Major Faction Plot: Reaching for The Stars

Alright, so after some talking and much discussing with some peeps. I wanted to do something with The Awoken that i feel will really get us some exposure. Everyone knows that the Witches of Dathomir kind of anchor themselves to one planet and remain stationary. As do most factions. But lately i've been thinking...what if The Awoken was more nomadic? Like a Space Colony of Witches? Traveling the stars free from restraints and restrictions.

Obviously tho, ppl would want us to go Major. So we'd just take Winters home planet 'Glyss' and use that as a tool of sorts. While The Awoken itself travels as a fleet and such.


Ladies and gentlewitches. I present to you The Arc.

This, my friends. Will be our architectural marvel of a space station for when we go major. Now, we can't submit it to the tech factory because its insanely massive. However, after talking with some codex peeps, we may be able to turn this bad boy in as a Location Sub for the Codex. It will take a 'great' deal of work and development, and i had a very neat idea for how The Awoken could discover it and take it. I was thinking that the station has been overun by unsavory types and as a result, The Awoken can help liberate it as a massive Faction Campaign. Fixing its economy, lowering crime rate, fixing its politics, and basically taking it over as the main home of The Awoken.

And with the help of some of our friends, when we go major we can put this bad boy on the map as our main base. The Arc has four gigantic cities each unique and with their own energy to it. After we take this, we can work on creating a massive fleet to help protect it since...lets be honest, this god damn thing wont have any weapons or defenses. lol




So what do you guys think? Should we start making big moves like this? It's going to take a LOT of work. Shit like this is not easily done and normally looked down upon if just thrown out there like 'Hey we have a big awesome thing now.' I wanna see if you guys are ready for such a thing. Could really put us out there as one of the cooler factions.

I like this idea a lot. It would definitely set us apart from almost everyone else. But if you're going for a Biblical reference with the ship name, you spell it "Ark". Or you can spell it "Arc" too, if you want to be creative! Either way, you do you!

I still advise toward patience. Have a fleet already built. We need Interceptors, Fighters, Bombers, Gunships, Dropships and preferably more than one type for some of these. That's before we even get into Corvettes, Frigates and Cruisers.

If you want The Awoken to be a nomadic Fleet we need ships for many different roles, ships that are little more than floating colonies, assault ships, carriers, missile ships, the whole shebang.
