Jacen has been a very vocal and focused character for a while. He's written really well, and has done heaps for the Galactic Alliance.

What do you think the difference in his character arc would be after being promoted to master?

I'm not sure the rank itself will affect the journey. Perhaps a little.

His story has mostly been one of self redemption. As a youth he was far too cocky and ended up being evicted from the Jedi Academy. Those scars run deep. Since then he has always been fairly self deprecating, yet has always tried to do right by others.

Rejoining the Jedi Academy on Ossus is where I actually started to write the character. His early threads dealt with how difficult it was for him to overcome his daemons and truly gain control of the Force. His first battles were mostly internalised as he struggled to gather the courage to fight on.

The main arc to come is one of growing into a role of leadership and responsibility. Once again he's taken another fall recently and had to slowly pick himself back up off the floor. This time he's going to start to believe in himself, and allow others to look to him for leadership in the field. As he realises that he can take padawan's under his wing and genuinely offer them advice I think seeing the difference he makes over time will bring a new level of resolve to carry on the fight.

There are going to be stumbling blocks in the way. At some point I'm going to throw his family back into the picture and explore what happened to his Force Sensitive son being on Coruscant under the One Sith. Also he'll keep talking to [member="Adele Adonai"] as if she's a normal person and keep putting her on egde
