste of resources at best. She supposed he had a point with instilling loyalty, but personally Sicarius preferred breaking in their loyalty so that they were unquestionable with whatever task they were given. Little more than droids. Altruism was too close to mercy and mercy was for the weak, for the Jedi. Only the powerful could have choices, should have the freedom to impose their will upon the Galaxy. To pretend that anything else was the truth was naïve at best. Sicarius supposed she could respect manipulation as a basis for said power. The so called democratic governments in the Galaxy it was the strong and the powerful who fooled the masses into believing they were fit to rule them. Still it seemed an unnecessary waste of time. Rule those who obeyed, kill those that didn't. Simple yet effective.

Sicarius nodded as her Master correctly assessed the progress of her research.

"I can do better then a vaccine" Sicarius reported "Assuming the biological strain that started out enhancing super soldiers, is adapted properly, I can rewrite the virus code so that it only attacks those with specific genetic markers. Families, species or worlds. Genetic markers only found on each world. Everyone is a product of their environment. I just need to isolate the genetic strain unique to each worlds atmosphere and our troops should be able to walk through while everyone around them is dying."

Sicarius considered her Mastes question carefully

" Assuming I can deliver the biological weapon a suitable testing ground would be useful" Sicarius answered. "As for the super soldier strain. Still trying to find one that will enhance the broadest range of subjects. The same aspects that make it so effective as a spreading contagion, also means rapid development of the infection to the point of death. Meaning we currently have few longterm survivors."

Sicarius shrugged

"I'll keep working on it"

Darth Angonous could sense Sicarius' disagreement about freeing slaves. Angonous partially agreed with the statement, but considering the state of the Sith, it was best to increase their numbers and their reputation throughout the Galaxy. Besides they are still subservient to the Empire, it was best for them to willingly fight and die for the Sith than to be forced to. Something that Angonous learned over the years was that Altruism can be used for the Dark Side as well. A good army who is loyal to the cause is more valuable than cracking the whips, it'll cause the people to hate their masters and start up rebellions. Angonous heard many slaves turning against their Sith masters as soon as the news of the Sith's destruction spread.

"Do it," Angonous said simply when Sicarius said that she can rewrite the Virus to only attack certain host. The Sith Lord wasn't overly fond of biological warfare but there was value in it and any battle where he didn't lose any troops will be invaluable.

"For the Super Solider spread," Angonous said looking over the large test tube holding the enlarged soldier. He was once a slave but now he evolved into something greater than what his life once offered him. "I think I have an idea to keep them in control, They are prone to rage, often having trouble concentrating before eventually losing their sense of reality."

"The Sith Lord sighed. "Over the past few weeks we've observed the soldiers displaying, Schizophrenia, psychosis, and in some rare cases: Dissociative Identity Disorder. However I've found a way that we can possibly control them."

Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate

Sicarius personally didn't see the point or difference between a loyal follower and a broken slave, atleast not as far as canon fodder troops were concerned. If they needed to be a skilled agent then they would have value being able to think for themselves. Sicarius considered herself to one such agent, one of the things that made her valuable enough as an apprentice and ally rather than a lowly acolyte and servant. Slave depended on being told what to do, initiative was not their strong suit, in fact it was often discouraged. With a whip. Truth be told independent thought required a measure of free will rather then relying on orders for them to go into action or do anything at all.

An entire army acting on their own impulses however seemed to be at best a negative to military cohesion, even the so called 'free' army were expected to follow orders or risk court martial.

"An entire army acting on their own…. Impulses… seems…unwise" Sicarius objected cautiously "They may make good schock troops, even berserkers, but they would be a liability, may even attack our own forces and each other rather than the enemy"

Sicarius had a wry smile as another thought occurred to her.

"Although, research into psychological reprograming and triggers, are often most useful and effective on subjects who already have mental deficiency's. With the right reprogamming we could harness their delusions, so that they attack specific targets based on their own psychosis fears. If done right they would be completely obedient."

Sicarius was still pondering the problem and it's potential solutions and advantages when she realised she had cut off her Masters own hypothesis solution. Sicarius shrugged, at the moment it wasn't for Sicarius to question her Master too deeply or often, it was his call. The irony of the thought that she was obeying despite her objections proved her own point both for and against.

"Apologies Master you were about to offer your own insight and wisdom to the problem?"

Darth Angonous Darth Angonous

Sicarius was right about the Mutants going berserk and turning against the army. It was something that Angonous already knew about and had an idea, something hidden underneath the sands of Tatooine lay a dormant device. He had heard about this during Sicarius capture with Gula the Hutt and their wild Bantha chase in gathering dark side artifacts. "Harnessing their delusions is exactly what I'm thinking." Angonous said.

The Sith Lord walked towards the Holoprojector pressing the coordinates and displaying the planet: Tatooine. "There is a device that can control our shock troopers," Angonous said looking at the planet. "It is located in the southern regions of Tatooine specifically in the abandoned regions of the Dune Sea."

Angonous frowned. "It is called a Mulag's Eye." he said. "Named after the Sith Lord who created it, not much is known about him, but he was a genius during the Cold War between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire creating gadgets that can make even the most loyal Republic soldier into a sleeper agent. The last known location of this device was in Mulag's lab buried beneath the sands."

One device to control an army of thousands could give the Sith Army the edge it needs when it rises again. "I'd say we check it out for ourselves and see if the legends are true." He said. "If not, then there are surely valuable assets for us to acquire."

Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate

Sicarius looked at her Master curiously her head tilted, like a pup whose just heard 'walk or 'treat'. Sicarius and her Master both had a passion for Sith Artifacts. It was more of a passion than a hobby. Researching the artifacts was intriguing. Discovering them was power. A Sith's purpose was power after all. Knowledge was power. A Sith's knowledge even more so.

"This could be a great opportunity" Sicarius acknowledged as she pondered on it. "The Ancient Sith's power was enhanced by the artifacts they created. My personal hope is to some day find and utilize the Karness Turr Talisman. An entire army of mutated Rkhakgouls under her command. From the sound of it this Mulag Eye may serve the same purpose."

"Being able to place our own sleeper agents wherever we will could prove invaluable. Even more so then an entire army. The right sleeper agent can topple an empire overnight. Just look what happened to the Ancient Jedi. When a single Dark Lord of the Sith turned the Jedi's army against them with the words. Order 66!"

"Tattooine."
Sicarius mused outloud "I've always wanted my own pet Krayt Dragon. At the very least their pearls are said to be powerful artifacts in and of themselves. Might as well go hunting while we're searching for Ancient Sith tombs."

"Maybe kill a few Hutt's along the way"

Sicarius loathed Hutts with a passion, killing them was something of a hobby, experimenting in ways they could die, as slowly and painfully as possible. So that one day she would have her revenge on Gurla the Hutt.

Darth Angonous Darth Angonous

It would be nice to have a device like that against the Galactic Alliance, even though the Sith Empire has no problem having sleeper agents inside the Senate it'll be even easier to have more agents. Especially loyal citizens to the Alliance under the control of the Sith Empire. "We don't know the specifics of what the device does." Angonous warned Sicarius trying to temper her expectations. "If anything we are operating on just rumor and legend but I know for sure that one of Mulag's favorite planet to conduct experiments on is Tatooine. It'll be easier for us to go undetected with the recent collapse of the Confederacy."

To think a massive faction like the CIS was wiped out by Demons from the Netherworld. A massive Empire driven to its knees thanks to the power of the Force. It gave Angonous a newfound appreciation of the raw power that the Force possesses and how little power he truly had in the grand scheme of things. The Sith Lord gave a huff when Sicarius was once again veering off topic about wanting to own a Karyt Dragon and desiring revenge against the Hutts. "Focus Sicarius," Angonous stated bluntly. "We are not here to enact your revenge fantasies. Need I remind you in why you were captured by Gula the Hutt in the first place?"

Sicarius seemed to forget that her recklessness caused her to be kidnapped and humiliated. Angonous allowed this mainly because he needed her to learn how to be discreet. But the lesson never seemed to sink in with her. "The pearls though sound intriguing," Angonous said. "Send in the scouting team to collect the items. We need to make landfall near his lab."

Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate

Sicarius akcnlowegde the reprimand, bowing her head in acquiescence, but couldn't help adding her thoughts

"A Sith Artifact is always useful, regardless of it's purpose" Sicarius countered "If nothing else it preserves the history of our order, as well as being somewhat of a status symbol within our order as well."

Sicarius had almost forgotten about the recent collapse of the Confederacy. The vacuum it created was more like a wormhole. The borders of the Confederacy had been vast and the Confederacy itelt had lasted longer than anyone had anticipated. The territory itself was ripe for the taking, either by a new incipient faction or by one of the powers of the Galaxy to move in. For the purposes of this quest however the lack of a major central power to the territory was ideal.

"Yes we should move in before a faction is able to assume control of the former territory." Sicarius acknlowdged. "Another faction will rise up and claim the Confederacy's former territory. It's only a matter of time. Right now we barely have to deal with local governments. The Space is open for ours to traverse freely."

Sicarius blushed furiously at the needless reminder of her recent humiliation.

"That constant reminder only fuels my revenge fantasies. As a Sith it is my right and more then that my duty to do so.. No self respecting Sith would let such an insult stand, and neither shall I"

"Finding multiple advantages on a mission to a world such as tattoine is only prudent. If for no other reason that it saves us from returning at a later time when it may not be as relevant or easy or we have to deal with a significant power."

Sicarius backed down a little.

"But I remember the value of the lesson only all too well. I will temper my personal desires. The Mission takes priority. I will indulge myself another time."

For now. Sicarius thought to herself bitterly.

Darth Angonous Darth Angonous

"You feel anger and rage," Angonous said. "That is good but channel it into this mission, we may be Sith but we are in hiding after suffering at the hands of the Galactic Alliance and New Imperial Order. Compromises must be made to ensure our survival we have to direct our rage and thirst for vengeance towards the big picture which is the revival of our great empire."

Angonous then looked at Sicarius. "Besides," he stated to Sicarius bluntly. "You are not true Sith, not yet anyway."

The Sith were easily distracted by personal grievances, no doubt Sicarius wanted payback for the long and humiliating time as Gula's slave. Angonous would've killed Gula himself after making sure that Sicirus learned her lesson. However, the slug proved to be useful in providing slaves which can fill the ranks of the army. Gula even offered Hutt Clone Troopers to serve due to his connections on Kamino. Of course that's not going into the many Sith Artifacts that he and Sicarius stole from him during their trek.

"Agreed," Angonous said. "It angers me that we are not strong enough to start trekking into the mid and outer rim. There are many planets with valuable resources."

Angonous still didn't like Sicarius statement about indulging her desires next time. "Gula is still a valuable ally," Angonous said. "Once we get what we need and when our Empire is finally ready to take vengeance, do what you will."

It's all about hiding in the shadows right now. There can be no room for personal grudges not anymore. "Get the ship warmed up my apprentice." Angonous said.

Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate

Sicarius grated at the truth of her Masters words. Between the Galactic Alliance and the New Imperial Order, the Sith had yet been able to reclaim their once great nation and empire. Subtlety was needed for the time being. The Sith had to work in the Shadows as they had done so before. It was not yet time for overt power or influence. The last time they had done so on Ord Mantel had been satisfying in the moment but had extended consequences. The consequences of being Gula the Hutts slave. Something her Master never let her forget, not that she could ever forget herself.

Sicarius eyes flashed with anger at her Masters blunt reminder of her status as apprentice. Not yet. She was a Sith in all but name. She had survived the Sith Empire's collapse when Great Dark Lords of the Sith had not. She may not carry the rank, but carried the strength.

"Gula is useful for the moment" Sicarius reluctantly agreed "But only for the moment, for now he supplies us with slaves, and test subjects and the occasional lead on an artifact, but we are becoming to dependant and reliant on him as a resource. We should cultivate other relationships for the services he provides. He is useful but he should not be invaluable."

"Another Hutt Crime lord perhaps let them squabble amongst themselves, for contracts and power. Keep them weak until they have served their usefulness. Gula is an expendable resource and necessary one. For now."

Sicarius bowed and moved at her Masters instructions preparing the ship for the journey. The conversation with her Master had left her frustrated. After preparing the ship she returned to the lab. To relieve her frustrations, her thoughts centering on her eventual and satisfying revenge.
Darth Angonous Darth Angonous

Angonous shook his head. "I am aware that the Hutt believes that he has a.... beneficial business relationship. He has a large ego and believes that he is more powerful than he actually is. However, Gula is not aware of what we are doing to his slaves. Nor does he have connections to expose where the Sith Empire is hiding. Gula is a thug, a mere brick on the board, we will be searching for other resources once we build our army."

He had connections with other nefarious criminal organizations. Some whom worked with the Sith prior to its collapse. Angonous will have to make note of contacting them after he is finished retrieving Mulag's eye. An hour later, the Sith Lord approached Sicarius who he can sense was frustrated with what he said to her. Good. Sicarius is easily angered but what she should learn was how to control and make that anger work for her. Already she is letting the anger control her mind dictating her to perform irrational actions.

"Have you informed the scouts?" Angonous asked. "Right now we must focus on the task at hand, be prepared for anything. Tatooine is a wretched hive after all, you and I have already been through wretched hives while we were in disguise. Yet not of them pales in comparison to Tatooine."

Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate

Sicarius nodded mollified by her Masters acknowledgement of Gula's temporary usefulness. Sicarius was fine to let the slime lord live, for now, but sooner or later she would have her revenge. A slow, painful humiliaiting revenge. Torture in every sense of the word. Potentially an academic interest as well. Sicarius was mildly curious about the potential of Hutt Clone Troopers. Gula could be a useful base DNA subject. It tickled Sicarius the thought that she could have her own slave army of Hutts someday, courtesy of Gula the Hutt.

Sicarius spent the next hour doing research. It was her dream to one day have her own menagerie of Sith Mutants. Bull Rancors, Rhakgouls, Leviathens and Krayt Dragons. Those would be her tanks. Her shock troops, those would be more expendable. She had yet to find a mutant strain to work cross species. Humans were the most populous base sentient species in the galaxy, Sicarius suspected that they were the base line sentient species that was cross genitised across the galaxy. Most other species were a result from their environment, but a significant number were bipedal with opposable fingers and thumbs. Possibly by the Rakata, though that ebged the question of where they evolved from. Hutts were an exception to the rule, the slugs were slugs plain and simple but still capable of their own intelligence and capable of living for centuries, and despite usually having no personal combat abilities, they had managed to forge their own empire. It was a curiosity of hers. Ideally she'd be able to select certain species with beneficial advantages. Gula was giving them a good supply for the moment. Even if she was working through them like fruit flies.

Sicarius looked up as her master came in with further instructions.

"If we're gonna be using Gula, we might as well use him." Sicarius admitted with a sigh "The Hutts are terriotorial, but they tend to be aware of each other and have their own etiquette when encroaching on each others territory. Tattoine is more a collection of Hutt fiefdoms, then a united society."

"I'll contact one of Gula's pirate-smuggling outfits. They should make for relatively cheap scouts and bodyguards, I wouldn't rely on them though, they'll cut and run if it suits them."

Darth Angonous Darth Angonous

"Agreed," Angonous said. "If they run, kill them my apprentice we do not need any loose lips in this mission." He sat down on the chair looking at the controls. "Gula said that his men are some of the best mercenaries in the galaxy, but he's also a liar best to tie up loose ends if things go south."

The Sith Lord turned to Sicarius. "I sense a disturbance....." He muttered. "As if there's something elsewhere, elusive. I am not sure what will find or if the information we've received is bunk but you must keep your guard Sicarius. Something is admist....."

Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate

Sicarius frowned and aid attention to her masters warning. She herself couldn't feel anything untoward but she trusted her Masters instincts. The last time she hadn't she had wound up as a Hutt's plaything after all. It had been a humiliating lesson but a lesson nonetheless she would discount her Master lightly again. It would be important for her continued survival and one day her inevitable killing of him and her own ascension to a Dark Lord of the Sith. Something she couldn't achieve without defeating her Master herself. Still in the mean time she'd learn what she could both from and of her Master.

She had for instance noticed his… attention towards her. Even while she was dressed up in that ridiculous outfit, his unintended glances both towards and away from her attire had been telling Something that could be exploited if she did so carefully. It was typical seduction of a male. Too soon or eager he'd loose interest, too aloof or dismissive he'd move on.

"Of course Master" Sicarius "I trust your knowledge and power is greater than my own"

That of course didn't mean she couldn't add a little flattery here and there. Men. So fragile in their own ego, blow on it a little and it fanned the embers into a flame.

"Master" Sicarius addressed him as she nodded to a clustered group of Mercenaries. Typical Hutt employees. A few Weequays, a Klatooinians, some Gammoreans, one or two humans on the fringes, and of course a Twi'lek bureaucrat as the appointed toad lackey leader.

"Welcome! Welcome!" The toady lackey greeted them merily "We have been told by his gloriousness Gurla that you require the services of these fine gentlemen. I Hope they will suffice. They are the best we could arrange on such short notice"

Darth Angonous Darth Angonous

"No," Angonous said bluntly as soon as they arrived on Tatooine this was supposed to be a Sith operation and right now Gula is sticking his grubby little head in a place where it didn't belong. Just because Sicarius pretended to be a fragile slave girl and Angonous his humble mercenary to him doesn't give him the permission to interfere with Sith affairs. Annoyance started to build up within the Sith Lord the first steps to anger. If they keep this up they would soon see why their presence was not necessary.

"We will enter the tombs on our own," Angonous said to the mercenary. "What we're facing is beyond your comprehension. If you're eager to serve though, then you will guard the entrance and let no one enter."

As he looked at Sicarius he couldn't help but feel..... attracted to her figure. The way she dressed in a provocative fashion she doesn't wear much in the waist up even after suffering the indignities of a slave girl she still dressed in a manner that was fierce yet seductive. Angonous kept that to himself though. "We'll need to do a through investigation." Angonous said to Sicarius. "Don't let the fools touch anything."

Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate

Sicarius snorted with contempt at the weasels pathetic attempts to ingratiate himself with them. Sicarius was tempted to execute the fool out of hand to discourage further attempts of snivelry, but her Master had been preaching a lot about restraint and subtlety recently. Last thing she needed was another tedious lecture on the subject. Honestly he preached almost as much as the Jedi did sometimes.

It also stuck Sicarius as needlessly juvenile and Master Angonous was a big believer in discipline. Showing too much defiance would just instill the notion that she was an inferior not an equal.

Constantly aggravating him would not be wise or condusive at this point. Sicarius was playing a delicate and long term game. Although some relationships were enhanced by flirtatious arguments.

"Believe me I've had enough of scum touching things they have no right to touch. Things only you have the right touch. Master."

With a slight emphasis on the last sentence. A delicate game. Show enough flesh to entice, but still provoke an imagination. Sicarius noticed her Masters wondering eye and played a little flirtatious smirk to her features. Bowing humbly she said.

"Of course Master" Sicarius inclined "Where should we begin our investigation?"
Darth Angonous Darth Angonous

Angonous viewed love as a distraction, not necessarily a weakness but it can make a person soft and distracted from their goals. Though he stared at Sicarius his stomach feeling a bit uneasy, Angonous refused to act on those emotions. Sicarius did not know this, but he was aware what she was trying to do. In fact given her attractive features, this could be a useful alternative than her trying to kill anyone on a whim. Perhaps he can be the training bot that Sicarius can use to hone in her seduction subtle and overt. The question is how far is she willing to go? Angonous was rather eager to see what she'll do.

"Indeed I do have the right to touch you my apprentice," Angonous spoke in a whisper. "To discipline you if you fail me. Tell the men to spread out and set up Blaster turrets on the perimeter. We must approach with caution Sicarius, I sense grave danger behind those doors."

Sicarius Hekate Sicarius Hekate

Sicarius thought love was at best a distraction at worst a weakness to be exploited. She herself had never felt it or atleast she didn't think she had, it seemed like the type of thing she'd have remembered feeling or experimenting. The closest she'd come was successfully seducing one of her professors. Biochemical expert, she'd needed his access to his lab and clearance. She'd later arranged his death via a mutagen. He'd died gasping and writhing while she took notes. The incidence was what got her into acolyte training. Apparently someone had seen it as evidence of her potential.

Somehow she doubted Angonous would be as easy a target or prey then the old man had been. Sicarius shook her head to get out of her daze. Perhaps her Master was right and she got distracted on tangents of thought too easily. It was something she would have to consider during her next meditation.

Sicarius ducked her head in mock self admonition. Before turning to her given task.

"Make sure the turrets are set up in overlapping fields of fire. Set one to rapid fire the other to power shot. Line up the men in a half circle between the turrets. Set up a datapad HUD with 360 scanning field of vision. Track all seismic, movement and heat sensors."
