Make a name for yourself.

Darkness. Pure and void, the warehouse was bathed in complete darkness. Then, a pair of bright orange eyes. A second later, the inner flame began to spread backward to form a head, then a complete body. Smirking, a face of pure flame looked at it's ethereal form, the only source of light in the massive room. As if it wasn't enough, the body of fire flared brighter and larger for a second, and a fireball shot from it's hand, striking a wooden target twenty feet away. He was getting better. Then, as quickly as the embers had flared to life, they died out. At the click of a button, Jake witnessed the warehouse lights turn on around him. Slipping on his clothes and grabbing his backpack, he walked out into the day-lit city of Coruscant. Pulling his hood up, he walked into the streets.

Silent as the night that surrounded me. I watched as a man exited the warehouse. I had helped him earlier when he had set a hospital on fire. Still I wondered how he had been in the last few weeks. Still I could feel the heat that the man produced when he was inside the giant place. Watching him like a falcon, I stayed in the shadows. Ever so vigilant of where he was walking on the Courscant streets.

(OOC: I said it was day, but I guess we can change it to night :p)

Looking around him, Jake wandered the streets cautiously. For all he knew, the authorities could still be keeping an eye out for him. He'd have to be one step ahead if he were to- "Excuse me sir, can you please turn around and take the hood off?" Great. "Sure, officer, let me just turn around really slowly..." He made a very slow motion of turning around, but as he did so, he checked his surroundngs. In the building next to him there was a car dealership, with a very nice looking motorcycle on display. Quickly calculating his options, he acted. Shooting a tiny spark at the man's shoe, he then turned and melted the glass. Jumping inside, he quickly mounted the vehicle, hot wired it, and sped off. He didn't mean to cause any trouble, but he really didn't need to be spending his time explaining himself either.

(Opps sorry man.)

I smiled as the man continued to walk, even when others moved around him I could see that someone else was watching him. The cop was wanting to see what he was up to, I knew he would run. Even then, he stool the bike and ran off. Smiling I could still keep up with him. Letting myself fly off of the roof top I moved my way after him with forces of Air shaping. I could only smile as I followed after him.

As he rode, Jake was surprised at how easily the bike handled, even at the speed he was going. Whatever model it was, it must have been either a prototype, or extremely rare. He watched the speedometer, his eyes widening, then a smile soon covering his face. He'd just found his new favorite ride. After about five minutes of joyriding, the man stopped in an alley and shut it down. Getting off, he patted it softly and sat next to it, breathing hard from adrenaline. His first major theft, and it felt good. Interesting. It was then that he felt like being watched. Looking around nonchalantly, he tried to see who was stalking him.

The man seemed to ride on forever. However, it was not hard to follow him with flight from air shaping powers. I was what seemed a Kilometer above him. once the man had stopped in a little ally off to the side did I allow myself to drop. The time it took me to lower myself down to the top of the building was less than a second. Here the gravity helped me in bringing me down. THe last few meters to the top of the roof I slowed my decent down to a hover so I could silently land on the edge. He seemed to enjoy himself with a few puffs from riding full of adrenaline and a slight smile on his face.

The man, Jake I think it was, looked around to see if the police were following him, or he could just be looking for me. ether way, he was looking for someone. I would take my time with this man. He was a rogue. someone who would run after you see him. and I didn't want him to run.

As th other settled on th building above, Jake hold feel a slight ripple in the air. Now he was confident somebody was watching him. His eyes narrowing, he looked out into the other side alleys, hoping to catch a glimpse of his pursuer. "Hello? Show yourself, I don't want to hurt you."

I only smiled and shook my head at the man's words. Jake was not so keen on how I had used my powers earlier. Now that I was dressed in a three piece suit instead of my gig attire. I also had my hair combed to the side slightly I don't know why I felt like wearing these things, I just felt good doing it. I let myself drop down and land infront of the man's vision. As I did I cracked the stone ground beneath me and dust go over my suit.

I stood up nice and straight and dusted myself off. "I don't think you can hurt me, Jake."

Jake lowered his defenses when he saw who it was. "Morna. What are you doing stalking me around?" He let his eyes drift to the motorcycle. "I... I did what I had to. Besdes, it's a nice bike." Straightening himself up, he noticed a small hole in his jacket where a flame had burned through. Grimacing, he shook his head softly. He really needed to find something flame resistant.

I smiled as he knew me still. But he thought I was stalking him. yes you could say that I was doing that, but it was more of observing a man that I knew to have fire powers like myself. I just nodded once at his quip of taking the bike. "I don't care about it. Everybody needs one." I smiled at him when he looked at his shirt. "Don't worry man, I go through clothes faster than you could think."

"But stealing should be a last option. That's how I was taught I... I'm remembering now. My parents always told me not to steal or kill. It's wrong." He shrugged off the comment about clothes. He just needed to get an entire stock of medium size hoodies for future use.

I nodded my head as he spoke about not stealing and killing. "Yes both of those things are wrong, but sometimes they are needed. you will learn that soon enough." I walked towards him and offered a handshake. "Last time we met I was dragging your half-naked arse out of a flaming hospital, so for a formal introduction...."

At the joke, Jake's normal cocky grin returned, and he shook the man's hand. "Nice to meet you... again. One question though. Were you air shaping just now? I thought only the most experienced of shapers can use more than one element. I know I'm experienced, I just haven't remembered everything yet. But still, I know I'm not that good yet."

I smiled and nodded my head at his question and talk of mutable powers. "Yes I can control air and fire at the same time. though I most often use fire for my attacking." I showed him by gathering a ball of fire in my right hand and a gust of wind that seemed to come into my hand and swirl around creating a mini-tornado that pulled in air just enough to feel as though someone were tugging at his clothes ever so softly. "You have to be more than good. You have to be a master of one before you move on to the next one."

@[member="Jake Travers"]

He nodded, understanding. "Could you help me to regain my memories, perhaps teach me some new stuff? I can't remember too much, but I do know that I was close to being a master. I just need my life back." He tried not t sound like he was pleading, as he hated being at the mercy of others. But he was willing to do whatever it took to have his memory restored.

@[member="Morna Imura"]

Asking me a question, he wanted my help to regain his past. As much as he called himself once a master, I didn't know. However, it was not my nature to say no. I had helped others in their search and now another I will begin with. "Yes I'll train you. When ever you feel like it, we can train, ether in fire powers, or air but you will work at one for a while then I can teach you the other. "

Jake brought his hands up for a minute, staring at them. Just in the last week he had seen them burn as bright as the sun. Not only did fire work, but it was... fun. He remembered his parents. Vaguely, but he remembered them. They had told him not to learn fire, and it certainly hadn't helped him in that alley. "Teach me air. My parents were air shapers, it would only be right. I should've listened to them in the first place."

@[member="Morna Imura"]

I nodded my head at the man. He was just like me. Taking foot steps after his parents. I had done it once long ago, but now I don't dwell in the past as much as I should. I remembered how I had made my sword and saber after my fathers name, and my bow once belonged to him as well. The pendant that I wore also belonged to my mother and the set of rings that once belonged to mt father on my right hand. Even with the bronzium claw rings. I had slightly hidden them from him when I had shaked his hand with my left instead of my right. Now that they were open he could see the black and dark brass color of the rings.

"Air shaping it is then." I picked myself up with the wind and also lended a hand to Jake by using a soft gust to lift him to the roof above with me. "No better time to start than in the present, as they said long ago."
@[member="Jake Travers"]

Jake took Morna's hand, looking down as they rose up to the roof. At first he was a little queasy, but his body adapted quickly, as he figured air shaping was in his genes. When they had reached the roof, he looked to Morna for direction, but in the meantime thought of something. "Wait a minute. Fire requires air to survive, so... Isn't fire shaping technically just a more complex form of air shaping? If you just take away the energy needed to combust, you should easily be able to control just th wind itself, right?"

@[member="Morna Imura"]

I smiled and thought about it for a minute. realizing what he meant I shook my head. "Could it be thought of that way? yes, but how does one make fire? you need a spark, fuel, and oxygen. For a shaper they make the spark, fuel it with the force, and the air around them gives it enough power. But in space things can still burn by heat, however, not by flame. so no its not a form of air shaping." I made a spark by snapping my fingers. and let the sparks die. "Every one of the elements go hand in hand with one another, but they do not have sub classes. Air can deteriorate ground yes, but they help eachother in the cycle of life. all of them do."
