The Manta-class airspeeder is the mainline airspeeder for the Starchaser Enterprises production line. Designed as a planetary reconnaissance airspeeder first and foremost, as the galaxy is ever in flux, a skirmisher trim level package was also introduced. Designed to get the pilot moving around a world to map it out and report back, or deal with hit-and-run strikes on various targets of interest. They are typically launched as the first move onto a new planet, from a high orbit, and retrieved the same way by anything with a starfighter hangar.
As they have been released, the civilian market has called for their own trim, thus a racer package was released, removing most military hardware and focusing on speed and ion cannons for tag-races.
