Map of Midvinter - Discussion

@Everyone!

Updated the significant places on Midvinter area with a cut up of the map in respective Marks. Changed the colour of it to indicate the respective Houses colours.

Included are the updates of the places of interest for the PCs in the faction.

[member="Mysa Snowstrider"], you shall note to the location of the Bastion and the new capital of the Northmark, in relativity to each other. Not too close nor far away .. ;)

I cannot see either the Capital or the Bastion on the map, but I do love the way you have split up the various regions!

One day the Eastmark will be mine...

Here is the locations of the Straits and Golden Gulf for when the sub is approved:

Feel free to adjust the font, etc, as you see fit. ^_^

Straits of the Setting Sun: Two towering statues depicting the sons of the Dawnbringer, one wielding a sword and the other a shield.

Golden Gulf: A calm body of water housing the Fridheim harbour and its many ships. The majority of fishing is carried out here, while the bigger games requires one to brave the Great Maw beyond the straits.

In the next day or two I shall be updating the Midvinter map. Need to add in Thurion's stuff. :p

However, I have been thinking. ;)

I want to add seven rivers to Midvinter, and there is a reason for this which I shall reveal later. But first I would love it if you guys could help me out with the names of the rivers.

To give you a little information on them, I wish to have at least one major river running through each of the Marks, and of course reaching the shore line at some point. A couple of the Marks have natural areas in which a river's mouth would form, so I have a rough idea for them.

I would like for all of the rivers to join somewhere at some point on the map, but if it is not possible, well that doesn't really matter greatly but I shall give it a go.

So, need the names of Seven! They can be either Norse based or not I shall leave that up to you. You don't have to come up with seven names, one or two would do nicely. ;)

Nordic language/culture isn't nearly a focus of mine, but I found a dictionary and strung some words together. Maybe they make sense, maybe not.
