You are being intentionally dense with this. More than just people from SJO are thinking this is a good idea.
And your comment that it serves no purpose is poodoo, it serves the purpose of letting the writers actually relax and get some stories told that may not have to do with getting invaded constantly. This is a community of writers, not a contest of whose is bigger.
The suggestion would help out everyone. I know people in FO who were feeling the invasion fatigue even while pounding the crap out of GA. I know people in OS who were getting the fatigue while pounding the GR.
So, please, stop trying to inflame people. If you don't have actual constructive criticism, just take it as a fact that we understand you don't agree with this. It's been noted.
