Master and Apprentice

Fair enough. The Zabrak nodded his head, speaking the words "Yes Master." once again. His gaze had moved onto how strangely large his shoulders were, practically staring at them, before his attention being snapped back to [member="Darth Acarus"], as the Pureblood began to speak once more.

"I can handle those." he stated, quite excited by the prospect of travelling the galaxy, and the duels. The way he referred to them as trials did worry him slightly, as he'd most likely be scrutinised by not just the Sith before him, but the other of many, scattered around the One Sith. Again, his eyes were drew to the shoulders, as the knight shrugged them.

"Can you truly handle them, or is it simply the boasts of a child?"

His golden gaze settled upon the Zabrak before him. Who didn't boast when they were young? Who didn't let arrogance get in their way? Acarus was certainly still an arrogant fellow, blinded by whatever skill and accomplishments that he had completed in the past. They were enough to let him understand as to how far his power to increase. Was it possible for it to stop? He didn't know, and he would make sure to find out.

"Both." he replied, his gaze meeting his master's before him. After saying this, he pretty much had to perform well in these 'trails' or he'd be found as a weak, cocky stupid little child. He didn't want that. "I'll prove it to you." he finished, a small smile developing on the corners of his lips.

Acarus frowned.

The cockiness of the child would have to be crushed.

"Leave me now, your first session shall begin early morning tomorrow. Do not vex me, lest you wish to be destroyed, boy."

Malphas waved his hand off as if to show that he was dismissed, then he turned around and glanced about the room. There was plenty of preparation needed.

He nodded, and walked out without a word, replacing his cloak onto his shoulders as he passed. The Zabrak looked rather like a bat as the black cloak he donned billowed behind him as he strode toward his dormitary, on the other side of the temple.

Early next morning, the Zabrak Acolyte returned. He wore no cloak, only black robes, with a utility belt, sturdy black boots and a pair of, you guessed it, black gloves. His weapon was attached to his utility cloak, however, he held a Nightbrother spear in his right hand. I had two blades, each serrated and long in length. Now, he awaited his master's appearance, and he definitely couldn't be accused of being late.
